People have started calling me an old man at some point. After work, I went for a drink with my colleagues. We entered through a small entrance into the restaurant. Inside, the lighting was dimmed and the tables were arranged like private rooms, creating a calm atmosphere. We enjoyed some drinks along with delicious red ginger tempura (so tasty even without tempura sauce), assorted pickles (perfectly seasoned), and sliced horse mackerel (a perfect snack with alcohol). The location was a bit hard to find, but we were able to relax and enjoy our time in a tranquil space. It was a wonderful treat.

A hidden gem of a place, a bit hard to find... Squid namero, deep-fried eggplant in broth, ham katsu, vegetable sticks, and familiar faces aplenty.

Crispy and delicious chicken liver cutlet, cooked until the heart is crispy and tasty, without any unpleasant smell. The beef tendon is cooked well, with a normal taste. The vinegar miso is normal. The sake-steamed cheese is pretty delicious.

★Visited the restaurant on a weekday in January 2012 at 6:00 PM, first customer★
Seat: Counter & semi-private room★

Visited in September 2011 at 6:00 PM on a weekday. The entrance is like a hidden secret hideaway (゜o゜). The small interior has a counter and several semi-private rooms. The owner is young and cheerful♪ Among the dishes we tried, the "ham cutlet" was quite impressive (゜o゜). The breading is crispy and the ham is thick and juicy (゜o゜)! I was surprised as I had only ever had thin ham cutlets before (>_<)♪ Overall, the taste was... well, average I suppose (^o^). And... the ice♪ Not diamond-shaped but chunky (^o^)♪ It might be a bit difficult to fit in a glass sometimes... but it's nice (^o^)♪ I lost my memory after having shochu on the rocks (>_<)♪ Thank you for the meal♪

It is truly a hidden gem. First-timers may have trouble finding it alone. Even those who have been there before may get lost. The entrance is a small door, and people over 180cm tall may not be able to enter. (Just kidding, you can enter if you bend down.) The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere with three semi-private rooms and a counter with eight seats. Despite being a hidden gem, the interior is bright with colorful menu strips posted everywhere. It seems to be run by a beautiful couple. The lovely wife takes care of serving, while the husband seems to be in charge of cooking. It is basically a creative izakaya, and there are no bad choices on the menu. As other reviews mention, the ham cutlet and cabbage stir-fried with Haccho miso are my top recommendations! The semi-private rooms are bright, and although it is not too fancy, it is suitable for entertaining guests. Since it is not a large establishment, you can quickly become friends with the owners. The only downside is that since the couple manages everything, the service can be slow when the restaurant is full. Well, that also adds to the charm of a hidden gem – enjoy some shochu while waiting leisurely.

When you feel like drinking sake, this is the place to go. The master and the waitresses are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. They have a wide variety of sake, and I always enjoy brands like Harushika, Dassai, and Suigei. My favorite dishes are horse mackerel namero, ginger dumplings, and ham cutlet, which go well with the sake. I tend to overeat when drinking, but the comfortable atmosphere always leaves me feeling satisfied both in my stomach and in my heart when I leave. This is a place I always want to visit regularly.

I visited this hidden gem located on the ground floor of a mixed-use building in a back alley towards the Kanda area from Awajicho Station for the first time. The lunch sign outside is not very noticeable, making it hard to tell if they are open. The interior has a subdued wooden design, and since I was alone, I was seated at the counter, which had enough space between seats. The menu has only one option priced at 850 yen for a small, 900 yen for a regular, and 950 yen for a large. I ordered the small size. It came with miso soup, pickled Chinese cabbage, and cabbage salad. The miso soup with wakame seaweed, Chinese cabbage, and chopped green onions was deliciously made. The pickled Chinese cabbage was fresh and the cabbage and lettuce salad had a refreshing taste with ponzu dressing. The main dish, braised pork belly rice bowl, was served with lettuce, seaweed, and kaiware radish, topped with 3-4 slices of braised pork belly. The slightly ginger-flavored sauce complemented the rich taste of the pork belly, making it delicious. Looking at the menu on the wall, it seems they offer more playful and interesting dishes rather than traditional izakaya fare. I would like to visit again for the evening menu, as it seems like an intriguing place. The lunch prices are a bit on the higher side considering the menu offerings.

I often pass by the front of the store but have trouble finding the entrance. Visited with two friends while a bit drunk. The exterior of the store is hard to notice, giving off a hidden gem vibe. Be careful not to hit your head on the entrance! The interior has a cozy atmosphere, with a somewhat private room feel. The food is like homemade dishes, reminiscent of something your mom would make. It's very comforting. My friends also seemed satisfied. The young waitress was attentive and thoughtful. Thank you for your hospitality. I will definitely visit again.
