This is a unique restaurant where you can experience the authentic taste of Thai cuisine that is also enjoyable for Japanese people. What surprised me the most is that everything I tried was delicious! While Thai food is often associated with being spicy, even someone like me who doesn't like spicy food can enjoy the dishes here. The spacious and open interior creates a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are all friendly and approachable, making it easy to ask for recommendations. They have a wide variety of drinks, and there is a smoking room available for those who smoke. They also have comfortable sofa seating to accommodate families with small children. The restaurant and the restroom are both clean. It's rare to find a Thai restaurant in Tokyo where you can enjoy delicious food in a relaxing atmosphere, so I highly recommend it! I can't wait to go back again. I will upload a photo of my favorite Pad Thai dish!

I used it for a solo lunch. I arrived after 12:30 and there were a few empty seats. Thai music shows are playing. It's written in the shop, but the radio waves hardly come in. I was a little concerned about the FreeWifi, but... I thought it would be okay near the entrance, but that was also out, so I couldn't use payment methods like Paypay. App payments are inconvenient at times like this. I ordered Gapao. It arrived in about 3 minutes. Hmm, the amount of ingredients looks quite different from the photo... The spiciness is mild as stated on the menu. The rice portion is generous. Occasionally, the softness is a bit off. It has a decent taste, and the shop is clean, so it seems like a good place to relax. Next time, I might try Pad Thai. Thank you for the meal.

Tom Yum Ramen (1,000 yen) is delicious! The Khao Soi I had last time was also tasty with its rich flavor. I look forward to going for lunch as they offer daily specials. I also enjoyed a Singha beer for 750 yen. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I went there for lunch and managed to get a table just before it became full. The staff were friendly, and the Khao Man Gai I ordered had a delicious sauce that I couldn't stop eating. The prices are reasonable for lunch, and the food is so tasty that I would love to visit this place every day.

"Street Thai food is a recent trend, but this place is a Thai restaurant in town... authentic and affordable... (which is great). Today, I had the Khao Man Gai... chicken with a slightly spicy sauce poured over it, and you can add more if needed... The rice is also Thai rice, slightly firm with a unique aroma and texture that you can enjoy. It has a satisfying taste that you can fully experience in your nostrils. Adding some excitement to your daily meals, stimulating your appetite, ethnic food is essential for summer nutrition. At times like these, you can rely on the 'street Thai restaurant' that takes their business seriously. It may take some time to gain the same popularity as 'street Chinese food,' but I support them. Thank you for the delicious meal."

This was my first time using this place and it was listed on Tabelog. I haven't been to Akihabara in a while. This Thai restaurant offers lunch sets and individual dishes. I ordered the set which came with salad, soup, and a coconut-flavored dessert. The Pad Thai was on the wetter side but not too spicy and delicious. The large shrimp on top was impressive. It was a great lunch experience. Thank you for the meal!

I usually use it for lunchtime. Occasionally, I visited the same building as the charcoal-grilled fish restaurant ~Aburi Dokoro Hi no Zen Ochanomizu branch. It was still open and not that long ago. When I opened the door, I was greeted with bright and cheerful voices. It's a beautiful restaurant. Even though I was alone, I was guided to a table for two instead of the counter. The bench seat is spacious but leaning back is a bit difficult. The Tom Yum Kung Ramen costs 1000 yen including salad and dessert. It's nice, but in the case of noodles, I often struggle with when to eat the salad. I want to eat it first, but I'm worried about the soup getting cold or the noodles getting soggy, so I eat the noodles first. Then I end up eating the salad later, which is a bit disappointing. The Tom Yum Kung Ramen had crispy rice cracker-like toppings, three shrimp with one head-on, and slightly raw bean sprouts. The sesame flavor was strong, and the acidity was not as strong as I expected, not too spicy, and quite delicious. The dessert was beans and coconut, I think? It was sweet and a bit heavy. It reminded me of a similar dessert I had at a Vietnamese restaurant. It's a bright and cheerful Thai restaurant with a beautiful interior and friendly staff. I plan to visit again to try a different menu.

Exit from Exit 2 of Naka-Okachimachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and walk south on Showa Street for 50 meters. You will find "Motsu Hyoe" a couple of doors down, with a sign to mark the spot. The restaurant opened on November 30, 2022, and its name is inspired by the smiling country of Thailand. Previously a Chinese restaurant, it has been completely renovated and is now filled with Thai furnishings, with royal photos adding to the atmosphere. There are around 20 table seats for customers. The lunch menu includes Thai fried rice (pork or shrimp) and Thai ramen (chicken or pork) for ¥850, as well as basil rice (minced meat rice) and chicken rice for ¥950. For ¥1,000, you can enjoy dishes like Tom Yum Kung ramen, curry ramen, and Thai spaghetti. Today, I ordered Pad Thai (Thai-style fried noodles), which came with a salad, consommé soup, and edamame mousse for dessert. It was reasonably priced at ¥950 and had a decent portion size. The Pad Thai featured three large sautéed shrimp, dried shrimp, peanuts, and herbs. The noodles were made from rice flour and were cooked just right, with a good amount of moisture and a nice color from turmeric-dyed julienned daikon radish. The dish was colorful and full of ingredients. The payment process was smooth with PayPay. There were two groups of take-out customers, proving the restaurant's popularity. I definitely plan to visit again. Maybe I'll try the basil rice next time. Thank you for the meal.

The staff who greets you cheerfully with "Kopun, car!" makes the restaurant a pleasant place to visit! I had the daily special for lunch, which I believe was a chicken cutlet version of Khao Man Gai. The rice cooked in chicken broth and the chicken soup were delicious! The chicken cutlet went well with the sweet sauce, and overall it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the meal!

Tom Yum Kung Ramen for 1,000 yen. The ingredients in the Tom Yum Kung are completely different from the photo on the menu. There is no cilantro either. The difference is too big... There are no ingredients. Chili peppers, fish sauce, etc. are not even provided on the table. Will not visit again.

Located a 3-minute walk from Exit 2 of Naka-Okachimachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, on the B1F of a building along Showa Street, is the Thai restaurant "Yim Siam." I visited for the first time on a night in early December. The restaurant had just opened in late November, giving off a fresh and new atmosphere. The bright interior had around 40 seats, including counter and table seating. I chose a table for four. Although it was a bit difficult to find on B1F, the atmosphere inside was welcoming, with families dining as well. I started with a Jasmine Tea Highball (500 yen) in hand and looked through the menu, which offered over 60 items. I was torn on what to order but decided on the "Ko Kai To" (chicken cartilage tempura) for 1,100 yen. The Ko Kai To had a crunchy texture and was served with a spicy Thai sauce, making it a perfect snack with drinks. I initially planned to have just one Jasmine Tea Highball and head home, but ended up having a second one (^^). Thank you for the delicious meal.

Green Curry 950 yen → 855 yen I had lunch in Okachimachi. Today, I was planning to have green curry in Yushima, but on the way there, I found a newly opened Thai restaurant. It's located very close to my office. It opened on November 30th in the place where the Chinese restaurant "Shin Kinkei" used to be. I didn't notice it was open yesterday because I didn't pass by this street where the restaurant is located. They also serve green curry here. I entered at 11:37 am with one customer already inside and 9 customers coming in after me. I ordered the green curry, which was served in about 3 minutes. The green curry had chicken, eggplant, and herbs. The chicken was not tender enough to be easily eaten with chopsticks or a fork. The meat near the bone was half-cooked, with blood seeping out at the bone-meat boundary. Unsure if it was meant to be like this or if it was safe to eat, I ended up not being able to eat it. The curry had a sweetness from coconut followed by spicy heat. I ate it with basmati rice. Lastly, I refreshed my palate with tapioca milk after the meal. I used the 10% off coupon that came with the flyer at the entrance. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Reviewed during lunch on December 1, 2022. Rating: not applicable

Located along Showa Street in Naka-Okachimachi, a new Thai restaurant called Yim Siam has opened today. During lunchtime, I couldn't decide what to eat, so I decided to visit this restaurant. The underground interior is long and narrow, with a kitchen-facing counter for 5 seats and 7-8 tables. The Pad Ka Prao (950 yen including tax) is made with Thai rice. It has a sweet taste followed by a spicy kick. Personally, I think it could use more herbs. For dessert, they serve Tapioca Coconut Milk. The female staff members are fluent in Japanese. I initially thought they were Japanese, but they converse in Thai among themselves. Currently, there is a 10% discount flyer available at the storefront.

I went to this new place for the first time! The famous Khao Man Gai in Shin-Okachimachi was dry, but this Khao Man Gai was moist and flavorful. The rice was a bit firm and excellent!
