I had the tamago ramen with fried rice set. I requested the noodles to be firm and extra green onions. Be careful when adding the chili pepper provided on the table, even a small amount can make it quite spicy. The spiciness can become addictive, so I find myself adding more each time I visit. The fried rice set comes with half a portion of fried rice for an additional 250 yen. The fried rice is dark in color and has a strong flavor. I visited on a Saturday around 1:30 pm and there was a line outside. However, the turnover at the counter was quick, so I only had to wait for about 5 minutes before being seated.

I uploaded the promised Raikairou fried rice. It is a Kyoto-style fried rice, but in Raikairou's menu, it is mainly offered as an option with ramen, so ordering it on its own can feel a bit awkward. Today, I tried the Kimchi fried rice instead of the regular one. It had chopped kimchi mixed in, and the spicy kick of the kimchi surprisingly added a delicious twist to the dish. It wasn't ramen, but it was still a satisfying meal.

The taste is 3.0, and the remaining 1.0 is the enthusiasm of the staff haha. It's a lively place where you feel energized. Both the young staff and the staff serving in the back are full of energy! It's a local Chinese restaurant where everything is good in a positive way. I like the Benkei-Jiro style, so I made a special trip to eat here. Despite being far from the station, it's always bustling. The soy sauce base and amount of lard are just right, and they even offer free rice service during lunch, which is appreciated by the common folk. The fried rice was cooked perfectly, and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch was at Ra Ra Tei, where I ordered the rich ramen with a seasoned egg topping and a side of small rice. I requested the noodles to be firm. As expected, the perfect balance of the soup's richness and spiciness made the rice go down smoothly. It's a simple yet delicious dish that never disappoints. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Kyoto-style ramen powerhouse, Rairai-tei, has been on a streak of showcasing their wonton ramen lately. Today, after much deliberation, I ended up ordering the wonton ramen once again. I really wanted to try their dark soy sauce-colored fried rice, but I lacked the courage to order it as a standalone dish, so I ended up with the wonton ramen. Next time, let's muster up the courage to try the Kyoto-style fried rice for sure.

Known as the king of Kyoto-style ramen, RaRaTei's summer limited menu, cold noodles. Toppings are simply cucumber, chashu, and seaweed. Served in a metal bowl, it has a cool appearance. It's quite different from the usual Kyoto-style ramen, but it might be a good menu to get through the hot summer. Thank you for the meal.

After struggling to choose a ramen place after drinking, I ended up choosing Kura Tei for the first time in a while. As I get older, I can't eat as much, but I really wanted to have half fried rice with my ramen, so I ordered a small rich ramen and half fried rice! It had been a while, but the flavorful soup and fried rice were really delicious!

This is a Kyoto-originated ramen chain located along the Shin-Aome street. The restaurant has a smartphone app where you can earn 1 point for each bowl of ramen you order. Every 20, 40, and 60 points, you can receive two 500 yen coupons, and when you accumulate 80 points, you get a one-month free coupon. On the 5th, 15th, and 25th of each month, the points are multiplied by 1.5. In April and May 2020, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, I reached 80 points and managed to achieve perfect attendance by visiting every day for 30 days with the one-month free coupon. Today, as it's very hot, I ordered the cold noodles for 850 yen. I opted for spicy when ordering, and the noodles were coated in spicy sauce with a soy sauce-based dressing with clams. It was topped with shredded chashu, cucumber, and a generous amount of chopped seaweed. It's the perfect dish for a hot day.

After finishing a meeting in Kawagoe, we decided to stop by at a ramen restaurant near the Kanetsu Expressway exit for a quick meal before heading back. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a cozy atmosphere with a total of 4 customers, including us. We ordered two bowls of ramen (770 yen each) and our food arrived promptly in about 4 minutes. The ramen looked delicious with plenty of pork back fat floating on the surface, along with three slices of chashu, menma, and a generous amount of green onions. The soup had a rich and flavorful taste, while the noodles were thin and cooked just right. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

"Ra-ra-tei Musashiseki (Tokyo) Ramen 770 yen is delicious! Thin noodles with a spicy touch, animal back fat, rich soy sauce, slightly summer-like flavor. The surface of the noodles is coated with sauce. Located at 7-23-10 Ishigami-dai, Nerima-ku, open from 11:00 to 24:00, closed on holidays. 15 counter seats, 24 table seats." #KyotoRamen #MusashisekiRamen #RamenRamen196

I consider the Wantan Men at RaRaTei to be a branch off the main stream of Wantan Men, as it features Wantan as a topping in the Kyoto style. It has become one of my favorite dishes. The combination of green onions, back fat, and Wantan topping is excellent, and before I knew it, I found myself eating it quite frequently. Today, I ordered extra green onions again.

I had always longed to visit Raitei, and when I heard there was one in Tokyo, I walked for over an hour to get there. I ordered the thick ramen with firm noodles and pork shabu-shabu. The pickled plums are all-you-can-eat, so I had 6 pieces. There is no garlic on the table, so please ask the staff for some.

I don't have much time but I want to eat a hearty meal, and I missed lunchtime... so I decided to visit Rairaitei for the first time in a few years. I arrived around 3 pm. It seemed like I missed the lunch rush because there were only 2 parking spaces left. The tatami seating area was almost full, but there were a few empty seats at the counter. Looking at the menu, it seemed like things had changed... well, it's been about 5 years since my last visit. There were no lunch sets, just an all-day menu. I ordered the rich ramen set (with gyoza and half fried rice). I specified my preferences for firm noodles, strong flavor, less oil, and extra green onions. The fried rice came first, followed by the ramen and then the gyoza. I adjusted the spiciness using the shichimi and pepper on the table. I also enjoyed the flavorful fried rice. It was a nice visit after a long time, and I still love the junky atmosphere of Rairaitei. They have a lottery event on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of this month!

The familiar wonton noodles from Lai Lai Tei. With extra green onions and a rich broth, this Kyoto-style wonton noodles differ slightly from the Tokyo-style, but the combination works well. I will continue to cherish Lai Lai Tei's wonton noodles as one of the Kyoto-style menu options.

I always end up ordering the fried rice set because I crave the dark soy sauce Kyoto-style fried rice. Even though I could just order the fried rice on its own, I feel compelled to order the set out of respect for the ramen chef who clearly puts his heart into his craft. I love Kyoto-style ramen as well, so it's not a problem for me. However, I do worry about consuming too many calories. I'll have to go easy on dinner tonight, that's for sure.

At 4:00 pm on a regular day, there was no line. I ordered the ramen with extra green onions for 770 yen. It arrived in about three minutes. There is a Marugen Ramen just a little further ahead, where ramen is priced at 759 yen. They also offer various sets at even lower prices. I can't help but compare the two. I wish one of them had something better.

We always use it with our family. It's child-friendly, which is very helpful. We always eat the Negi Ramen, which has a huge amount of green onions, haha. The gyoza is also delicious! They have a wide variety of menu options and it seems like you can also have drinks. I want to try the maze-soba style next time, but they don't serve it during lunch so I want to try it at night next time.

Ramen at Rairai-tei is a favorite of mine, with its unique twist on Tokyo-style ramen. The noodles are topped with a generous amount of back fat and wontons, making it a delicious and satisfying meal. Another great dining experience, as always.

I will upload my usual wonton noodles. Although the wonton noodles at Rairaitei are not the typical Kanto-style wonton noodles, I have come to love this dish after trying various places. I always order it with the optional green onion topping and have the noodles cooked firm, which has become my go-to order. Today, I enjoyed it just like always.

It's my first visit for lunch. Located on the uphill side of Ome Kaido in Nerima-ku, Ishigamidai, it's about a 10-minute walk north from Seibu Shinjuku Line's Musashiseki Station. The menu features a "Rich Ramen" for 820 yen as a specialty, but I found the "Curry Ramen" for 920 yen and decided to order that. The "Curry Ramen" came in a shallow but slightly large bowl with "Chashu," "Menma," and green onions on top. The soup had a moderate thickness, not too thick or thin, with a good amount of spiciness and richness. When ordering, they asked if I wanted to add red pepper, but there was a sign saying "All our ramen comes with red pepper" so I declined. The noodles were described as "thick noodles" on the menu, and they were mostly straight and thick, with a texture I enjoyed. Overall, the "Curry Ramen" was delicious and recommended for curry ramen lovers. It tasted better than expected. They also have a "Cheese Curry Ramen" on the menu, which I would like to try if I have the chance. Listed as a place where you can eat delicious "Curry Ramen" in Tokyo.
