Le Coquillage, a casual French restaurant located right next to Le Clo Montmartre in Kagurazaka. Despite the name meaning "shellfish" in French, the specialty here is actually pork. The restaurant is known for offering high-quality, generous portions at reasonable prices, making it a popular spot for authentic casual French dining. I visited for dinner, and it was easy to make a reservation on a weekday evening. The most affordable course is 5,800 yen for one main dish, followed by 7,500 yen for two main dishes, and a course including granita and an aperitif for 10,000 yen. I opted for the 7,500 yen course, which is quite reasonable for French cuisine. We started with a toast of orange juice, which was rich and delicious. The corn cold soup amuse-bouche was flavorful and refreshing. The warm bread was so good that I couldn't resist taking some home. For the appetizers, we had homemade pate and mini galettes, both of which were delightful. The main courses included scallops and pork fillet, both of which were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The desserts, vanilla and matcha ice cream, were rich and satisfying. Overall, the food was excellent, and I even found out that you can purchase some of their products for takeout or delivery.

The owner of this restaurant and I have met several times at Okabi, a members-only wine bar in Kagurazaka. It's always by chance that we run into each other. I bought a Chocolate Terrine the day before, and since the atmosphere seemed nice, I decided to pay a visit. The green door, red sofa, and bistro-style interior design make it feel like a place straight out of France.

The Chocolate Terrine is incredibly rich, almost like a Maron Glace Terrine made with plenty of rum. The Petit Fleur and coffee were also delicious. The cheese selection included MAROILLES A.O.P. from France, a cheese with a history of a thousand years, made by monks in Maroilles with a sticky texture and a strong flavor. Bistro Le Cocuyage, tucked away in a narrow alley off Kagurazaka, is a gem. I love the setting, the atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the value for money is excellent. It's a great restaurant in Kagurazaka.

I had the 6500 yen course! As a fan of appetizers, I was happy to see two appetizers. It seems like the restaurant specializes in seafood, as the scallop appetizer was delicious! My husband plans to try their lunch next time. I would like to try their lunch as well.

I enjoyed the course meal very much, it was delicious and reasonably priced. Each dish was well thought out with good ingredient combinations, and I had a great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, it was disappointing that the man who was consulted about the wine didn't even look at me and only talked to the man's family. I was the one doing the tasting. Also, the main dish, beef harami steak, I personally liked the use of spices, but it was too salty for the elderly. So I deducted a few points, but I would like to go again if I have the chance.

This restaurant is located just off a small alley near Iidabashi Station, going up towards Kagurazaka. It has a casual French feel but is very delicious! The smoked salmon is thick and flavorful, and the country-style pate has a satisfying texture. The galette speciality with succulent shrimp and the chocolate terrine are both as delicious as they are reputed to be! The only issue was that the bread was so tasty that I ended up eating a lot, not realizing how huge the portions were, and ended up with a very full stomach. I had made a reservation, so I was seated on a red sofa! The terrace seating is pleasant with a Provence-style atmosphere. Both the interior and terrace seats are very comfortable! The prices are not too high, the portions are generous, and the desserts are delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful restaurant experience!

After visiting gardens in Tokyo, we had lunch in Kagurazaka. We didn't make a reservation since we just stopped by after strolling through the gardens. We arrived at 1:30 pm and waited for about 30 minutes. The food, wine, dessert, and coffee were all delicious and served in generous portions. We ordered different dishes and shared them - appetizers, mains, desserts, and coffee - all for 2,800 yen. You can also get unlimited bread refills. The servings were so generous that we were really full. The glass of wine (white, red, rose, sparkling) was only 500 yen each, which is very reasonable. If you prefer larger portions than what you typically find in French restaurants, this place comes highly recommended. Thank you for the wonderful meal! 🍴

Farewell party with 6 people at Kagurazaka course. From the reservation by phone, the staff provided attentive and friendly service, which we appreciate. The atmosphere of the staff was great, the food was delicious, and we were satisfied. We enjoyed sparkling, white, and red wine by the bottle, which were easy to drink even for someone like me who doesn't drink much, and they were so tasty that I wanted more. I was too eager to eat and forgot to take pictures, but the chocolate terrine dessert was exquisite. The bread was also delicious, and I wanted to eat more.

It was the Kagurazaka course for 3,500 yen. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos. The course included two appetizers, a main dish, dessert, and coffee, with a complimentary sparkling wine for toasting. It was a great deal. The menu had a variety of options, making it hard to choose. However, the beef stew, which is popular among customers, was already sold out when we arrived at the opening time with a reservation. It was a bit disappointing. The cozy atmosphere of the small restaurant was relaxing. The food was delicious, so I would like to visit again.

I stopped by for a break during a walk in Kagurazaka. Managed to slip in with two people on a weekday in the 11 o'clock hour, and it seemed lucky as the other seats were reserved. They seemed to recommend the galettes, but I was not in the mood for wheat-based foods so I opted for the roasted young chicken. The salmon in the appetizer salad was delicious. The carrot rapé and ham were tasty as well. The chicken that was brought out freshly baked had a crispy skin and juicy interior, very delicious. It might have been the tastiest lunch I've had recently. With coffee included, it was affordable at 1500 yen per person, and I can see why it's popular. I was really curious about the chocolate terrine, but since the restaurant seemed busy, I decided to buy it online.

I went to a farewell party for the first time. First of all, the atmosphere of this place, located in the back alley of Kagurazaka, is very nice. The staff are all polite and make you feel comfortable. Even if you don't make a reservation, you can choose a course on the spot, which is very flexible. I ordered the Kagurazaka course and for appetizers, I ordered quiche and mini galette, both of which were very delicious. The main dish, recommended pork, was stuffed with herbs and was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The famous chocolate terrine can be taken home as a souvenir. I would definitely like to go again.

The route shown on the map didn't lead us to the shop. Also, there is a similar popular shop nearby, so it's easy to get confused. The interior with red sofas has a French atmosphere and is very pleasant. We enjoyed choosing from the prix fixe menu. I think it's a good value, including the wine.

A bistro on a small alley at the top of Kagurazaka. The food is delicious, and the portion size is amazing! I was so satisfied with both the quantity and quality of the appetizers that by the time I had the two main dishes, I was already full. And all of this for only 7500 yen, what a great deal! I was surprised by the portion size of the pate de campagne served as the second appetizer after the amuse-bouche. Is this really an appetizer? It's one of their specialties and it's delicious. The escargot for the second appetizer was of course tasty as well. It went down smoothly with the light sparkling wine. The scallop for the main dish tasted just as expected. It was average. The chicken confit had a crispy surface and a moist interior. And it was quite large. It paired well with the recommended New Zealand Pinot Noir. This wine was surprisingly delicious, with an elegant finish reminiscent of amino acids. It went well with the confit. The dessert was also delicious, with no table charge, generous portions, and great flavors. A bistro I would like to visit regularly.

I went to this restaurant with three friends for a meal. The place was packed on the weekend, located a bit off the main street in a casual bistro-like setting. We had two appetizers, one main dish, and dessert, and each dish had a good portion size. I chose salad, salmon, and chicken. My friends had escargot and duck for their appetizers. The flavors were well-matched with wine and delicious. I would like to visit again! Thank you for the meal.

Visited for lunch on Saturday with a reservation. It's been 3 years since my last visit. This place feels like the original bistro in Kagurazaka. I had the 2800 yen course with a glass of white wine. For the appetizer, I had quiche with basil. The main dish was pork belly confit, followed by a blueberry cream cheese tart. I also had an espresso after the meal. The white wine I had with the main dish was slightly sweet and paired well with the pork belly. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The interior had a local bistro feel with a touch of Japanese hospitality. The quiche was delicious with a basil sauce and a variety of fillings. They also offer takeout, which is a good option. The pork belly confit had a crispy exterior and a tender interior, although it required some effort to chew. The tart was exactly what I expected, with a blueberry cream cheese flavor and a nice touch of mint leaves. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience!

It's a cozy house located a short walk from Iidabashi Station and even closer from Kagurazaka Station. You can choose your own appetizers, main dishes, and desserts with generous portions. While the galettes are famous here, the other dishes are delicious too. I shared a main dish with my friend. The wine is also great value for money! My friend and I had two bottles and left feeling completely satisfied in both our stomachs and hearts.

I wanted to try the Terrine Chocolat, a gift with a satisfaction rate of 96%, so I went to lunch for the first time in a while. The lunch was still popular as always. I didn't make a reservation, but since it was a late lunch, there were empty seats, but they mentioned that the order might take some time due to being busy. I was in no rush, so I was okay with it and entered. Well, the popularity is a downside as the seats are close together. I chose Gazpacho for the soup, beautifully presented and with a refreshing taste. The main dish was fish, and for dessert, I had the Terrine Chocolat, which was not as heavy on the chocolate flavor as I thought, but rather light and rich. Overall, I enjoyed a French lunch after a long time during the post-meal drink.

After a long period of closure during the day, the restaurant reopened. I honestly thought they might end up closing for good, but I'm glad they didn't. I've known this restaurant for a while, but it's quite popular so it's hard to get in without a reservation. The place was fully booked even on this day. The staff's service is excellent. It's a world of difference compared to the neighboring restaurant where the staff seemed reluctant to be there. I made a reservation in advance for the 3500 yen course (2 appetizers, 1 main, 1 dessert). It's great that you can choose from a variety of options with the prefix menu. The dishes I had were: Smoked salmon with yogurt sauce, Marinated seafood in Gazpacho style, Coq au Vin, and Homemade crepe with salted caramel. Kagurazaka has many great bistros, but if I had to recommend one, it would be this one. The smoked salmon had a rich flavor with a good amount of salt, and the thick cut allowed you to enjoy the moist texture. The yogurt sauce with dill was a nice touch instead of sour cream. The marinated seafood was more like Gazpacho, but it was delicious and would satisfy Gazpacho lovers. I was looking forward to the Soup de Poisson listed on the website, but it was replaced with Gazpacho, perhaps due to the season. The main dish was Coq au Vin, a classic dish that I won't go into detail about this time. It was a red wine stew by Cuisse. It had a firm texture and the taste was exactly what I imagine when I think of homemade Coq au Vin, which I personally like. It had a mild acidity and a mellow flavor, and I thought it was delicious. For dessert, I had a crepe. There were many varieties available. The restaurant is known for its galettes, and it seems that crepes are also popular for dessert. The crepe was like those from a real crepe shop, with a large piece of dough. It's rare to find this kind of dessert in a restaurant, so it was great. The restaurant pays attention to details like the direction of the plates and the placement of the bread, as pointed out by a renowned chef who supervises the restaurant. It may be in the affordable price range, but you can feel the pride they take in their work. It was a very good restaurant. I look forward to trying their drinks next time. Thank you for the meal.

I came to this restaurant with my friends and even though it was a Monday, it was packed! It got me really excited. This time, we decided to go for a more mature vibe and ordered a la carte. The appetizer was like a gold rush mousse with bits in it, and it was gone in no time. The salad was fig and cottage cheese, refreshing with a nice touch of cheese. The place was really busy that day, so they gave us extra appetizers to make up for the wait. The clam sake steamed dish was half Honbinos, so we could compare flavors. I just wanted to soak in that broth! We had two kinds of quiche, spicy and perfect with drinks. For the main course, we had the special pork farshee and duck roast. It was my first time trying farshee, and it was so tender with a delicious mushroom and butter flavor. The duck was not too sweet, with a nice touch of acidity in the sauce. Even though I'm on a diet, I ate a lot and had sweet dreams. The staff and chef were all so kind and lovely. This bistro was a big hit, and I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

With a friend. *Restaurant* Located in a back alley up a slope towards Kagurazaka from Iidabashi Station. The exterior is stylish, giving off a European vibe in this corner. Despite being late on a weekday, the place was bustling with mostly female customers. It was a good decision to make a reservation before going. *Food* After debating between meat dishes, I ended up ordering a galette. I was satisfied with the salad and galette. You can also add a drink and dessert for an additional 100-300 yen. A restaurant I would like to visit again.

I finally visited a restaurant I wanted to try. As soon as I entered a side street off Kagurazaka Street, the atmosphere changed completely. The initially empty seats quickly filled up! We ordered a la carte, and each dish was very generous in portion size, leaving us completely satisfied! Most importantly, the food was incredibly delicious! The wine was also recommended to us at just the right timing to match the dishes, and the atmosphere was great. It was a wonderful restaurant experience.

I visited for my mother's birthday celebration. The service was very polite and I was truly happy. The food was delicious, and many women were dining alone, so I understand why this place is popular for its atmosphere and quality of food. I will definitely visit again.
