When it comes to Tennozu Isle, it's known as the gateway to the airport. There aren't many shops or houses in the area, but I had heard that there is a good French restaurant there. For our wedding anniversary, a friend took us there in February. The restaurant, MAMI, is located about a 5-minute walk from Tennozu Isle Station, right next to the prominent Pon Juice sign that you often see when riding the monorail. The restaurant is small but cozy, with a courtyard that adds a spacious feel. The tables are well-spaced, allowing for a relaxed dining experience without feeling crowded. Although I don't remember the details of the dishes, they were all beautifully presented with a gentle and festive touch that evoked the arrival of spring. The flavors may cater more towards those who enjoy alcohol. The mushroom potage had a wonderful aroma and was delicious! The main dish of sautéed beef fillet came with a large, tender oyster on top. Even after cooking, the oyster remained big and soft. While we were treated to this meal, I believe the course menu is priced at 6,500 yen, offering good value for the generous portions. At the neighboring table, there were several gentlemen in suits, possibly having a business dinner. This location seems convenient for dining before catching a flight. As it was a celebration, we were also served a celebratory dessert after the sorbet. The fruit garnishes were gorgeous, and the chocolate cake was delicious. It's a lovely restaurant to visit for a special occasion!

Haneda Airport is nearby, and the landmark is a large sign for Pon Juice. A friend used to go to this shop when it was in Kamata, so they recommended it to me for our anniversary. The restaurant is in a house, so there are not many seats, but the space is spacious and the atmosphere is very cozy and calm, as it seems to be run by a husband and wife. You can order a la carte or course meals. We opted for the course on this day, and the dishes were delicious. I forgot to take pictures of some of the dishes because they were so good. Although not flashy, I could tell that the dishes were carefully prepared. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went on a little expedition to Haneda. It's around the area of Tenkuu Bridge where I used to often come to play by the river on my bicycle when I was a child. The restaurant is located just below the sign of Pon Juice. It's called Petit Restaurant Mami. My friend's company is nearby, and they told me about it. It's about a 5-minute walk from Tenkuu Bridge Station. There's nothing in front of the station, only the Pon Juice sign as a landmark. But it's still easy to find. The restaurant recently moved from Kamata and transformed into a standalone house restaurant. It's still new and sparkling. I believe the space in front of the store is a parking lot for 2 cars. Please confirm by phone. Today's order was a course where you can enjoy both lobster and beef fillet. It costs 6500 yen. Getting both main dishes at this price, even in full portions, is reasonable. The contents include spinach Bavarois and duck confit with pumpkin potage cappuccino style, lobster and scallop poêlé, and grilled beef fillet or grilled young chicken shaslik style, seasonal fruits and cold sweets, bread, coffee, and small sweets. We ate slowly and chatted, and before we knew it, 3 hours had passed. It's very luxurious to have only 20 seats in a spacious standalone house. They mentioned that they are conscious of barrier-free design to ensure that wheelchair users can enjoy their meals comfortably. The food was satisfying in taste and portion, and you can strongly feel their desire to please the customers. Especially, the chef cooking in the open kitchen looked so happy and lovely. They used such a large amount of lobster, it made me worry if it's okay. The beef fillet, the main dish, had a generous portion and was cooked perfectly. It was tender, juicy, and didn't release juices until you chew, which is my ideal finish. I was full and satisfied. Since the station is close, it's quick once you get on the train. The harsh scenery of Haneda brings back nostalgic memories for me. It's a good story that there's such a warm restaurant in Haneda.
