I visited the restaurant after making a reservation with a cat-loving father. I arrived at 7:00 p.m. on the Saturday I reserved, and there were already 5 other customers. After sanitizing both hands, I was led to a table for 4 people. They had pre-ordered the Fish Head Curry (requires advance booking) and Beef Rendang. The menu was soon to be updated, so there were no menus inside the restaurant. We ordered some draft beer and toasted. As a snack, we ordered Paper Duck instead of Paper Chicken. The Fish Head Curry, which filled a sukiyaki pot, arrived first. It was a South Indian style curry with a whole sea bream head, eggplant, okra, tomato, and purple onions. It had a hint of mint and lemongrass. Then the Beef Rendang, Dal Curry, and Jasmine Rice arrived. The Beef Rendang here is the same as the 36cos retort curry. We poured the Fish Head Curry, Beef Rendang, and Dal Curry over the Jasmine Rice. The Fish Head Curry was mildly spicy with the umami of sea bream broth, a nice lemongrass aroma, and a hint of sourness and sweetness from tamarind and mango. The Beef Rendang had cilantro, lemongrass, and galangal, and the tender beef was very delicious. The Dal Curry was full of ingredients and had a strong clove flavor. We also received the Malaysian-style greens (stir-fried water spinach) and the Paper Duck. The Malaysian-style greens were a stir-fry of water spinach with a shrimp aroma that went well with beer. The Paper Duck was a Chinese soy sauce-flavored grilled duck skewer, which was also delicious. Despite our efforts, we couldn't finish the Fish Head Curry, so we asked for it to be packed to go. The total for 3 curries, 2 snacks, 2 plates of Jasmine Rice, 1 draft beer each, and 1 lemon sour each was just under 10,000 yen. It was a very satisfying dinner. I recommend making a reservation before visiting, as the specialty, Fish Head Curry, must be pre-ordered. I plan to visit with about 4 people next time. Thank you for the meal.
