I visited a restaurant in Ginza that stays open late. We started with a delicious simmered dish similar to oden, and enjoyed a variety of yakitori skewers. The restaurant is a bit small inside, but considering its prime location in the heart of Ginza, it's sufficient.

I often use this restaurant. Because of its location, there are many women in beautiful dresses or kimonos who come with gentlemen before going to work. They are open late at night, but I have never visited at that time. The atmosphere is homely, and it is my favorite place. The yakitori is delicious, and although the menu is not extensive, everything I have tried is tasty! The only downside is that the food service can be a bit slow. It seems that smoking is allowed.

[Izakaya Misato] This was my solo drinking spot the other day! I dropped by after work for the first time, and I appreciate that they stay open late. The two chicken skin skewers in the photo cost a total of ¥6,500. The appetizer didn't have much flavor, so they may have forgotten to season it due to being busy. The skewers were delicious! #Yakitori #IzakayaMisato #Ginza #SoloDrinking

A shop where you can barely get in even as a walk-in (be sure to call ahead just in case). It seemed like the staff and the grill chef were off that day. The female floor staff also seemed unfamiliar. We started with a salad first, with celery pickles and onion slices. We casually ordered some grilled items, and it was a bit of a struggle to order during the busy time. But after 8:30 PM, it started to calm down and surprisingly it wasn't uncomfortable. The appetizer was unusual - mashed potatoes with minced meat sauce. It was funny because my companion was talking about only eating onions and meat in nikujaga (Japanese meat and potato stew) at that time. When entering the second-floor tatami room, be careful of the ceiling. It's interesting that they serve grilled chicken with Japanese mustard and fried chicken with mayonnaise and ketchup here. Thank you for the meal!

It seems that the frequency of posting has increased, possibly due to visiting the restaurant more often? I don't think I've ever had a dish clash here. Quite impressive. Lately, I tend to order the same dishes each time I visit... Amidst this, I tried the wonton for the first time, and it had a deliciously chewy texture! The white liver skewer is a must-order for me. Tomato slices and shallots have also become regular orders. I might not be able to visit for a while, so I wanted to post this here for now. Thank you for the meal!

With a sudden invitation, the first place that came to mind was here, our usual go-to spot. They kindly accepted a rough reservation time between 18:30 and 19:00. It's the season for delicious green onions from Shimotsuma, so we had them simply grilled. They also grill each skewer individually, which is convenient. And the enoki mushroom soup was delicious! However, my companion actually doesn't like this type of mushroom soup, so I ended up eating both servings (laughs). We ended up having a hot sake festival, drinking about 4-5 cups. Those who like the skin kept asking for more. Despite claiming to be full from tonkatsu for lunch, our appetites knew no bounds (laughs). Thank you for the delicious meal!

Yesterday, for some reason, I found myself in Ginza for the first place I visited. We had speedy dishes and delicious appetizers, but the yakitori was similar to the chain store Yoshitori in Osaka and was more than double the price. Well, that's the cost of the location! Still, there were plenty of customers at the restaurant, making it an easy place to visit in Ginza.

- Assorted skewers (5 skewers)
- Shallots
- Cartilage fried chicken: The fried food here is unique in that it is typically eaten with ketchup.
- White liver: I like it with ketchup, but I think I prefer the fried chicken in a more traditional way, haha. It's quite handy as a side dish. It's usually possible to get a table without a reservation, which is great. When going to the second floor, watch your head (especially for tall gentlemen, haha). Thank you for the meal!

As usual, many people come in without reservations and decide on a whim on the day of their visit. Even if you are lucky enough to get a table, there are often rare items or sold out dishes. On this day, it seems there were no dishes that I particularly wanted (I can't remember what I wanted to eat when I wrote this article). We ordered Yanesen ginger with smashed cucumbers, and enjoyed picking at them. Oh, I forgot to take a photo of the appetizer! We also ordered grilled dishes here and there. Oh, maybe it was my first time trying stuffed bell peppers with meat? I always thought they were big with lots of meat stuffed inside, but when they were grilled, they shrank and were easy to eat. For the finishing touch, we ordered a natto omelette! How unusual! It's a good trend that the dishes ordered change depending on the person you go with. Thank you for the delicious meal! Although I always use it as a last resort, Misato is a reliable place. I'm grateful.

Zucchini pickles as a starter, quite innovative! The yakitori was also solid and delicious. The atmosphere at The Yakitori restaurant was great. The fried chicken, or rather, Tatsuta-age with mayonnaise was understandable, but ketchup? Is it a thing for all fried foods to come with ketchup? I think it's unnecessary since the flavor is already good, but using it for a change is also fine, right? As always, a great restaurant that is open from early hours till late at night. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I came here. I wonder if we always sit at this table if there are four of us? We sat at the table in the back on the left side as soon as you enter the entrance. We wanted to order something like raw liver, but somehow we all ended up ordering the same thing? (Group activities are a hassle lol) We decided to share two orders of an assorted yakitori set with 8 skewers each. It was okay, I guess, considering it's late at night. Thank you for the meal! ☆彡

I was drawn to this restaurant by its name and decided to visit for the first time. I started with a draft beer and chicken sashimi! The chicken sashimi was tender and served in a tataki style, it was okay tasty. On the other hand, when I ordered 10 skewers of yakitori, they all came out at once. Seriously? That's unheard of in Ginza! I reluctantly ate the cold yakitori with Chita highball. Hmm, it feels different. Keep trying, please.

On November 15, 2019, I went to "Yakitori Misato" for some late-night yakitori. "Misato" is located in Ginza 7-chome, on the 1st floor of the Aster Plaza building. They are open until 5 am on weekdays. I have been there about five times, and it has a nice, old-fashioned yakitori feel to it. The place gets crowded, especially with groups around 1:30 am. They have a variety of dishes, including fresh and tasty yakitori, potato salad, rolled omelette, fried chicken cartilage, onion slices, and more. The recommended items seem to stay the same each time I visit. The atmosphere is great, and the food is delicious.

A long-established yakitori restaurant in Ginza that has been in business for many years. I had missed several opportunities to visit this place over the past few years, but I finally made it! Visited with four friends, we sat in a small raised seating area on the second floor. The ceiling is low, so be careful not to bump your head! We started with some draft beer and highballs for a toast before quickly placing our orders. Since it was late at night, some items were already sold out, but we were prepared for that! No problem! I had high expectations for the food, but to be honest, I prefer the taste of some other nearby restaurants.

From rare cuts to popular ones, with salt or sauce. A recommended yakitori restaurant where you can enjoy various ways of grilling. We were able to make a reservation for the evening on the same day, so we arrived at 7 pm. The lanterns immediately got us excited. The cucumber with morokyu and tataki were both delicious. The potato salad was a hidden gem. The meat sandwiched in fried tofu was a hit! I don't have a photo, but the omelette rice was a big hit too! They seem to be open until late at night, so I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

After work with colleagues. We decided to go a bit further from GINZA SIX as we might run into acquaintances nearby. The place looked fancy but not too expensive. It's probably more cost-effective compared to Shinbashi. The atmosphere of the restaurant seemed to suit the word "elegant". It felt a bit intimidating to walk in without a reservation (considering it's in Ginza), so we were led to a private room by the entrance. The complimentary dish was a simmered liver, quite surprising to have meat served right from the start. The standout dish was the large skewered meatball with shiso on top. It was firm and refreshing, thanks to the shiso, making it easy to devour. The tail meat was also delicious, shiny and juicy. I was delighted to see natto omelette on the menu. I never expected to eat that in such a place. The menu selection wasn't extensive, but everything was undeniably delicious. There were several items that I wanted to try, even if I wasn't in the mood for yakitori. It's a place where you can enjoy regardless of your mood, but be careful not to drink too much. As it's a restaurant in Ginza, you need to drink elegantly to avoid a hefty bill.

It had been a few years since my last visit... The taste hasn't changed at all. The chicken rice at the end was incredibly delicious!

A casual place that you can easily go to. The taste is okay, but it's nice that they are open until late in Ginza. Recommended dishes include "ginpi" (chicken gizzard skin) and "yaki nori kitsune no tsume" (thick fried tofu with dried baby sardines and green onion), among many other unique dishes.

I tried white liver for the first time and it was delicious. It was so good that I want to go back again, although they were out of stock at times.

I noticed the lunch menu posted on the wall of this restaurant on the first floor of a not-so-busy street. It's a yakitori place. They offer a variety of lunches, including the chicken nanban set. The side dishes like potato salad, chicken skin kinpira burdock, pickles, salad, and other small dishes are plentiful. The soup is piping hot. The chicken nanban was different from what I expected, it was quite strong in flavor, almost too intense for me. I should have gone with the chicken rice instead.
