Dominica has its main shop in Sapporo, and branches in Ginza and Shinjuku in Tokyo. There is also another shop called Yellow in Ginza, which is a sister store. It's been about 5 years since I last visited Dominica in Ginza. I had the Special Chicken Curry with the original medium-spicy soup. The rice was regular (you can get a large portion for free during lunch). The rice was turmeric rice. The soup curry had tender chicken leg, 8 kinds of vegetables, and a half-cooked egg. The soup was thin but rich, as expected from a specialty shop from Sapporo. The bell peppers and potatoes were deep-fried, giving a nice texture. The spiciness was just right. I didn't have to wait to get in today, but usually there is a line because the space is small. I would like to try the tomato soup next time.

The soup had a flavorful broth similar to curry udon, and we enjoyed it. The vegetables included large-cut carrots, potatoes, onions, baby corn, and more. The chicken was tender and well-cooked, but the vegetables like onions still had some crunch, which could be a point of preference for some. The egg was boiled to a firm texture. It seemed like the menu's description of a soft-boiled egg was different... When we left, there was a line of 7-8 people waiting to be seated.
