It's a restaurant that feels just like being in Thailand. All seats are on an open terrace, so you eat while being watched by passersby, haha. The food is really delicious, but everything is so spicy!!! I'm not good with spicy food, so I had to eat with a glass of water in hand... I thought I could handle the pho, but it had a lot of ginger in it and it was spicy!! Haha. But it's really tasty.

I visited around 1:30 pm on the last holiday of the three-day weekend and waited for about 30 minutes to get in! I ordered Gapao rice, beer, and Pad Thai! When you pour all the sauce on the Gapao, it becomes quite spicy, so be careful, but as a spicy food lover, I really enjoyed it haha. The prices are cheap, but the portions and taste are perfect, so I recommend it to those who want to enjoy ethnic cuisine in a slightly trendy area! I think it's also suitable for a date!

A Thai food stall in Harajuku that attracts crowds during the day and long lines at night. I didn't plan on waiting in line, but I was able to get in right away so I decided to try it. I chose Singha beer without hesitation. The menu offers a variety of Asian dishes, not just Thai, but they all seem to be very oily.

In the heart of Harajuku, there is a casual dining spot that feels just right. The tomato stir-fry, coriander salad, and fried spring mochi were all delicious. The mochi made with glutinous rice was especially tasty. I will also do my best to provide an on-site report from Bangkok soon.

I have been really curious about Chao Bamboo in the Omotesando and Harajuku area that I saw on Instagram!! As someone who loves Thai food the most, the Gapaorai rice with egg was just delicious. The texture of the rice, the meat, everything was well-balanced and consistently tasty. Next time, I want to try Pad Thai and a few other dishes a la carte.

We visited this restaurant during the three-day weekend based on good reviews. We arrived around 3 pm and sat mostly outdoors. We tried mango lassi, fresh spring rolls, chilled Tom Yum noodles, Pad Thai, stir-fried chicken and cashew nuts (highly recommended), and grilled pork belly.

I visited the restaurant right after it opened, but within 15 minutes it was already full. I ordered the highly rated Gapao and fresh spring rolls. Both were delicious as described in the reviews, and the Gapao had a generous portion for two people, but we finished it quickly. The menu is also extensive, so next time I want to come with a large group and try a variety of dishes.

Despite the heat, the open interior of the shop is not too hot, and you can enjoy the atmosphere of an Asian eatery. I had Thai fried rice "Khao Pad" and fresh spring rolls. Both dishes come with a refreshing sauce that is perfect for this season. The spring rolls are packed with vegetables and have a satisfying crunch. The Khao Pad is a very moist fried rice dish with a robust flavor on its own, but the spicy sauce with chili peppers adds an irresistible accent. The presence or absence of chili pepper seeds provides a different flavor experience, making it incredibly delicious. This is a great place to visit with a large group and try a variety of dishes.

Chao Bamboo's Gapao Rice is very voluminous and the taste is just perfect. It's easy to eat and leaves you feeling full and happy. It's always crowded but worth the wait! The Pho is also consistently delicious. Chao Chao Bamboo, which is in the same group, is also tasty.

I visited Chaobanboo, my long-awaited restaurant, on a Sunday at 4 pm and was able to enter without waiting. I ordered four types of bottled beer, fried spring rolls, Gapao rice, chicken and cashew nut stir-fry, and Pad Thai. Everything was really delicious, cost-effective, and I will definitely come back! By the time we left, there was a line forming outside.

This is my second visit. It is a lively Thai restaurant on a small street in Omotesando. I was lucky not to have to wait in line around 6 pm on a weekday, but there is usually a bit of a line. This time, I ordered: Som Tam, fried chicken with sweet vinegar and spicy flavor, and stir-fried eggplant with Sichuan pepper. Everything tasted fresh. The atmosphere is Southeast Asian-like, and all the food looks delicious. The cost performance was very good for Omotesando. Takeout is also available. Thank you for the meal!

Even on weekdays, this place always has a line, and I've always been curious to try it someday. Since reservations aren't accepted, I went straight to the restaurant! I arrived around 7:30 pm on a Tuesday and had to wait for about 30 minutes as there were 4 groups ahead of me. It's a popular spot, and all the dishes I ordered were delicious! Each dish had a rich flavor that paired well with beer - it was amazing! Personally, I loved the refreshing and lightly flavored 333 beer (Bar Bar Beer) they had, which was a nice change from the usual Singha or Chang beers found at other Thai restaurants. In terms of cost performance, it was great. We ordered 4 dishes and 4 beers, and it came out to about 4000 yen (for 2 people, around 2000 yen per person...!?) The open atmosphere had a Southeast Asian vibe which was really nice. It's a bit warm this time of year, but the food matched perfectly and made it feel like I was in Thailand, so I didn't mind at all. I will definitely go back!

I've always wanted to go to Chao Bamboo. It was extremely hot that day, but luckily the restaurant was not crowded. The food was delicious. #Harajuku #HarajukuLunch #Omotesando #OmotesandoLunch #ThaiFood #Thai

Conclusion, very satisfied. Service: ★★★ Taste: ★★★★★ Atmosphere: ★★★★ Location: ★★★ There is a Chao Chao Bamboo nearby, so I went there, but I mistakenly entered this place. Is this the original store that opened first? The interior of the store gives off a vibe of Southeast Asian street stalls, creating a sense of being in a different world.

Work aside, I feel out of place in Omotesando. Today in Tokyo is unbearably hot. However, there are plenty of shady spots in Omotesando, making it quite enjoyable. Last time, I had lunch at Omotesando Hills. It felt completely mismatched. I didn't want to make the same mistake again, so I had a place in mind that I wanted to try. And that place is here. The atmosphere of the restaurant is reassuring for an old guy like me. Last time I saw it, it was super crowded, so I entered promptly. The inside of the restaurant is nice and the menu looks good. Ah, I want to drink beer. I ordered stir-fried greens and gapao. The restaurant is mostly staffed by Thai people, creating a lively atmosphere. First, the stir-fried greens arrived. It seems to have tofu noodles in it. It tastes delicious with a strong garlic flavor. The tofu noodles are also good. Then the gapao arrived. I eat it. It tastes somehow delicious! It has a mild sweetness which is nice. There is also a bit of spiciness. Uh oh, this is the most delicious gapao I've ever had. More and more customers are coming in. The ratio of men to women is half and half. I finished it in no time!! I really want to drink beer now!! Thank you for the meal!!

A place where you can fully enjoy the atmosphere of a Thai street food stall. The first-floor seating area is fully open to the outside, so especially in the summer, you'll be dripping with sweat, but that's part of the fun of this place! The quality of authentic Thai cuisine here is so good that you might mistakenly think you're in Bangkok. The slightly chaotic location in the backstreets of Harajuku is also fantastic. It's not just cool, trendy restaurants around here, but also great places like this. Thank you for the delicious meal as always. I imagine the kitchen must be hot in this season. Keep up the good work!

This is a delicious restaurant where I always want to go back to, especially for Thai cuisine. It's always crowded whenever I go, but I was able to get in smoothly around 6 pm! On the contrary, it seemed like there was a line when I went a little later. It's great that there are two stores nearby, so I can go to either one!

This is one of the hidden gems located behind Omotesando Hills, across from Omotesando. When a nearby dumpling restaurant had stopped taking orders, I was able to get in here without any issues. The atmosphere inside was great, perhaps because they were open. There were also many foreigners. I tried their popular Gapao rice and Asahi bottled beer. It was nice to have the option of drinking beer from a small bottle as well. The Gapao rice had a good amount of Gapao and was delicious! I would definitely like to come back here again. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived a little before the stated opening time of 11:30 AM, but the restaurant was already full with customers dining inside. Maybe they open at 11:00 AM. The Gapao Rice was really delicious! The fresh spring rolls and Thai ramen were also tasty. I would like to try other items on the menu next time!

"Ciao Bamboo" * Meiji Jingu-mae / When you want to eat authentic Thai cuisine in Tokyo, this is the first place that comes to mind! The atmosphere and food at the restaurant make you feel like you are at a Thai street stall! Reservations are not accepted, but the popular restaurant always has a line on weekends for both lunch and dinner! There are many local dishes on the menu that you may not recognize just by the name! I ordered Gapao Rice, Khao Man Gai, Fresh Spring Rolls, and Pad Thai, but the Gapao Rice was hands down the most delicious! The Gapao Rice was so flavorful and filling that I finished it before anything else! If you want to eat delicious Gapao Rice, you must visit this place!
