I bought a yuzu salt ramen and seared chashu rice ticket from a vending machine that only accepts cashless payments. I used my Pasmo card to pay for the set which cost 1890 yen. The ramen had a delicious yuzu-flavored soup, while the chashu rice was refreshing with grated daikon radish. Although it was a bit pricey, the meal was satisfying.

I ordered the yuzu salt ramen. It was a bit pricey at 1290 yen including tax, but it came with seasoned egg, seared chashu, seaweed, bamboo shoots, and watercress. The seasoned egg was half-cooked. The ramen had a rich flavor for a salt-based broth, with a strong yuzu aroma and taste. The noodles were thin. It was served quickly, probably because it was not crowded around 4 pm, and I enjoyed it. It made me feel like I treated myself to a little luxury.

This restaurant is open until morning only on Fridays and Saturdays, so it's a great place to enjoy ramen without feeling guilty. The plum and light soup make it easy to eat. It's delicious to break up the plum while eating. It was a bit disappointing that there was no extra plum available. Adding toppings can make the price quite high, which is a downside.笑

I visited a ramen restaurant called "AFURI Roppongi Intersection" around 1:00 pm on a holiday in August 2023. It is located about a 2-minute walk from Roppongi Station. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with about 7-8 customers already inside. I purchased a "Mori (regular)" ramen for ¥1,090 and a "Bonito Flakes and Sesame Rice" for ¥540 from the ticket machine. The prices seemed a bit high overall. I sat at the counter seat alone and presented my food ticket. Many of the customers were of Asian descent. After a 10-minute wait, my food was served. The ramen was served with a dipping sauce containing sesame and green onions, topped with shredded seaweed, and a generous amount of bonito flakes on the rice. The portion of noodles for the "Mori" was quite small for ¥1,090. The dipping sauce had a delicious sweet and savory soy sauce flavor, complementing the smooth texture of the noodles. The combination was well thought out and of high quality, with a Japanese twist. The "Bonito Flakes and Sesame Rice" was a delightful dish with fluffy bonito flakes and green onions on top of seasoned rice. It was the best quality rice dish I had ever tasted. I alternated between the simple ramen and the rice dish, savoring the flavors of AFURI. Despite feeling that the prices were too high, I was satisfied with the taste. The location at Roppongi Intersection attracted a diverse crowd, including some questionable individuals. The eclectic atmosphere added to the dining experience at this restaurant.

I visited "AFURI" for the first time in a while on Saturday afternoon. Today's order was the summer limited edition "Chilled Yuzu Salt Noodles (made with whole grain flour noodles)". It was refreshing and very delicious! I also had a Premium Malt's "Yuzu Scented Ale" with it.

I ordered the limited-time cold noodles. The yuzu jelly? and the noodles were cold, but the soup was not quite as chilled as I had hoped. I prefer a bit more acidity when it's hot, but overall, it was visually beautiful and delicious!

I always used to eat cup ramen from Seven Eleven. I don't often go to the city center, so I didn't have the opportunity to go, but I came to Roppongi this time, so I visited a ramen shop. The soup was gentle and easy on the stomach. I thought it was a comforting ramen, but at the end, there was a hidden flavor of burnt garlic. It was delicious. I even finished all the soup. Thank you for the meal.

Ramen born from the pure natural water of Mount Afuri. The chewy vacuum kneaded noodles with seafood broth are addictive. The appetizing char siu is seared over charcoal for each order, with a refreshing yuzu aroma. The small side dishes served alongside are also hidden gems. AFURI is a meticulously crafted dining experience down to the smallest details!

It's been quite a while since my last visit. The first time I tried it, the taste was too light and didn't suit me. Even after trying it a few more times, I didn't find it delicious each time. However, today, I finally thought it might be delicious for the first time. Maybe my taste buds have changed, as I found the delicate flavor of the ramen to be delicious. Of course, I still prefer ramen with a strong, impactful flavor. Personally, I prefer a slightly stronger taste, but once in a while, AFURI might be good too. However, the cost performance is not very good. Considering its location in Roppongi, the price is reasonable, but it's not a taste I love and it's on the expensive side, so it might be a while before I come back. It's a plus that they accept electronic money.

A stable, light, moist, and deliciously gentle ramen. There are days when you want to eat this kind of ramen, right? Instead of the usual yuzu salt or yuzu soy sauce, this time it was ramen topped with plum. It went down smoothly like ochazuke. The egg topping is always a must, but it might have been good to order something else as well.

The yuzu salt ramen here is always refreshing and guilt-free! There are many foreign tourists and the staff are also foreigners, but they provide smooth and efficient service, making you feel at ease while dining. The thin noodles made with whole wheat flour give a unique soba-like texture that I enjoy. I usually prefer chicken chashu, but the pork flame-grilled chashu is also delicious.

At the intersection of Giroppon, opting for the set menu (1890 yen) is 130 yen cheaper than ordering each item separately. The combination of "Yuzu Salt Ramen" (1290 yen) and "Seared Char Siu Rice" (730 yen) shines brightly with a golden hue. The refreshing scent of yuzu spreads through the light and clear soup, making it a reliable choice. The soup is made by carefully simmering selected ingredients such as domestic chicken, seafood, and aromatic vegetables in natural water from Afuri Mountain. The healthy ultra-thin noodles are a perfect match for the soup, made from finely ground whole wheat and rye. Personally, I prefer them on the firmer side. The toppings include meticulously seared char siu and a perfectly soft-boiled egg. The perfect companion is the "Seared Char Siu Rice," with juicy seared char siu placed on top of the rice.

I went for a second bowl of ramen after having a satisfying bowl of ramen, but before I knew it, I had finished eating it. The noodles can be customized in terms of thickness. I ordered the salt ramen for a nice finish.

Even though I eat ramen a lot, I haven't been to any super famous shops. I remember trying to go to a shop in Harajuku before but gave up because the line was too long. I visited the shop after drinking on Saturday! I was torn between soy sauce and salt, but I ended up choosing soy sauce. It had a gentle flavor. It was just delicious. It may not be satisfying for junk food lovers, but it was good. I also want to try the salt flavor. It was quite crowded even late at night. Maybe it's just me, but there were a lot of foreign visitors, probably because of the location.

It's been a while since I went on a ramen adventure with the Ramen Team. I tried the Yuzu Shio Ramen, which had a beautiful presentation. The noodles were very thin and straight, similar to somen noodles, providing a decent chew when eaten in bunches. The light and refreshing soup was hard to resist, with a nice balance of yuzu flavor. You can choose the type of chashu at the ticket machine, and I enjoyed the slightly charred taste, although it was a bit tough to chew. However, the price was a bit high, over 1000 yen. The spoon provided was too large, making it difficult to scoop up the remaining soup towards the end, which was disappointing. Thank you for the meal.

AFURI is a ramen restaurant that I visited in Lisbon, Portugal during a solo trip. When I felt like having Japanese food, I went to AFURI in Lisbon, which also served Japanese cuisine. I thought I would like to try it in Japan someday, so when I had some business in Roppongi, I stopped by. Just as the name suggests, it's right near Roppongi crossing. It's a small shop. I ordered the famous yuzu salt ramen and chashu rice bowl set. The ramen had a refreshing soup that I liked. But more than that, the chashu rice bowl was delicious. The rolled roast pork chashu was plentiful, and topped with plenty of grated daikon radish. Despite the volume, it was also refreshing.

Located right near the Roppongi intersection, AFURI is a famous ramen shop that also offers cup ramen. There are two locations in Roppongi, including one in Roppongi Hills. The interior has only counter seating for about 20 people, and orders are placed using a ticket system. - Yuzu Shio Ramen (1,290 yen): AFURI's most famous ramen. It has a clear and refreshing soup with a hint of yuzu fragrance, making it a very refreshing bowl. The soup is so good that you might find yourself finishing it all. - Aburi Char Siu Rice Bowl (730 yen): A rice bowl topped with aburi (torched) char siu and grated yuzu soy sauce. The char siu and sauce complement each other perfectly, making the dish incredibly delicious. Perhaps due to its location in Roppongi, the shop is open until early morning on weekends and is reportedly open year-round without any holidays. It's a great option to consider when in need.

AFURI near the Roppongi intersection. Visited for dinner. I had been to the one in Hills before, but this was my first visit here. It's a completely cashless system where you buy from the ticket machine. There were quite a few foreign customers struggling with it. It had been a while, so I went with the simple Yuzu Shio ramen. It came with a small red and white mochi, is it because it's a limited-time offer for the new year? I finished it quickly as it was consistently delicious. Oh, they don't have a large size, so if you're really hungry, you'll have to go for the tsukemen or order a rice bowl set! ===========

Was there this much garlic in it? Even though it's soy sauce ramen... AFURI is synonymous with no chemical seasonings, right? Is it just my taste buds? It was a garlic soy sauce ramen with a strong punch. As always, I don't think watercress goes well with it. Thank you for the meal.

Yuzu Salt Ramen 1,180 yen I thought it would be a lightly salted ramen with a hint of yuzu, but the yuzu aroma was surprisingly strong. The salt flavor is not just mild, it has a strong taste. The noodles are quite thin, but firm, so they have a satisfying texture. You can choose between seared chashu or chicken chashu. The seared chashu is delicious. The texture of the menma is different from other places, it retains the crunchy texture of bamboo shoots. The light menma texture goes well with the salt ramen. I didn't get tired of it until the end, it was a wonderful salt ramen. By the way, payment at this store is only electronic money. Oh, I thought the shop's sign was cute.
