I bought chocolates from the historic chocolatier Orangette in Belgium, which is about a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station. The chocolates have a coating of orange peel and are not too sweet, making them delicious, but they might be more suited for adults. They also have chocolate soft-serve ice cream, which I would like to try next time.

I had been curious about the soft serve ice cream sculpture displayed outside for a while. Finally, I was able to go with some colleagues! As soon as I opened the door, the scent of chocolate filled the air, making me feel happy. Inside, there were two seats for dining in. The chocolate soft serve had a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness, with a smooth texture that was absolutely delicious. I realized that this is what they mean by "chocolate soft serve." Next time, I want to try their bonbon chocolat or praline chocolates as well!

After finishing lunch on a hot day, it's time for a cold dessert. The first popular Japanese sweets shop was closed, and the second one had a long line, so I returned to this place. The shop is compact with the register and showcase right by the entrance, with only two seats. I was interested in the Ebisu store exclusive parfait, but I ended up choosing the Chocolat Noir for 360 yen (tax included). You can choose between a cone and a cup, but I chose a cup for takeout considering the heat. It started to melt quickly when I took it outside to take a photo! The taste was rich and smooth, with a good mouthfeel, but since it's Belgian chocolate, it was quite sweet. I prefer when the cocoa flavor is more pronounced. Leonidas chocolates are easy to eat and on the sweeter side, so it was like having soft serve straight from a chocolate specialty shop. The price was reasonable for a chocolate specialty store, but the taste was a bit monotonous, and I got a little tired of it towards the end. Maybe I should have tried the various options in the Ebisu store exclusive parfait instead?

I bought some snacks to go. They sold chocolate by weight, so I chose a premium flavor waffle to try. I selected the Chocolat Orangette flavor for 280 yen, along with Janduja for 280 yen, Plain for 180 yen, and seasonal flavors like Chocolat Raisin and Domestic Apple for 180 yen each. I warmed the waffle in a toaster at home to recreate the freshly made crispy texture. It was not too crispy, but had a chewy texture. The chocolate melted and blended nicely with the dough. The chocolate flavor wasn't overpowering, and the subtle flavor of Orangette was pleasant. However, I wished there was a bit more of it. Overall, it was a refined waffle with a chewy texture that allowed you to taste the ingredients of the dough.

Near the restaurant where I had lunch. Currently, eating in is not allowed. You can purchase items and eat while walking. The shop specializes in Belgian chocolates, with branches in Ginza and Omotesando. Instead of the typical chocolate souvenirs, I opted for soft serve ice cream. There are several flavors available, but they all come with a different macaron on top. I chose pistachio. Looking back, pistachio is better suited for gelato, and I'm not a big fan of macarons, so a regular cone may have been a better choice. The cup option also includes a chocolate cookie. In one word, the ice cream is rich. It's very intense and sweet. It might have been too much after a meal... it made my throat dry and stomach feel full. The regular soft serve is reasonably priced in the 300 yen range, so it would be enjoyable if not consumed after a meal. It's creamy and has a nice aroma. It's best enjoyed slowly, savoring each lick, especially when you're a bit hungry. Don't forget to have some tea ready.

It was hot today, wasn't it? In times like this, shaved ice or ice cream is the way to go. So, I stopped by here during my walk in Ebisu Day. Unfortunately, they are not allowing dine-in at the moment. I was only able to take photos inside and then ate while walking. Pistachio Chocolate Parfait for 580 yen. I really love their chocolate here. If I were a man, receiving this chocolate on Valentine's Day would definitely seal the deal with that girl! Haha. Can't wait for the day when dine-in is allowed again. It was delicious. Thank you.

I visited a shop that I had been curious about during my walk around the Yamanote Line with GW. What surprised me the most was the extremely poor customer service I have encountered in recent years. Perhaps it was because I looked tired in my hoodie and jeans. Thanks to that, the chocolate ice cream that should have tasted delicious felt no different from the Belgian chocolate soft serve at Mini Stop. (On the contrary, Mini Stop is amazing) In conclusion, I felt a little scared that you might be looked down upon if you don't dress properly at this Ebisu shop. The attitude of the staff left a stronger impression than the taste of the ice cream, so I will not be visiting again. This must be fate. Thank you for the meal.

Actually, I'm not a big fan of chocolate.. Yes, but even so, I sometimes buy and eat at this shop here~♪ Hmm, to all the chocolate lovers out there, I'm sorry for being a tasteless person. No, no, how should I put it, I feel like chocolate is a food with a ceiling on deliciousness.. What can I say, even though I know there are extremely delicious chocolates out there. However, even cheap chocolate is somewhat tasty. The difference is minimal in my opinion.. Unlike other ingredients' arrangements, chocolate seems to be limited to its unique arrangement, and I don't have high expectations for chocolate. Well, who cares! Just say it's delicious if it's delicious!! For those who say that, there are definitely delicious chocolates that won't disappoint. I'll mention the name here, but without a doubt, it's cheaper and tastier than GODIVA!

At Leonidas Ebisu store, they have a luxurious soft serve called "Chocolat Noir" made with the finest cocoa from Sao Tome. It has a slightly bitter taste that really brings out the deliciousness of chocolate. Truly living up to being a chocolate shop that is appointed by the Belgian royal family. ✨

I visited in search of delicious chocolate soft serve ice cream. The shop had only 2 eat-in seats, and it seemed like most customers preferred take-out. I decided to try the "Chocolat Parfait" with macarons and baked goods on top. You can choose from three flavors of macarons: raspberry, pistachio, and mandarin. I chose pistachio, and my companion chose raspberry. Since there was an available eat-in seat, we decided to enjoy our treats there. It was cash only for the soft serve ice cream. The parfait came in a cup about the size of a small drink, filled generously. I started by tasting the pointy top of the soft serve ice cream, which had a rich cocoa flavor with a hint of bitterness. The cream was dense and melted slowly in the mouth, with a smooth texture. The aftertaste left a lingering bitterness, making it a sophisticated chocolate soft serve. The macarons had a crunchy texture, with a sticky cream inside that had a nutty pistachio flavor. The raspberry macaron was sweeter and stickier in comparison. The chocolate baked goods were like crispy chocolate cookies with a nutty crunch, adding a fun element to the treat. Underneath the soft serve ice cream, there were finely crushed feuilletine for a crunchy texture that paired well with the chocolate soft serve. Overall, it was a delicious and classic chocolate soft serve ice cream experience. Thank you for the meal!

This is a chocolate shop located about a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station. I ordered a chocolate ice cream, which had a very rich and good-looking color. You can choose between a cup and a cone, but since it was a scorching hot day, I opted for a cup. The taste was like eating pure chocolate in ice cream form. It was as rich as it looked, with a sophisticated sweetness that is recommended for adult women.

Feeling tired and stressed, I decided to treat myself and my colleagues to some chocolate. We went to the same place as last time and I was planning on getting the Chocolat Noir, but ended up being tempted by the Pistachio flavor. I love pistachios, so I went for the Chocolat Parfait with pistachio. It was a rich chocolate parfait with a pistachio accent, giving it a slightly bitter taste. The Carre Chocolat Macaron was also a hit, a sophisticated dessert that was elegantly sweet and delicious. Definitely a treat for yourself to try!

Second visit. The first post was just a photo. Belgian chocolatier "Leonidas." The brand was established by Greek confectioner Leonidas Kestekides in the early 1900s. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in overseas chocolatiers and flagship stores, such as "Yugo & Vitor," "Bubo Barcelona," and "Michalak." While these new stores exude luxury, Leonidas maintains its traditional charm. The prices are not incredibly cheap, but they are relatively affordable for everyday use. They have expanded mainly in the Kanto region, but for some reason, they are hardly found in department stores, mostly in street shops. The Ebisu store is also a street shop, located at a good spot near Ebisu station. However, the store is quite narrow, only fitting a few people. Their main product is bonbon chocolates, which are sold individually by weight. The Ebisu store also offers seating for eating in, despite the limited space. They also have a chocolate soft serve limited to Ebisu, which is definitely worth trying. Below are the items I tried: Chocolat Parfait Marjan: A bitter adult parfait with a rich and intense chocolate flavor. Bonbon Chocolates (8 pieces): 1. Manon Cafe: Coffee-flavored fresh cream with whole hazelnuts coated in white chocolate. 2. Limada: Dark chocolate ganache coated in dark chocolate with cocoa nibs on top. 3. Duet: Strawberry ganache with dark balsamic vinegar flavor coated in bitter chocolate. 4. Mushroom: Mushroom-shaped white chocolate filled with salted caramel cream. 5. Marquis de Champagne: Brandy-scented white and milk chocolate ganache. 6. Fruits de Mer: Belgian seafood-shaped chocolate with a soft praline inside. 7. Festive Hall: Blue hazelnut paste coated in dark chocolate. 8. Manon: Dark disc-shaped chocolate topped with nuts and dried fruits. Waffle: Pear waffle with diced pears inside. The waffle is soft with a rich buttery flavor. It may not be extremely unique, but it's perfect for a little luxury treat. Thank you for the meal!
