When I arrived, there were 2 groups ahead of me waiting. I was seated in about 30 minutes. You order and receive your food at the counter in this café. The majority of customers inside were female groups, with only about 2 couples. The male staff members provided very calming service.

Located in front of Aoyama Gakuin University, this is a Japanese cafe. When I visited around 1:00 pm on the weekend, it was very empty, but by 1:30 pm it was almost full. The interior had a calm and lovely atmosphere! This time, I had the matcha Basque cake and an iced cafe au lait. The Basque cake with a refreshing matcha flavor and creamy red bean paste was delicious. The shaved ice and matcha terrine that the person next to me ordered also looked tasty. It's a place that makes you want to visit again.

Located between Omotesando and Shibuya, this cafe offers sweets made with matcha and hojicha. The interior has a calming atmosphere with a mix of concrete and natural wood in a modern Japanese style. I tried the Matcha Basque Cheesecake for 700 yen and the Chamomile for 600 yen. The Matcha Basque Cheesecake had red bean whipped cream and used Kyoto matcha, making it a gluten-free cake. The surface was nicely browned and fragrant. The cheesecake was moist and smooth, with a refreshing taste of matcha's slight bitterness and aroma. It's a stylish and relaxing cafe where you can enjoy a leisurely time. Highly recommended for matcha lovers.

Next to Aoyama Gakuin University, there is a cozy Japanese café with a nice atmosphere. You can enjoy lattes and matcha sweets made with Yabukita variety. The interior of the café is stylish, with black tables and warm wooden elements, resembling a Japanese-style room. There are straw cushions on benches that add a cozy touch. I visited on a weekday evening, but unfortunately, all the sweets were sold out. The menu includes different flavors of terrine such as matcha, hojicha, and chocolate. They have recently started offering Basque cheesecake as well. I ordered a matcha latte (¥800), which was served with a glass filled with milk and a measuring cup-like container with matcha on the side. You pour the matcha into the milk to make your matcha latte. Despite the generous amount of milk, the matcha flavor was quite strong even after mixing. However, the added sweetness masked some of the bitterness of the matcha. It's a mild and creamy matcha latte that would appeal to those who enjoy a more mellow drink. The café had a lot of young customers, but it had a welcoming atmosphere that would also be appreciated by foreign visitors.

★Matcha Terrine★Matcha Latte (ICED)・Matcha TerrineThe combination of bitter matcha and sweet cream is outstanding. The rich and moist terrine is addictive, despite being slightly small in size. It's just the right size to satisfy. Adding matcha powder enhances the matcha flavor, making it even more delicious!・Matcha LatteA matcha latte where you can pour matcha into milk yourself. A generous amount of milk with authentic matcha, creating a delicious matcha latte with a subtle sweetness and bitterness. The interior of the cafe is filled with wood, and the window seats have long benches with circular cushions, giving it a Japanese-style atmosphere. The play of light coming through was lovely.【Wait time?】Weekdays at 14:30, no wait, plenty of space in the store【Recommended for who?】Perfect for couples◎Friends◎Family△Solo◎8 tables for 2 people each.

I arrived here around 5:30 pm on a weekend before meeting with friends. The restaurant was almost full and the matcha terrine was sold out. There were many couples and young people, and the atmosphere was much busier than it looked in the photos. I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting a more calming atmosphere, but the hojicha terrine and matcha latte were both delicious. They weren't just sweet or strong, but had a unique deliciousness to them. I would love to visit again when it's more peaceful.

This is a relatively new cafe that opened in October 2022. It is located between Omotesando and Shibuya, in front of the Aoyama Gakuin University West Gate. I visited on a weekend afternoon and was lucky to be seated at the last available table. There were about 6 groups waiting outside, indicating its popularity. The seating is limited to about 45 seats, which may be why there was a wait. The seats were on long benches with tables, giving a modern yet Japanese atmosphere. The ambiance was adult-friendly and I enjoyed the space. You pay upfront at the counter where you also place your order. The counter space was lovely and cute. They offer complimentary fruit-infused water, which was a nice touch. I tried the Matcha Terrine, which had a rich matcha flavor and a balanced sweetness. The Matcha Crumble added a nice crunchy texture. The whipped cream was light and complemented the matcha well. I also had the Matcha Latte, which was creamy and easy to drink. It paired well with the Matcha Terrine. Overall, it was a satisfying cafe experience with friendly staff.

There is a Japanese cafe near Seiryou High School, with a quiet atmosphere and nobody around. They offer terrines with cheese, hojicha, matcha, and chocolate flavors. The most popular one on Instagram seems to be matcha. It can get crowded at times, so aiming for right after opening on weekdays might be a good idea.

I enjoyed a stylish Japanese-style space while having their famous matcha terrine and matcha latte. The matcha terrine was incredibly rich with a strong tea flavor, yet not too sweet which I loved! My friend had an iced matcha latte, while I had a hot one. The hot latte was so fluffy and delicious. It also had a nice tea flavor with a subtly sweet taste. Overall, it was a great experience!

I visited this café after seeing recommendations on SNS. I ordered two matcha lattes, one matcha terrine, and one hojicha terrine. I shared the terrines with a friend, and both the matcha and hojicha flavors were delicious. The terrines were incredibly rich, with just the right amount of sweetness. Although the prices were a bit high, the taste definitely justified it. I visited around 2:20 pm on a weekday during spring break, and it seemed like most of the customers were university students. The café started to get crowded quickly after I arrived, and there was a 45-minute time limit mentioned on the menu. Overall, it was a great experience.

I tried this cafe recommended on Instagram. I ordered the Uji matcha latte for ¥780 and the matcha terrine for ¥780 as suggested. The matcha latte had a nice balance of matcha bitterness, perfect for matcha lovers. The matcha terrine was also delicious! The interior of the cafe has a Japanese-style atmosphere, suitable for short stays rather than long ones. Note: There is a 45-minute seating limit mentioned.

Omotesando-Aoyama-Shibuya area is a competitive cafe district, with subtly stylish cafes that may go unnoticed. The lineup is full of women, with high-quality offerings that even adults can appreciate. The hojicha latte is delicious and comforting, giving a feeling of being transported to Kyoto. I want to try other items on the menu too. It's a great cafe.

Located between Omotesando and Shibuya, in front of the west gate of Aoyama Gakuin University. The space is cozy with high-quality wooden chairs and tables for about 8 seats. The warmth of the wood makes you forget about the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing you to relax and take a breather. The Matcha Terrine (780 yen) has a rich and moist texture with a hint of matcha aroma even before you take a bite. The sweetness is well balanced with a subtle bitterness of matcha, and the crispy matcha crumble adds a nice touch. The cream has a sweetness similar to vanilla ice cream with a creamy texture, which complements the rich matcha terrine perfectly. The tableware has a luxurious feel, but the disposable wooden forks feel cheap and disappointing. It's a relief that it's not a one-drink policy, but the prices have increased significantly since opening, with each item costing close to 800 yen, which may be too expensive for some to become regular customers. On a weekday around 10 am, there was one customer, a solo female diner.

I went around 10:30 am. I ordered a matcha vanilla latte and a hojicha latte as my second order. The vanilla syrup went well with the matcha and it was delicious. I also ordered matcha terrine, hojicha terrine, and cheesecake. All the terrines were rich and delicious, but my favorite was the cheesecake. ⭐︎

Opened in October 2022 in Omotesando, this cafe offers Matcha Terrine for 780 yen, Matcha Latte for 780 yen, and Matcha Vanilla Latte for 780 yen. It was a weekday afternoon, but the cafe was full and we had to wait for about 30 minutes. I don't usually go out to eat Matcha sweets, but my friend wanted to go, so I tried them. The Matcha Terrine was small but rich and delicious, with a hint of sweetness. The drinks were more milky than Matcha-flavored. Personally, I wish there was more Matcha flavor in them. I also noticed Hojicha Terrine and scones on the menu, so I would like to try them next time if I have the chance.

Around 1:30 pm on the weekend. There were 4 groups of customers at first, but more customers kept coming in and the restaurant became full. The interior had a slightly dim lighting with a traditional Japanese atmosphere. I ordered a Matcha Latte (¥780 including tax) and a Matcha Gateau (¥780 including tax). It seems like they have raised the prices quite a bit since last month, the sweets are now ¥130 more expensive. The Matcha Gateau was rich and moist, with just the right amount of matcha bitterness and a smooth texture. The crispy cookie base was also delicious. On top, there were slightly sweet black beans. The dishes were cute and the wooden fork was stylish, although a bit difficult to eat with. I wanted a non-sweet drink to go with the sweets, so I asked for the Matcha Latte without syrup. They provided the syrup separately in case I wanted to add sweetness. The sweets and drinks were tasty, but the prices were a bit high.

I waited in line for about 2 hours because I went on a Saturday. If you don't mind waiting, it's a great atmosphere, delicious food, and a perfect place for a date. I ordered a matcha latte and a gâteau au chocolat, and they were delicious.

This is a side street of Omotesando Aoyama Gakuin University, towards Shibuya. It seems to have opened on 10/1, and I tried to go at the opening time, but I mistakenly went to the other side towards Chakado, so I ended up being late... I went on a Saturday, so I thought it would be very crowded, but there were only about 1 group before and after me. #I was actually aiming to be the first one, so I'm a little disappointed. I ordered a matcha vanilla latte and a matcha gateau. The menu is projected on the wall with a video, introduced by a cat. There are also cat characters at the counter. The interior is a woody Japanese-style space that you wouldn't expect to find between Shibuya and Omotesando. I found an open memorial sticker, so I stuck it on my phone.

Opened in conjunction with the Aoyama Studio of the Tokyo-based video production company "ENO.STUDIO," this café features a cozy atmosphere with high-quality wooden furnishings. I ordered the Matcha Tiramisu (650 yen), which was topped with matcha powder and served with a side of matcha sauce. It was a comforting dessert that provided a sense of relaxation in the urban setting of Aoyama.
