Hello. I'm the self-proclaimed Curry King. December 9th. Have you ever thought about someone you want to be embraced by? I have thought about around 5000 ladies saying "Embrace me!" but none of them embraced me. But if you keep wishing for it, the time will eventually come. Today, I successfully infiltrated a restaurant that I wanted to visit, based on the curry images I saw on Instagram, called "Gochamaze Cafe Mem". They have two types of daily curry - Pork Liver Curry and Albacore Tuna Curry. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very relaxed and has a cozy, homely feel. There is a notebook for customers to exchange messages, they are currently constructing a kids' space, and the casual and friendly service adds to the homely feel. As for the curry, it is simply beautiful as you can see from the photos. This is because the owner, who is also a film director, doesn't underestimate the power of visuals, design, and communication. The toppings for the spice curry are all artistically presented. The Pork Liver curry has a strong clove flavor, while the Albacore Tuna curry seems to use mustard. The rice is mixed grain, and the pickle ingredients include dragon fruit, making it healthy and creative. It's more like a work of art expressing the owner's worldview through a curry dish. The cafe's wonderful curry shows that they spare no effort in its preparation. Due to the one-man operation, the service may take a bit longer, so relax and enjoy the lovely atmosphere while waiting with a cup of their own roasted coffee. Their Butter Coffee is really delicious. It has a good aroma, creamy texture, and rich taste. I'm not familiar with coffee, so I can't explain it further. The owner used to work at a movie theater and a coffee shop in Shinjuku, and dreamt of becoming a film director someday. In the midst of those days, they met the second-generation owner of this cafe and were asked if they wanted to run a cafe. That's how the owner of "Gochamaze Cafe Mem" started. As mentioned earlier, they now run the cafe while also working on film production and directing. I did a little research on them and found out that they focus on documentary films about eating disorders and films with strong messages, which is very interesting. In other words, the owner is currently fulfilling the dream they once had of becoming a film director. So, what I want to say today is simple. The desire to be embraced by someone will come true.
