After hearing a recommendation from a drinking buddy, I decided to visit Yamakawa. I tried the tongue salt, harami, yukhoe, nakaochi kalbi, kimchi, jidori, and cartilage, and all of them were delicious! I had a hard time choosing between the mountain-sized Yamakawa salad and the seafood salad, but I went with the seafood salad. Unfortunately, the lettuce wasn't fresh and it was drenched in dressing. Surprisingly, the red wine was served chilled. The whiskey was smooth and had a mild flavor.

The restaurant was very spacious and the seats were comfortable! I ordered top sirloin salt, yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), beef fillet, harami (skirt steak) cut off, kimchi, shiitake mushrooms, chicken tenderloin, stone pot bibimbap, and seafood salad. (In the order of the photos) The meat was generally delicious! The only disappointment was the salad. The lettuce was a bit wilted and the dressing was too much. Thank you for the meal.

I heard about this place through word of mouth and decided to visit. The staff were very friendly and the speed and taste at this price point were impressive. I made a reservation for 18:30 on a weekday, but the place was already bustling with customers. I ordered the Namul assortment, which was about three times the size of a regular portion. It was delicious. I had it all with salt sauce, which was on the richer side. The rice went well with it. They also provided a separate dish of sauce, which was very tasty! Thank you for the meal.

As always, it was excellent. The food was delicious, served quickly, and this time they had seasonal asparagus which was really thick and tasty when grilled. We went around 4 pm this time. My husband only had 2 drinks, so we spent less than 7,000 yen for the two of us. I tried the thick-cut tongue for the first time and it was delicious! The dishes recommended on the wall were also tasty. It's a restaurant with good cost performance and high satisfaction.

I went back after 2 weeks and had a great time, haha. I got hooked on it the first time I went. I ordered the recommended Harami and limited quantity Kalbi that were posted on the wall, along with the Upper Tan Shio and Kimchi set, Upper Roast, Moyashi Namul, Pork Toro, Negi, my husband had garlic and Hormone. We also got extra rice, a non-alcoholic highball, one regular highball each. The meat this time seemed saltier than last time. The meat was still delicious and tender, the sauce was tasty, and the kimchi and negi were delicious too! It's a 90-minute limit, but one hour is enough to enjoy. I didn't want to wait in line, so we went in the 4 o'clock hour. Even after 5 hours, I still feel satisfied from all the food we ate. It cost us 7400 yen for the two of us.

First visit! I checked the reviews on Tabelog and Google before going. It seems to be a popular restaurant with long lines, so I decided to go around 4:20 pm to avoid waiting in the cold. When I arrived, there were already quite a few people inside the restaurant, surprising me. There were even some people dining alone. By around 5 pm, the restaurant was full. Excited for my first dining out and first yakiniku in a while, being pregnant and avoiding alcohol and caffeine, I was happy to see a variety of soft drinks available. I chose a non-alcoholic Chardonnay-like drink. I ordered Oi Kimchi, Tan Shio, Upper Kalbi, Upper Harami, and Upper Loins, I think. The Oi Kimchi was refreshing and delicious. The Tan Shio came with more slices than usual, and the saltiness was mild. The upper cuts of meat were incredibly tender and tasty, with no greasiness and a delicious sauce. I was surprised by how much I could enjoy the meat, as I couldn't eat any during my morning sickness. The meat quality was excellent, and the mild seasoning was nice. I then ordered more delicious meat and ended with pork belly and bean sprout namul. The namul was fresh and went well with the meat. The pork belly was also mildly seasoned. Being pregnant, I cooked the meat well, but it remained delicious and tender. I was truly impressed. The best part about this restaurant is that the food arrives quickly after ordering, which must contribute to the fast turnover. There are plenty of staff members as well. They currently have a 90-minute time limit, but we were satisfied and finished within an hour. Despite eating a lot of good meat, the bill was around 8,000 yen for two people (my husband had alcohol). I'd like to try how much we can spend on a more budget-friendly meal. When we left around 5:30 pm, there were already many people waiting outside the restaurant, and the sign-up sheet was full of names. I didn't know there was such a popular place in Hasunuma. My husband even said, "Let's come here once a month!" The cost performance is excellent. Highly satisfying!

It is a popular restaurant, so there is always a line. We enjoyed yakiniku and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere on the sofa seats. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Feeling a bit of summer fatigue, I decided to visit this restaurant again to lift my spirits. I went on a Sunday around 6 pm, and the place was almost full as usual. Due to COVID-19 measures, table condiments were removed and orders had to be placed. This time, I tried a variety of dishes including: - "Yamakawa Kalbi (¥528)" - "Yamakawa Sirloin (¥528)" - "Yamakawa Harami (¥528)" - "Thick-cut pork kalbi (¥363)" - "Hormone (¥418)" - "Beef tendon stew (¥385)" - "Kalbi soup (¥495)" - "Bibimbap (¥528)" - "Tomato salad (¥319)" In terms of meat, the order of preference was Kalbi > Harami > Sirloin in terms of fattiness. The Sirloin had a liver-like internal organ taste, while the Kalbi had a chewy texture with a slightly unusual fat flavor. The Harami, on the other hand, was thick-cut with minimal odor and became my favorite. I also tried the miso flavor, but I preferred the sauce. The Hormone was white offal with plenty of fat. It was grilled with the fat part lightly seared, providing a juicy fat and chewy skin texture. Despite being just fat, it was enjoyable without any odor. The Bibimbap had a moderate amount of rice, topped with namul and a bit of sauce, offering a refreshing taste with a slight acidity and good texture. It might be a good way to get your vegetables compared to regular rice. The beef tendon stew had plenty of tender tendon meat as usual, with a rich tomato flavor that goes well with rice. I could sense a bit of meat odor, so I wish they had pepper as a table condiment even during the pandemic. Overall, this place offers good value for enjoying meat dishes easily and quickly.

On a certain Saturday in January, there is a couple who often feel tired and stressed, and their go-to solution is to go out for drinks. So, on a particularly stressful Saturday, they decided to visit a nearby restaurant that is always busy but has a fast turnover, allowing them to be seated and served quickly. They wrote their names and number of people on a paper next to the register, waited a few minutes, and then entered the restaurant. They sat at a table for four even though there were only two of them, as there is a two-hour time limit. Despite the crowds, both drinks and food were served promptly. Their favorite dish at this restaurant is the Chorogi Salad for 418 yen, which comes in a generous portion with a delicious dressing. They also recommend the "Yamagata" series of meat dishes, with the Yamagata Kalbi for 528 yen being their favorite for its good value and taste. On this visit, they tried the Wagyu Togarashi for 858 yen and the Wagyu Yamagata Roast for 968 yen, both of which were limited in quantity. While the Togarashi was decent, the Yamagata Roast was not to their liking. As they enjoyed their meal, they observed an elderly couple at a nearby table, with the husband mixing Bibimbap for his wife, which brought a smile to their faces. Inspired by this, the couple ordered the Bibimbap with Wakame Soup for 825 yen and mixed it together, enjoying the crispy rice. Overall, it was a quick and satisfying meal at the restaurant.

I was very tired on a Saturday in October and craving yakiniku with my partner, but I didn't feel like going out, so we decided to try a nearby budget-friendly yakiniku restaurant. However, there was a line, so we opted to go to a yakiniku restaurant near the station instead. Despite the wait, the turnover was quick and we were seated within 5 minutes of writing our names on a paper in front of the register. The meat was cheap but so-so, however, the side dishes were delicious and reasonably priced! A must-try is the Chorogi salad for 418 yen, which comes in a generous portion. For drinks and to finish off the yakiniku, we ordered a coconut ice cream for 440 yen. The coconut flavor was irresistible, with just the right amount of sweetness, making it a perfect way to end the meal. This nearby casual yakiniku restaurant is convenient and we will definitely visit again!

Located in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, just a 1-minute walk from Hasunuma Station, this yakiniku restaurant has 98 seats and is always popular with families. The menu offers reasonably priced options like Yama-gawa Kalbi for 480 yen, which is popular among families. The restaurant also serves Yama-gawa Harami, Jou Tan Shio, Hormone, seasonal vegetable grill assortment, and Yukkejang soup (spicy), all of which are delicious and reasonably priced. The Yukkejang soup was unexpectedly authentic and tasty. It's no wonder there is always a line at this popular family-friendly yakiniku restaurant near Hasunuma Station on weekends.

I went to a yakiniku restaurant in front of the station. I was very satisfied the last time I came, and of course, I was very satisfied this time too! The standard meat, whether marinated or salted, was delicious with a firm texture. The recommended shiitake mushrooms, asparagus, and lamb were also good. The side menu was also great. I didn't drink alcohol, but I was quite full for just a little over 2000 yen. Even if it's not nearby, this is definitely a great place to satisfy your yakiniku cravings.

I think it's a normal yakiniku restaurant, neither good nor bad. The staff are always walking around the tables and provide quick service, which is nice. It's good if it's nearby, but personally I don't think it's worth taking the train to go there. The beef tenderloin was the most delicious.

Yamakawa Kalbi, especially the thick-cut tongue, is absolutely delicious! Great value for money.

This place is always crowded because it's cheap and has a good reputation. However, the taste is slightly inferior compared to the regulars' favorite, Sankeien (Lotus Root). I visited here when Sankeien was closed. The meat is thickly sliced but all of them feel tough. It's okay for casual meat eating, but might not be suitable for the elderly. It's nice that children liven up the atmosphere, but it can be tough for the elderly.
