On Saturday at 11:30, I visited the restaurant with a reservation made by my senior. When we arrived, the seats were not fully occupied. Around 12:00, more people started coming in. The beef tongue was good, the fillet was excellent, and the sirloin was also delicious. The salad, namul, kimchi, soup, rice, beer, highball, coffee, and almond jelly were all good. The fillet was tender and juicy, and it was the most delicious dish.

I love the stone bibimbap at Seryna! It's so delicious!! I mentioned it to someone and they wanted to go, so here we are again (laughs). This time, I took a picture before mixing it up♪ (I learned from last time). I wonder why it wasn't as hot this time? It was kind of disappointing. The Fuchu branch was hotter and tastier.

It's been a while since I last visited Jojoen! This meal is also a celebration~ I searched for a yakiniku restaurant on Tabelog and found many options! I couldn't decide, so I made a reservation for now. It seems you can't use coupons on Tabelog at high-end restaurants like Jojoen. It's been a few years since I last came to Jojoen. I ordered the yakiniku course set at Jojoen. I drank a lot of alcohol and got a little tipsy~ The meat is so delicious! High-quality meat in small portions makes you feel satisfied! Delicious meat and good sake! The conversation naturally gets lively. I had ice cream for dessert and felt satisfied. I drank too much alcohol and the bill was... Thank you for the meal!

Actually, I was brought to this group once during my student days and since then I wanted to eat in a calm place rather than a messy one. I was disappointed because my expectations were not met, but the atmosphere was relaxing, the service was polite, and the meat was delicious for the price. I had a satisfying time in a good mood with good food. I caught a glimpse of the group's strength in guaranteeing such an experience. Lately, there has been a trend of many restaurants trying to attract customers by offering rare cuts of A5 grade meat in crowded, popular places. However, I wonder what really makes customers happy. I realized that I want to eat good meat in a good restaurant.

I was taken to Jojoen as a celebration. I had the mixed lunch set. The meat and rice went really well together. It was very delicious. The Jojoen salad was so tasty that we ordered an extra one. I am satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

There are Sen-ryo restaurants everywhere, and there are three in Ikebukuro's east exit. The Sunshine Street branch is the closest and easiest for me to get to from home. The kalbi here is delicious as always. What's also great is the high quality of the side dishes like salad and chijimi. Some of the seats are nicely partitioned, almost like private rooms, which is nice. [Menu this time] Kalbi... even the regular kalbi has a good amount of fat and is excellent. Seafood Chijimi... crispy and flavorful, Sen-ryo's is the best I've had. Sen-ryo Salad... marinated in sesame oil and special dressing, well-seasoned. It's nice that they peel the cucumber skin. Komtang soup... again, Sen-ryo's is the best. Both the meat and soup are well-seasoned, and the meat is tender with good fat content. Instead of mixing it in the soup, try adding a little bit of the rice meant for yakiniku at the end.

Sunshine Street in Ikebukuro is a place where you can feel confident about the atmosphere, service, and taste even on your first visit. Starting with the classic Jojoen salad, we ordered thick-cut tongue, pickled vegetables, lean meat, and everything was delicious. The service was also polite, truly living up to the quality of a high-end restaurant. As you grow older and visit more restaurants, you may start to feel that there is a lack of uniqueness in the taste and quality of high-end items, and the drinks may seem expensive just for the sake of it. However, as a top-tier yakiniku restaurant, this place will always be a strong contender when deciding where to take people.

From Ikebukuro, it's about a 5-minute walk towards Sunshine. I finally visited the well-known "Jojoen" due to work reasons. It was my first time at a high-end yakiniku restaurant. You couldn't tell from the outside, but the atmosphere inside truly felt like a high-end establishment, making my expectations soar!
"Menu Order"
- Upper Kalbi
- Ribeye
- Tongue with salt
- Lettuce
- Beer
The menu order is a classic lineup. In regular yakiniku restaurants, one serving usually costs around 500 to 1000 yen, but here at Jojoen, it's no surprise that it ranges from 2,000 to 4,000 yen. It feels like there's even more if you look at the higher end prices. They put an apron on you before the meat arrives. Yes, they "put it on for you," not yourself, which was a surprise to me since I didn't know about it. I'm just constantly surprised (laughs).
There are three types of sauces: special sauce, lemon juice, and a light citrus mix sauce. Cheers with beer! And the meat arrives. Just looking at it, you can tell how thick the meat is! Cook it to leave some redness, then savor it. It's delicious! I can't express it any other way than just saying it's delicious! Yakiniku is already delicious, so you naturally expect juiciness and tenderness, but it feels like each aspect has been elevated by one level. And because the meat is thick, each piece has a satisfying bite to it.
The CEO dining with me mentioned that you can be completely satisfied even without ordering rice, and I completely agreed. It's different from the hustle and bustle of regular yakiniku restaurants. In my case, it's not a place I can visit frequently, but I had a very good experience! Thank you for the meal!

I visited a yakiniku restaurant I had never been to in October 2019. I was seated in a private room-style seat. I ordered the following: Jyuban Salada (salad), Ue Negi Tan (tongue with green onion), Ue Rosu (premium loin), Karubi (short rib), and Horumon (offal) platter. Lately, I've been into Rosu (premium loin) even though I also like Karubi (short rib). For dessert, I had Comtan noodles. The only downside was that the soup was a bit warm.

I came to Yakiniku Jojoen in Ikebukuro, which is also available in other locations. I usually visit other Jojoen branches, so this was my first time here. Visited with one other person in October 2019. Our order for the day included Negi-tan (beef tongue with green onions), Jojoen Salad, assorted meats, Komutan noodles, beer, and rice. While the restaurant is considered high-end, the interior felt cramped and lacked the usual Jojoen atmosphere and charm, perhaps due to its location in Ikebukuro. However, the quality of the meat was typical of Jojoen.

I treated myself to lunch as a reward for myself. It cost 1300 yen, but I think it was a very cost-effective and delicious lunch. Even if you have lunch at a regular cafe, it would cost about the same, so I prefer the taste over the appearance (lol). You might worry that there isn't enough meat, but I was satisfied with the amount. It's just the right amount for lunch. I was seated in a private room and was able to enjoy my meal comfortably. Thank you for the meal (*^^*) I will visit again.

The meeting place was here. Yay. It was a decent number of people, so we had the room to ourselves in a somewhat isolated setting. Thank you. We were served a set course and just ate whatever came out. Kimchi and Chorogi salad before the meat were much appreciated. The men seemed dissatisfied as they were not fully satisfied with this. The scallop appetizer was really good. I really like it. The Chorogi salad was impressive with the sandwich-like presentation of leaves and cucumbers. The Chapchae was also well seasoned. The meat had good quality and just the right amount. It's been a while since I had such tender Kalbi. I wish I had eaten the Yukgaejang when I was hungrier (cries). It was a good decision to have the Kuppa served separately from the rice, but I ended up leaving a little bit. I regret it because it was delicious. It was a big miscalculation. I loaded up on ice cream for dessert, but I passed on the matcha mousse-like one. Overall, it was delicious, but I wonder if it's really worth all the hype? The name seems to have taken on a life of its own.

Everyone was making a fuss on TV, so I was expecting it to be really delicious and thought it was a high-end restaurant, but the storefront seemed a bit cheap?? Inside the restaurant, the tables are separated by partitions, respecting privacy like a high-end place!! I ordered "pork belly" but it didn't have much of a pork smell? It was a bit watery maybe? "Marinated beef brisket" had a good amount of lean meat, light and tasty, and the apple was delicious. "Premium kalbi" had a lot of fat and was very rich, almost too heavy. "Beef intestine" had a chewy texture like tripe, good for exercising your jaw muscles. Also had "Napa cabbage kimchi" and "lettuce". After finishing the meal, you can choose between yuzu and matcha ice cream. Yuzu was refreshing like sherbet, while matcha was coated with matcha chocolate, giving it a rich flavor. The customer service, explanation of dishes, and frequency of changing the grill were all very polite and gave a sense of luxury. However, the quality of the grilled meat ultimately depends on the ingredients and sauce, which might be inevitable in a prime location in the city. Please understand the evaluation accordingly.

I made a reservation and went for lunch because it's expensive at night. Lunch is usually around 2000 yen per person. The meat at Jyubanen was tender and delicious, and the rice had a sweet taste and was cooked just right. I felt a bit unsatisfied with just the lunch, so I ordered additional meat, which came out to around 5000 yen for two people. I recommend it for those who want to enjoy a leisurely meal.

First time having yakiniku - first time trying proper beef! Since it was my first time, I can't compare it to other places, but the seafood platter was delicious! The texture of the Ise lobster was amazing! The sizes were also quite large, so I was very satisfied.

Visited for lunch with a friend. I had been here once before and back then they served shrimp, but recently the shrimp has disappeared... However, the taste is still amazing, especially the dressing on the salad. It has a junky flavor that can stand up to the richness of the meat, making it impossible not to have a drink with it. I recommend trying the cheapest lunch course and see for yourself.

The first time I tried chijimi, it was incredibly delicious. The thin crispy texture combined with the chewy inside and the sizzling oil was genius! I want to come back just to eat this. It was a bit sad that the kiwi juice was finished. Thank you for the meal! :)

A place for yakiniku that provides a sense of peace and trust. I have been here a few times, but during times like these, I especially appreciate its quality. The restaurant is clean, with spacious seating and proper safety measures in place. The meat quality is excellent, and the complimentary kimchi soup is delicious. I didn't buy it this time, but the freeze-dried kimchi soup souvenir is also tasty. The menu prices may be on the higher side, but the portion sizes are generous, so it doesn't feel overly expensive. This area is filled with yakiniku restaurants, but I always end up coming back to this simple yet high-quality place.

A large group ordered the monthly kaiseki course, and each dish took so long that it took over 3 hours to finish the course. It seemed like there were not enough staff, as the progress of the dishes was slow. The seating had to be separate, but the meat was served 10 minutes late for each table, making it clear that they were not prepared for large group dining. There was no specific table attendant, and there were many mistakes with drink orders. Even when we pressed the button, it took at least 5 minutes for someone to come. This experience on a weekday evening made me worry about how they would handle weekends. Whether it is a direct store or a franchise, I can understand why this location of Seryna has lower ratings on review sites compared to other branches. I hope they can improve their service to maintain the reputation of Seryna. Next time, unless there are significant changes, I would consider going to SANSANTEI Ikebukuro Minami-guchi Big Guard store instead.

It's the classic choice. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. But I wish it was a bit cheaper, considering my income in my twenties. Overall, it was delicious. (⁎⁍̴̆Ɛ⁍̴̆⁎)
