Until last year, this restaurant was located in the Hibiya area. At the end of January, it moved and reopened with a new look. You can enjoy Typhoon Shelter cuisine here. This cuisine is a specialty of Hong Kong, where it was traditionally served in Typhoon Shelters, which are areas where boats take shelter during typhoons. The interior and the dishes in the restaurant are just like being in Hong Kong. The chef, Yamazaki, has experience at places like "Akasaka Rikyu" and is very skilled. He can also accommodate requests for specific dishes. On this day, I had a special course menu for 20,000 yen. Here is the content: 1. Ki Kee Special Grilled Meat - boiled chicken, barbecue pork, crispy pork, duck 2. Black Pepper Beef with Truffle and Abalone - luxurious pie with abalone, truffle, and Japanese beef 3. Nourishing Steamed Chicken with Fish Maw and Shark Fin - shark fin soup 4. Steamed Scallop with Lemon and Vermicelli - steamed scallop with lemon flavor 5. Typhoon Shelter Fried Oysters - chili garlic stir-fried oysters 6. Stir-Fried Kai Lan with Lap Cheong - stir-fried Kai Lan with homemade dried meat 7. Clay Pot Rice with Dried Octopus and Sausage 8. Ginger Flavored Milk Pudding - served with apricot liqueur and soda The day's menu featured high-quality ingredients, but the restaurant also excels in everyday Cantonese cuisine. Grilled dishes are a must-try. Since traveling abroad seems impossible for a while, I'll be visiting this Hong Kong-style restaurant in Ginza.

Today, I went to a girls' gathering once a month to eat Hong Kong dim sum. I have never been to Hong Kong before, so it was my first time having Hong Kong dim sum. We had a lunch course with 7 dishes in a private room, with 3 women catching up on each other's lives. The price was ¥3,300 (including tax). The pace of serving the dishes was a bit fast, but for us girls, 7 dishes were just the right amount and delicious. Personally, I really enjoyed the shrimp wonton noodles. The mung bean cold sweet soup was refreshing and nice. "Thank you for the meal."

Exit Melsa's restaurant floor was bustling with regulars and reserved customers right after opening, even on weekdays. I was able to enter as soon as they opened, so I decided to try their limited lunch set. I ordered the clay pot rice with an additional side of dim sum for an extra 300 yen. The dim sum included shrimp and chive dumplings, as well as quail egg siu mai, and they were delicious. The clay pot rice featured pork hamburger and white fish, served with greens on the side. It was topped with a thick and sweet Chinese sweet soy sauce, which added a unique flavor. The rice also had dried scallops, giving it a strong aroma. It was a delightful meal!

Recently, I was quite surprised by this restaurant. Located inside Ginza Exit Melsa, I had high expectations but was disappointed. The menu listed "Chinjyon" fish, so I ordered it, only to receive a small portion of mackerel. There wasn't much meat to eat, and I was quite disappointed. Thank you for the meal.

At noon on a regular day in Ginza, there is a long line of over 30 people at a well-established sukiyaki restaurant that a friend recommended. The day before, I had barbecue and was feeling a bit bloated, so I wanted something refreshing and decided to go to Kiki for their famous shrimp wanton noodles lunch set for 1400 yen. The ultra-thin noodles were crunchy, and the shrimp wantons were filled with plenty of minced shrimp, with four whole shrimp inside. The soup was light and had a hint of flavor and umami. They also served two types of dim sum: steamed shrimp and chive dumplings, and chewy pumpkin and meat dumplings. The pumpkin skin had a sweet taste, while the meat filling was spicy, which I enjoyed. I also added mung bean cold soup as a side dish. To finish, they served Chinese tea as a service, and the customer service was excellent. This is a great restaurant that is 95% female clientele, and I definitely want to go back again.

When you feel like eating Hong Kong noodles, this is the place to go. I have tried several places in Sangenjaya, including ShinKi, in search of Hong Kong noodles, but so far this place suits my taste the best. The dim sum set, as well as the dessert of watermelon and lemon jelly, were also good. The spicy seafood dishes, including the Typhoon Shelter cuisine that I had once in the evening, are unforgettable. The casual atmosphere and the attentive service from the staff make it a place I want to visit regularly.

We made a reservation for lunch and visited with our family of five. It is possible to make a lunch reservation a la carte. First, we had the Hong Kong Crispy Pork. The pork belly was crispy on the outside, and the meat was moist with a sweet flavor. The water spinach was delicious as well. The Roast Duck had a rich and firm meat flavor around the skin and bones. When topped with plum sauce, it had a refreshing taste. It was a different kind of deliciousness compared to Peking Duck. The stir-fried jumbo shrimp with chili and garlic was made with large shrimp fried with the shell, breadcrumbs, garlic, nuts, and spices, creating a fragrant flavor. Those with weak teeth need to be careful with the shrimp shells, haha. The dumpling skin was chewy and the filling was juicy. The slightly spicy and sweet sauce was a bit different and delicious. The most surprising dish was the tofu and salted fish hot pot. The salted fish seemed to be fermented, and the hot tofu absorbed its umami broth, which was very surprising. It had a slightly strong flavor that made you crave white rice. The soy sauce yakisoba and wonton noodles were consistently delicious. I liked the unique chewy texture of Hong Kong noodles. We were seated in a private room and the staff were very polite. They adjusted the volume of the dishes according to our group size, providing excellent service. We would love to visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had been looking forward to trying authentic Hong Kong cuisine for a while, so I made a reservation for lunch with my wife on a weekday. My wife chose the "Chili Garlic" dish, while I opted for the following: - Pork spare ribs with aged black vinegar sauce @ 2,000 yen (tax included) *Comes with rice and hot pot soup - Dim sum @ 300 yen The portion size was quite generous, with 6 pieces of pork meat in the spare ribs dish. The meat was tender and the black vinegar sauce was decent, but it didn't quite meet my expectations of true authentic flavor. I was hoping for a richer taste in the meat itself and a more exceptional sauce. The hot pot soup and dim sum were also a bit underwhelming. The quail shumai and shrimp and chive dumplings in the dim sum were the most delicious items. My wife's "Chili Garlic" dish had flavorful shrimp, but it wasn't as outstanding as expected. The restaurant was bright and clean, with a more casual atmosphere than I had imagined and slightly cramped seating. The service was very polite and attentive. Although the food didn't exceed my expectations, we were able to enjoy a leisurely meal. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Ginza EXITMELSA because I wanted to eat Hong Kong cuisine, so I made a reservation. I ordered the 8,000 yen Ki-ki course, and the quality of the food was excellent. I was pleased with the seasonal dishes such as dim sum made with corn. The Chinese tea was also delicious and paired well with the food. If I had to say something negative, it would be that the atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit ordinary for the price. It didn't have the special feeling I had seen on Tabelog beforehand. I think if there was a bit more luxury or special feeling, the satisfaction would be even greater. Of course, the food was undeniably delicious, so if you want to eat Hong Kong cuisine, definitely give it a try!

I visited the restaurant for lunch alone on a regular day (Wednesday) around 1:00 PM. The lunch comes with dim sum or dessert, and I chose dim sum. About 10 minutes after ordering, I was served "Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup". The shrimp in the wonton was minced and easy to eat, yet satisfying. The noodles were similar to the ones I had in Hong Kong a long time ago, nostalgic and delicious. The soup was also tasty, but as I have high blood pressure, I left a little bit... In terms of Ginza lunch, I am very satisfied with the cost performance!

I went to the restaurant on Saturday at noon without a reservation. Luckily, I was seated in a private room at the back, which made me happy. There were many menu options, but I finally made my choice. The photo is of the assorted appetizers. The liver in it was really delicious. It had no unpleasant taste, and I think it was marinated in Shaoxing wine. I could eat it forever. Haha, I want to take it home... haha. In addition, there was bitter melon dressed in salted duck eggs. I've never tasted anything like it before, so I can't describe the flavor, but it was a wonderful experience. The soup dumplings, spring rolls, and ramen were all delicious overall. By the way, if you ask for tea, they will bring you a whole pot. Thank you for the meal!

I am a huge fan of Hong Kong noodles and shrimp wontons, so I had to order this dish! The shrimp was incredibly plump and there were four of them, so luxurious - I could have eaten endless amounts. The noodles had a great texture and were delicious. The dim sum dishes were a white fish something and a shrimp and chive something. Both were authentic and tasty, and the herbal soup that came first was incredibly delicious! The winter melon in the soup was so tender, I wanted to ask for seconds if possible. Next time, I want to try a variety of dishes for dinner.

I made a reservation for Saturday at 11:30 am and ordered the Kiki lunch course. The appetizer came on a square plate with about 5 items, including char siu, chicken, bitter melon, bell peppers, and more. The meat was especially delicious, making me crave for some alcohol. Next, we had two types of steamed dim sum: quail egg shumai and chive and shrimp gyoza. They were plump and delicious. Then came the famous garlic chili prawns, with large prawns in crispy shells coated in spicy chili garlic sauce. It was irresistible. I ended up ordering a white liquor highball, which had a refreshing pineapple-like flavor. The steamed Hong Kong-style fish was tender and flavorful, a light and delicious dish that I could eat daily. The stir-fried vegetables were perfectly seasoned with oil and salt. The shrimp wonton noodles had a good balance of thin, curly noodles and plump shrimp wontons. It was a perfect ending to the meal. We had hot jasmine tea to cleanse our palate. The dessert, coconut milk with small tapioca and black rice, was creamy and delicious. The variety of dishes was satisfying, not too heavy, and well-balanced.

I went to a Hong Kong cuisine restaurant inside Melsa because I wanted to eat dim sum. I tried the dish recommended by the energetic Chinese staff, and it was delicious. The steamed bun with foie gras in pastry dough was incredibly tasty! It seems to be not crowded on weekday nights, so I plan to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

My family and I ordered the "Assorted Grilled Appetizers with Grilled Items (for 2-3 people) for 3,200 yen" at the restaurant. The staff kindly suggested making it a 2-person portion for 2,000 yen, which prevented us from arguing over who gets the third piece. We also ordered the "Mad Crab Chili Garlic Stir-Fry (6,600 yen~market price)" which was actually priced at 7,700 yen on the bill. The "Spicy Salt-Fried Squid," "Vegetables Simmered with Century Egg and Salted Egg," "Crab and Salmon Roe Hong Kong Clay Pot Rice," and "Shrimp Wonton Noodles" were all delicious. The only disappointment was that the Egg Tart we wanted to take home was sold out. Perhaps it's better to come for lunch next time. We might try focusing on dim sum on our next visit.

I hardly ate anything at Sanjuuya and left, so I came here with an empty stomach. I ordered the 1400 yen set, which was good value for money considering the nice interior and service. Although the cost performance is not great compared to Sanjuuya, it is reasonable for a Cantonese restaurant in Ginza like Merusa.

I love the shrimp wonton noodles that I have eaten a few times in Hong Kong, so I searched for a place in Kanto where I could enjoy them. I visited this restaurant because it had high ratings. I reserved a lunch course that included the shrimp wonton noodles. The course included: - Today's appetizer - Clay pot rice (additional) - Special steamed dumplings - Stir-fried shrimp with chili and garlic - Steamed fish in a Hong Kong style steamer - Stir-fried Chinese vegetables - Shrimp wonton noodles - Dessert: egg tart (additional) The shrimp wonton noodles were quite close to the taste of Hong Kong! The firmness of the noodles and the soup were perfect, but I wish the size and texture of the shrimp could have been a bit better. I still have a journey ahead to find my ideal shrimp wonton noodles. #Kids Friendly

I wanted to try authentic flavors without going to Hong Kong, so I visited this restaurant. The taste of the dishes here felt like they were not altered to cater to Japanese preferences, which can be seen as both good and bad. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Personally, I enjoyed the shrimp dumplings, shrimp and pork shumai, Hong Kong home-style soup, shrimp wonton noodles, and Hong Kong-style fried noodles. However, I felt that the restaurant may not appeal to Japanese tastes overall. The restaurant was not very spacious but had a decent number of customers during my visit. While I had a good time, I found that none of the dishes had a standout quality.

I have been to the restaurant before it moved, so this time I visited its new location. They serve authentic Cantonese cuisine with rich flavors. The shrimp stir-fry was delicious, with plenty of homemade fried garlic on top. The clams stir-fry, BBQ pork buns, and assorted appetizers were all of high quality, reminiscent of upscale Cantonese cuisine.

The taste was average. The prices are a bit high. Especially the main dish, the portion and taste were not outstanding, but the price was double compared to regular restaurants, which was a bit surprising. The yakisoba took a very long time to come out, almost forgotten, so when I asked, they said it would be out soon, which made me doubt it.

Visited around 12:10 on a weekday for the Shrimp Wonton Noodle priced at 1400 yen. There were people waiting on chairs outside the restaurant, with 4 groups ahead on the waiting list. After waiting for about 20 minutes, we were seated inside. The restaurant had 2-person and 4-person table seats, as well as private and semi-private rooms. The lunch menu included 5 types of noodle and rice sets, 2 lunch sets, and 2 Premium lunch sets. I ordered the highly recommended Shrimp Wonton Noodle and chose dessert. Soon, we were served with herbal soup and pickled vegetables. The soup had a soy sauce base with ingredients like carrots, pumpkin, chicken, and greens, offering a complex yet light flavor. After 8 minutes, the Shrimp Wonton Noodle arrived, with 4 plump shrimp wontons that exuded a shrimp aroma. The wonton skin was soft and the soup had a gentle, savory taste that complemented the thin noodles perfectly. The dessert, Tapioca Mango Coconut Milk, was rich in mango flavor and delicious.
