Three of us went, but none of us are big eaters, so we ordered the UFO for two people, which turned out to be a lot. It seems like the minimum serving size is set at two portions, but maybe it's because many people order it for two. The taste, atmosphere, and service at the restaurant were very satisfying. They mixed the cheese for us and even encouraged us to take photos! They were proactive in clearing the plates (maybe because closing time was approaching). We each ordered one drink, and it came to around 2600 yen per person. The only downside was that the background music was a bit loud. It wasn't so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation, but the catchy chorus of K-pop songs playing on repeat was a bit distracting.

On a holiday, there was a long line of people outside the restaurant using a QR code ordering system. During lunchtime, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat four kinds of appetizers, but the quality is low. I ordered cold noodles, but only the container was cold, and the contents were lukewarm. It was very disappointing to eat lukewarm cold noodles. I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

Before going to see a ballet at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, we decided to grab lunch at a Korean restaurant called "bibim'" on the 2nd floor of Ecute Ueno outside the Park Exit of JR Ueno Station. Since we were in Ueno, we all ordered the "Panda Bibimpa" without hesitation! The panda design was a bit cynical, but cute. Before eating, we ended up playing with the gochujang sauce. Not only cute, but the taste was also delicious.

This is my first visit. I'm not good with spicy food, so I ordered the Sundubu Ramen with zero spiciness. For lunch, there were around three kinds of side dishes available for all-you-can-eat, which was cost-effective, and there were many student customers. The restaurant was spacious, so I don't think you have to wait too long.

I came to this restaurant because I wanted to eat Jajangmyeon. It was early after opening, so there were few customers and it was quiet. The two young staff members in the hall and one in the kitchen chatted throughout. It was my first time ordering with a smartphone, so I was a bit confused, but managed to place my order. While waiting for the Jajangmyeon, I went to get the all-you-can-eat side dishes - shredded cabbage, kimchi, chijimi, and bean sprout namul. The chijimi had a crispy surface and was delicious. Finally, the long-awaited Jajangmyeon arrived...but it was disappointing, as the noodles were watery, possibly due to inadequate draining. Honestly, I thought it was not worth it for this price.

At the Ekiute in Ueno Station, there is a restaurant located outside the station. After exiting the Ueno Zoo side ticket gate, go up to the 2nd floor. The "Panda Bibimbap" costs 1480 yen (including 10% tax). It includes kimchi, namul, salad, and chijimi, all you can eat. Fill your plate little by little and enjoy while waiting for the bibimbap. It's here! The panda is so cute! The toppings on top are a bit small. Mix it all together, including the crispy rice.

This is a Korean restaurant located at Ecute Ueno, near Ueno Station Park Exit. They offer a buffet-style lunch menu with various side dishes like kimchi and namul. The lunch menu is priced at over 1,000 yen, which includes the buffet fee. You can order by scanning a QR code to minimize contact with staff. I ordered the Stone-grilled Pork Kimchi Cheese Bibimbap for 1,390 yen, which was served piping hot, so I had to wait for it to cool down. The kimchi was not too spicy and mixed well with the cheese and crispy rice. There is corn tea available at each table. Overall, the food was delicious and the self-ordering system made the experience more convenient.

First visit in May 2025 (No.3653) Ueno Station is a station often used for transfers, so I visited a newly opened store at Ecute Ueno (outside the ticket gate) that opened on April 27, 2022 (￣｡￣;) The brand is operated by "Korea Trading Japan Co., Ltd." established in 1985 (Showa 60), with multiple stores mainly in Osaka, but this time it is the first store opening in Tokyo~♬ I visited around 1:00 pm on a weekday, and the store was about 80% full, probably due to its direct connection to the station, so it was quite lively. Since it's a chain store, both the service and interior are decent. Draft beer 550 yen Being inside Ecute, the pricing is expected to be like this... (°°;) Jajangmyeon 1180 yen "Jajangmyeon," often seen in Korean dramas, is called "Chajangmyon," a dish that is essential and sets the stage for the story, like ramen in Japan. Having tried it three times before, I have a somewhat better understanding of what authentic "Chajangmyon" is, so I ordered the above item to deepen my understanding! Lunchtime is until 4:00 pm, and regardless of the dish ordered, you can enjoy four side dishes (kimchi, bean sprout namul, cabbage salad, chijimi) all you can eat, while waiting for the main dish to arrive in about 10 minutes. Due to the lighting in this restaurant, the color looks somewhat brownish and not visually appealing. The texture of the thinly sliced meat like chashu and onions is good, but the diced potatoes are a new type and... (;ﾟロﾟ)w The meat miso has a certain viscosity, but it doesn't mix well with the noodles, making it hard to call it a good dish (T-T) As you can see from the menu, there are many varieties of "Sundubu," so it seems like I ordered the wrong one (bitter smile). I went because I wanted to eat samgyeopsal. Samgyeopsal is only available on the terrace seats, but unfortunately it was raining that day. Although there was a roof, it was very cold and I couldn't sit there comfortably. The staff kindly cooked the samgyeopsal for me and set it up so that I could eat it inside the restaurant. The thick samgyeopsal was very delicious, and I enjoyed eating lots of lettuce wraps. The spiciness of the sundubu can be adjusted. The jeon was also chewy and delicious. Next time, I would like to eat on the terrace when the weather is nice.

The food was delicious, and the manager and staff were full of smiles and very kind. I will definitely go back.

In order to visit Ueno Zoo, it's best to eat beforehand. The restaurant is small and doesn't allow strollers inside. The food is delicious but the restaurant may not be very accommodating for families with children.
