On this day, after staying up all night, I decided to go on a trip around Japan. Despite being quite sleep-deprived, I was drawn to a new restaurant in Minamiosawa and visited around 3:30 pm on a holiday. It seems that the restaurant opened in November 2016. Since it was an odd time, there was only one other customer. I was seated at the counter by the window and quickly checked out the 1-hour all-you-can-drink option for 889 yen. However, I was informed that it was only available from 5 pm, and until then, the restaurant had a different setup. The extension was priced at 269 yen for every 20 minutes. Hmm, the extension seems like a better deal! The all-you-can-drink menu included 3 types of beer, 8 types of sake, 30 types of shochu, 14 types of plum wine, wine, whiskey, and more, all self-service. I decided to order a seafood bowl for 500 yen and a draft beer to kill time. The bowl had shrimp, one piece of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, two pieces of thick omelet, negitoro, and sakura denbu. Although the portion seemed a bit small, the price was reasonable. Finally, the all-you-can-drink started, and I ordered a sashimi platter for 699 yen. It was funny to have sashimi after the seafood bowl! The staff kindly explained the all-you-can-drink system to me, and I opted for sake. I was recommended a premium sake called Namazake Nabeshima Junmai Ginjo, which was served in a special way. The second drink was Kubota Senjyu, also served uniquely. The sashimi platter that arrived had tuna, yellowtail, salmon, shrimp, and scallop, a generous five-piece assortment, which was a surprise. The staff mentioned it was a complimentary service. I also tried Bass Pale Ale but failed to pour it properly due to being a bit tipsy. I ended the night with another premium sake, Dassai Junmai Ginjo. Lastly, I received a mini-size homemade cream cheese with salted kelp as a gift. Overall, the staff were enthusiastic and provided excellent service, making the all-you-can-drink offer very appealing. The restaurant is a great choice for those who enjoy drinking. Thank you for the meal.
