I was taken to a restaurant by my junior colleague who couldn't resist the fish roe. They recommended it for those who love sea urchin, tobiko, and ikura. Five of us from the same department went there. The restaurant is located a 3-minute walk from the A5 exit of Iidabashi Station on the Tozai Line, towards Otemachi. When we arrived, we were seated at a table on the second floor after giving our reservation name. The seating area on both the first and second floors is a bit cramped, so it's best to travel light, especially during coat season. We were served the following dishes: - Cod roe salad as a starter - "Fish Roe Master's Serious Mille-Feuille" for ¥1500 - Sea urchin croquette, around ¥400 each - Crispy garlic shrimp for ¥900 - Fried potato with karasumi (bottarga) for ¥550 - Garlic butter sautéed lobster for ¥1900 - Sea urchin and squid creamy garlic ajillo for ¥750 - Firefly squid and shrimp pasta with ikura and tobiko for ¥1950 - Snow crab and ikura rice bowl for ¥1000 Must-try dishes: - "Fish Roe Master's Serious Mille-Feuille": A combination of salmon, ikura, and tobiko that will elevate your mood. - Sea urchin croquette: Each person had one, and the combination was unbeatable. The rest of the dishes were also delicious, with highlights being the crispy shrimp, fried potato with karasumi, and the pasta with firefly squid and shrimp topped with plenty of ikura and tobiko. Overall, it was a delightful experience for fish roe lovers, and I look forward to revisiting the restaurant.

Today I came here to eat crustaceans. I ordered the affordable lunch course. First, I had a small lunch beer. The appetizer platter with two types of dishes was delicious! I especially liked the celery and crab marinade on the left side. The second dish was a salad with plenty of crab meat. It had more than I expected. It was delicious with various ingredients. Cheese and avocado were also included, which was nice. You can choose between baguette and focaccia for the bread. I chose focaccia (one piece per person). Hmm, it was just okay. Next time I'll try the baguette. For the drink, dessert, or cream croquette, I chose the croquette, of course. You can choose from various options, which is nice. Wow, this croquette is delicious (one per person). It's a creamy croquette with shrimp and crab. So tasty and creamy. But I started to feel full around this point. The pasta had a creamy sauce with snow crab and crab miso. Oh, it's salty. Delicious but salty. The flavor was strong, but the noodles were chewy and tasty. I finished everything, but I was really full. I had an additional glass of wine for 2500 yen. It felt like a great deal. And of course, for dinner, I had a light meal. I was full all the way until the evening. It was the perfect lunch for day drinking. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I had pasta. It's been a while since I visited the fish roe house. I used my POINTs from Tabelog just before they expired. I feel like I always order the same thing, don't I? I had a rich sea urchin and squid pasta. I'm not a fan of the chewy texture of fresh pasta, but the pasta and sauce here go well together and it's delicious. I also had apple juice as a drink. It was delicious!

"I visited 'Seafood Bistro Fish Roe House Eni' in Iidabashi, Tokyo (2-9-5 Iidabashi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) today for my 3-month check-up at a certain vascular surgery clinic in the morning. After finishing around noon, it was time for lunch. I noticed that this area is unexpectedly a 'curry paradise.' Despite being in the mood for curry, popular curry spots like Curry Bito, Bawan, and Ippeko were all full. I didn't have the energy to wait in the scorching sun, so I gave up on curry and decided to explore a new restaurant in Iidabashi. I spotted a restaurant that was just about to open, and my foodie senses were tingling. 'There's a fish roe cuisine specialty restaurant in Iidabashi too...' I peeked at the lunch menu at the storefront and found an interesting curry dish, so I decided to go in without hesitation. The restaurant was stylish, with great service from the female staff, but I couldn't help but feel concerned about the prices being too cheap. I ordered the following: - 'Mentaiko Yellow Curry' (850 yen) - 'Crispy Burdock Salad' (daily special, 100 yen) - 'Revival!! Eni Pudding' (250 yen) - 'Iced Coffee' (100 yen) First, the salad arrived, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion and quality for just 100 yen. The curry, true to a fish roe specialty restaurant, had mentaiko sitting proudly on top of the rice. The combination of coconut-based curry, mentaiko, mushrooms, and shrimp was surprisingly delicious. The curry had a rich umami flavor with mild spiciness, and the subtle spiciness and saltiness of the mentaiko complemented it perfectly. It got me excited with this unique combination. The pudding, served at the right time, was firm with a strong presence of vanilla beans, which I liked. 'Isn't this place pretty good?' I said, and soon after, female customers started flocking in, quickly filling up both the first and second-floor seats. The curry and pudding were sold out quickly. Later, I found out that this place is a popular spot in the Iidabashi area, even featured in 'Otona no Shumatsu' magazine. The fact that the food here is so delicious and affordable is fantastic. I'm already planning to come back. A great find of an unexpectedly good restaurant. #tomyamfoodie2023 #No_Spice_No_Life2023 #Seafood Bistro Fish Roe House Eni #Curry from a fish roe specialty restaurant #Mentaiko Yellow Curry #Coconut-based seafood curry #Great pudding place #Hard-type pudding #Want to connect with fish roe lovers #Want to connect with curry lovers #Iidabashi gourmet #CURRY memo 102 #yummyfile2023-116"

A two-story casual restaurant renovated from an old wooden house. It seems to be geared towards students and young people. The complimentary dish is sweet shrimp tempura, which is quite delicious. The most popular fish roe mille-feuille looks beautiful but tastes average, with a slight hint of wasabi soy sauce flavor. I wish they had added more creativity, like yuzu or something. The sea urchin croquette had a slight smell of the freezer and was not that great. It might depend on the timing of serving, as they probably make a batch in advance. If served fresh, it would probably be delicious, but this time it seemed to have been sitting for a while. The pasta was thick and chewy fresh pasta. I ordered the cold pasta with bonito (1,300 yen), crab cream (1,700 yen), and unlimited salmon roe topping (2,780 yen), but they all had the same pasta. I think the crab cream might be the best value. Well, if you want to eat fish roe, this is definitely the place to go! It's rare to find a place where you can eat plenty of fish roe, so it can't be bad.

I visited a fish roe shop that I had been curious about for a while for lunch. Since there were two of us, we each ordered pasta and also got a salad. The salad might be perfect for someone on a diet, as it was quite generous in portion and came with a small packet of dressing that you could add at the end. It had toppings like crab mixed in with the salad dressing, giving it a nice volume. The pasta was made with fresh noodles and had a good texture. I ordered the seafood tomato cream pasta, but personally, I found it a bit too salty. For a lunch that isn't paired with alcohol like dinner, I think a little less saltiness would be better. Despite that, I still managed to finish it all.

I visited for the anniversary this year as well. The food was all delicious, and I ended up eating too much. I also drank too much. The alcohol kept flowing, and I ended up going home drunk. I was so happy to eat plenty of shrimp and salmon roe! I usually go to restaurants in Nakameguro, but I ordered things that I can only eat at this restaurant! Everything was delicious. I will visit again next year.

This was my first visit to the restaurant. It was a hot day and the distance from the station felt a bit far, but walking in the shade of the building made me thirsty. I made a reservation for the affordable course. First, I tried the liver paste with popping fish eggs, topped with caviar, which added a touch of luxury. The mille-feuille with salmon, salmon roe, and avocado was very satisfying. The Eni letters were mixed up with caviar, creating a delightful mess. The fried potatoes with flying fish roe were crunchy and the sauce had a mentaiko flavor. I was already full when the Eni croquettes arrived. The shrimp sauce was okay, but the crab cream croquette with real crab was a luxurious treat. The pasta with plenty of salmon and shrimp looked amazing, but the thick noodles made it hard to finish. The oil-based pasta was easier to eat than the cream-based one, and we managed to finish it between the two of us. Finally, we had a refreshing kiwi gelato to cleanse our palates. Maybe this balanced out the calories and purines for the day? As we left, we were given a tasty snack stick with mentaiko flavor. Thank you for the meal.

I had been to this restaurant for lunch a few times, but I was intrigued by the evening menu focused on fish roe, so I made a reservation for a course with a friend. The course with all-you-can-drink starts from 6000 yen, but I felt the menu was a bit lacking so we went for the 7000 yen course. We were satisfied with our meal. The salad was a bit salty, but it had a summer feel to it. The restaurant was fully booked with reservations. It's a bit far from the station, so we might end up calling it a night after one round of drinks. Personally, I found the pasta to be pleasantly chewy and surprisingly delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had known about this restaurant for a while, but never had the chance to go in, so I entered with high spirits. The first floor had high chairs which I, being short-legged, am not a fan of, so I decided to use the second floor. The stairs were surprisingly steep, like a back staircase in a countryside house (laughs). Both the first and second floors felt cramped with tables, but customers kept coming in non-stop. Now, I ordered the Salmon Ikura Genovese Cream Pasta. I had imagined a typical Genovese green sauce, but it was different. It was more like a Salmon Ikura Cream Pasta with a hint of basil and cherry tomatoes. The cream sauce was delicious. I thought it could use a bit more salt, but perhaps they considered the balance with the salmon ikura. The vibrations felt every time someone went up and down the stairs added a unique touch. It made me wonder if the building would survive a major earthquake (bitter smile). I hope to try their famous Mille-feuille dish someday. For now, lunch was satisfying.

I made a lunch reservation and visited. It was a Saturday, but the restaurant was relatively empty and had a nice atmosphere. I tried various dishes and everything was delicious! They were accommodating to my request for extra fish roe, and I asked for extra salmon roe as well! However, the service on the second floor was a bit lacking in smiles and seemed a bit gloomy. It was a bright restaurant, so that was the only downside.

It was okay, haha. The taste was nothing special, so I wasn't that impressed. The Oreo cheesecake had too much gelatin and the lemon flavor was too strong, so it wasn't very tasty. I think it would be better with vanilla oil instead of citrus.

I entered the restaurant around 12:05, waited a bit, and was seated at a solo seat on the second floor. Today's pasta was "Tomato Pasta with Oil Sardines and Black Olives" for a little over 1,000 yen. I thought it was a bit expensive, but I ordered it and waited. The pasta, with plenty of olives, arrived in about 15 minutes. I finished it in less than 10 minutes, but I felt a bit unsatisfied. Next time, I'll go for the large size (plus 100 yen) for sure.

A bar located about a 5-minute walk from Iidabashi Station. This was my second visit. The specialty of the shop is fish roe. We ordered a plate of appetizers, crab salad, fish roe mille-feuille, sea urchin and squid ajillo, and pasta with salmon roe and flying fish roe. The fish roe mille-feuille, the specialty of the shop, was stylish and delicious. The wasabi and truffle flavor blended well. Overall, the food was delicious but slightly on the expensive side. I think it's not bad.

The appetizer was shrimp fry. We ordered the recommended menu, fish roe mille-feuille, crab cream pasta, aioli, and wine. The recommended menu was too expensive at 2000 yen, but it paired well with the wine. The crab cream pasta lacked crab flavor, had no ingredients, and the cream sauce was too light and didn't cling to the noodles. The aioli was average. The service was also average, but it was nice to see a welcome card prepared at the table.

I visited for lunch. There is a second floor, and I had to wait for about 5 minutes around 12:30. The pasta was chewy and delicious, but the garlic punch was strong and the flavor was intense. The cod roe spaghetti was 700 yen. I didn't order a salad, but it seemed like many people did as it was around 100 yen.

It was our second stop after already having a full stomach. We ordered some light appetizers, which were delicious and had a decent portion size. They had sparkling wine bottles starting from 3000 yen, so we felt comfortable ordering a bottle and enjoyed drinking slowly. Next time, I would like to try their seafood dishes.
