Exiting from the north exit of "Ikejiri-Ohashi" station and going straight ahead, there is a building with a sushi restaurant on the first floor, and the shop is located on the fifth floor. There is an elevator at the back left of the building, so take it up to the fifth floor. This time, I opted for a non-alcoholic pairing and added two glasses of sake. Despite not being knowledgeable about alcohol, they understood my vague request and served me sake that matched my preferences. It had been a while since I had sake, but it was very delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, the food was well-prepared and tasty, and the service was excellent. However, as a foodie, I felt the portion was a bit small and wished for more. The additional rice dish requires a minimum of two people, so I didn't request it this time, but I will inquire about it next time if there is one. The dishes and drinks that left a lasting impression include: - "Yama no Sawameki" (Boar, Butterbur Sprout, Green Olive): Boar meat resembling corned beef with mashed butterbur sprouts and olives sprinkled on top. The boar meat was delicious without any gamey taste, and it paired well with the bitter butterbur sprouts. - "Shuncho" (Spear Squid, Century Egg): Boiled spear squid served with mashed century egg. It was incredibly delicious and disappeared quickly. - "Sakura Sakura" (Cherry Sea Bream, Sake Lees, White Shimeji Mushroom, Spring Onion, Cherry Blossom): A visually stunning dish with a delicate white fish and flavorful sake lees soup. The soup was so delicious that I wanted more. - Saffron Apple: A drink, probably apple juice, flavored with saffron. It had a subtle alcohol-like taste, perfect for adults. - Roasted Black Beans, Honey, Black Pepper: Black beans roasted and simmered with black pepper and honey for flavor. It seemed to contain alcohol, but it was not noticeable at all. The subtle sweetness of honey and the flavor of black beans blended well, and I finished it quickly. It was a place suited for intimate conversations with loved ones or for relaxing alone. The menu is expected to change around the end of April, so I look forward to visiting again around that time.
