Today I am working from home. The election campaign cars are noisy, so I escaped to the nearby Starbucks. I ordered the store-exclusive new product, Oriaat Oat Milk Latte. Nice to meet you, Starbucks Torie Keio Chofu store. I arrived much earlier than the meeting time, so I decided to enjoy Chofu after a long time by relaxing on the terrace overlooking the rotary with a coffee. Oh, I forgot to take a picture of the drink, but well, drinks are pretty much the same everywhere, so let's skip that. The terrace was comfortable with a nice shade, a pleasant breeze, and well-placed greenery.

After enjoying spaghetti and shirasu pizza in Chianti at midnight, I headed to the Starbucks Reserve store. The weather was nice, so I sat on the terrace and had a short cold brew (400 yen). The spaghetti in Chianti was quite garlicky, so I finished the cold brew quickly and decided to add a short Sumatra straight coffee (650 yen) unique to the Reserve. The staff invited me to watch the drip process, which was a rare experience. I watched the beans, the blooming grounds, the drip, and the coffee being prepared, which was a lovely service. Additionally, I was given a mini size Kenya to enjoy while waiting for the drip. I had a luxurious time savoring the deep flavor of the Kenya with a good bitterness and the smooth taste of the Sumatra with sweetness, along with almond milk cake. With the terrace seating, the Reserve store in Chofu is a strong candidate for a coffee break. Thank you for the meal. Visited on Sunday at 12:30. Located on the 2nd floor of the Chofu station building. The interior of the store is spacious and particularly stylish among Starbucks. There are also outdoor seats, and although not very high, you can enjoy a view of the cityscape. Since it was quite crowded, I decided to take out instead of dining in. Used One More Coffee. Today, I enjoyed a morning meal here while reading a book before starting work. Morning coffee is a great way to start the day. I relaxed and had the Teriyaki Chicken Stone Oven Focaccia. After leaving Chofu Station, there is a Starbucks inside Tri. Right after exiting the ticket gate, there is a convenient elevator that directly connects to it. The Starbucks here has terrace seats, which are very relaxing. On this day, I ordered a sweet potato frappuccino, and it was delicious!

[2021/12/30] Today, I took a break at Starbucks while going to the bank. I had the Nitro Cold Brew Coffee, which I haven't had in a while, along with the new Classic Tiramisu. The smooth mascarpone cream was delicious. It was so good that I couldn't resist finishing it all. [2020/10/11] After finishing my errands in the morning and preparing a quick lunch at home, I went out for some shopping. I stopped by the Starbucks Reserve at Torie and tried the Bolivia Buena Vista Estate coffee, which is a Geisha variety. When I had it as iced coffee, I could taste a fruity freshness with hints of orange and apricot, despite the beans having a solid body. It might be the right choice to drink it iced. I also tried the Sweet Potato Chiffon Cake, Pumpkin Tart, and Roasted Chestnut Mont Blanc. We divided them among my parents and me, but eventually, the Pumpkin Tart stole the show. [2020/10/03] I changed the Vanilla Cream Frappuccino to almond milk and added caramel sauce. The almond flavor became quite strong, but next time, I might change the vanilla syrup to almond toffee syrup for an even more almond-centric taste. I also tried the East Timor and Indonesia coffees from the Reserve. The Indonesia coffee had a better cost-performance ratio and had a nice caramel and chocolate flavor, which I enjoyed.

[2020/08/11] After shopping at Costco, I planned to grab a quick bite at the food court before heading home, but the seating area had been significantly reduced and there were no seats available, so I gave up. Instead, I returned to Chofu and had lunch at the Starbucks in Tri. Since I also needed to buy coffee beans, it was killing two birds with one stone. I was torn between the Meatball Focaccia and the Shrimp Bisque Focaccia, but ended up choosing the Meatball Focaccia. There were more meatballs than I expected! The sauce was a mix between tomato and demi-glace, with a rich and savory flavor. The cheese melted beautifully and the aroma of oregano baked into the focaccia was very appetizing. It had been a while since I had lunch at Starbucks, but it was just right for a casual meal. However, Starbucks is still filled with people working or studying on their laptops, making it difficult to find a seat and causing slow turnover, which is not very pleasant. Decaf Costa Rica Hacienda Alsacia ¥580 + tax (S size) I ordered beans grown in their own farm, and they were freshly ground in front of me, one cup at a time. It was an entertaining experience! The combination of coldness and rich smoothness made it a blissful cup.

I apologize for the continued Starbucks reviews, but this will be the last menu for tomorrow. The item I received was as follows (excluding tax): - Sparkling Strawberry Frappuccino 640 yen There are two types of strawberry Frappuccinos, and the Sparkling Strawberry Frappuccino will be discontinued on June 20th. The one with chunks will still be available for about another month. I originally planned to have coffee, but changed my mind and went for the Frappuccino instead. The Sparkling Strawberry Frappuccino is a fizzy frozen drink with chunks of strawberry sauce and soft jelly, topped with whipped cream and more strawberry sauce. Unlike the one with chunks, I didn't experience any fruit chunks getting stuck in the straw. It seemed sweeter overall compared to the one with chunks, or maybe that was just my imagination. It's interesting that the two drinks released simultaneously have different end dates. Some stores may already be sold out, so if you were interested, please be aware that it's only available until tomorrow.

[2020/04/22] Although Starbucks is currently closed, I had lunch there last month. I had the Sliced Sausage & Mozzarella Tomato Soft Roll and the Egg & Keema Curry Danish. The soft roll was light and fluffy, perfect for breakfast. The sandwich with tomato and mozzarella was gentle on the stomach. Of course, I had to get a Butterscotch Frappuccino on the way back. Also, I really liked the India Pearl Mountain Estate Reserve coffee. It's an Asian bean but doesn't have a strong earthy taste, making it a refreshing choice. And the price is reasonable! A great value reserve coffee indeed. ("Hang in there, Starbucks!") [2020/03/13] Let's catch up on some Starbucks stories. I tried the Sakura Milk Pudding Frappuccino that started on February 15, and it was good for takeout. The milk pudding texture was nice, and the cherry blossom scent wasn't overpowering. Next up was the Sakura Cherry Frappuccino. The cherry blossom sugar added a nice touch of Japanese flair. I preferred this one over the Sakura Milk Pudding. Now, onto the new food items for the season. The Roast Beef Focaccia had a tasty oregano flavor, but the roast beef was a bit overcooked. The Salmon Cream Vegetable Focaccia, on the other hand, was delicious with a nice salmon and white sauce combination. Now, let's not forget about the Reserve coffees. The Jamaica Blue Mountain is truly the king of coffee with its rich flavor and aroma. Expensive but worth it. The India Pearl Mountain Estate had a sweet and nutty taste, a great choice for the price. Lastly, the Nicaragua Dipilto Maracaturra was juicy with a refreshing acidity, perfect for an iced coffee. New items have arrived, like the Butterscotch Coffee Jelly Frappuccino, which had a delicious sweet and salty sauce. However, the coffee jelly texture was different this time, closer to agar. Also, there are now more milk options, including Oat Milk (limited time) and Almond Milk. I love Almond Milk, so I'm happy about this addition! Starbucks now offers almond milk and oat milk in addition to regular milk and soy milk! Almond milk has become a permanent option, while oat milk is available for a limited time until April 8th. The extra charge of 50 yen is totally worth it! I've been trying to cut back on dairy milk lately, so I'm thrilled about this. While soy lattes are healthier, I find that they lack the richness and flavor of regular milk, so I often opt for a regular latte instead. However, almond milk doesn't have that same gap compared to soy milk, and it manages to be both delicious and healthy as a latte! It has a subtle nutty aroma and goes down smoothly without feeling heavy in the stomach. I don't feel bloated after drinking it, and I can still eat a meal afterwards without any issues. I also tried oat milk, which has a grainy sweetness to it, but I think I prefer almond milk. It's rare to have so many options at a chain like Starbucks, so I'll probably be visiting more often now.

After Christmas, some of the food and drinks have changed. Here we have a Matcha White Chocolate Frappuccino, made with light syrup. Lately, I've been switching to fat-free milk, so it's quite refreshing to drink. I prefer soy milk, but it tends to make it too sweet. On this day, I had an Ebibroccoli Cream Focaccia Sandwich with Bolivia K'isiro Farm Java. It was delicious and had a clean taste. The price is a bit high though. I also had the classic Nitro Cold Brew Coffee, which is best enjoyed in a glass. The glass gives it a nice mouthfeel. Next, I tried the Costa Rica Las Lomas Initiative, which was also delicious and reasonably priced for a reserve bean. I paired it with a Mushroom & Mozzarella Stone Oven Focaccia. The cheese melts beautifully and the mushrooms add a nice flavor. I was really hungry, so I also ordered a Bacon and Spinach Quiche. I definitely overate that day. I also had a Root Vegetable Chicken Salad Wrap and a Chicken & Tomato Mozzarella Danish. The cheese in the Danish was melty and delicious. The new drink I tried was the Azuki Red Bean Warabi Mochi Lucky Frappuccino, with fat-free milk, light syrup, and extra whip. It had a freeze-dried red bean taste and a gooey warabi mochi at the bottom. Lastly, I craved something less sweet, so I got a Nitro Cold Brew Coffee. Nitro is always the best.

[2019/12/04] First, Hitoshi Sugiura x Stone Oven Filone Chicken Tomato & Mozzarella Cheese. The chicken is quite large, so it's very satisfying to eat. I thought about switching to the Holiday Chicken, but it seems like it's not being released this year. Here we have the Bacon Cheese Potato Hot Salad Wrap. It's been a while since I had a warm salad wrap. At 380 yen, it's quite affordable and seems just right for when you're feeling a bit peckish. Another day. I tried out some new food items at the usual Starbucks while enjoying a Reserve coffee. First up, the Pastrami Beef Focaccia Sandwich. This is not the first time Starbucks has had a focaccia sandwich, but it's always a welcome addition. The focaccia with a strong oregano flavor is soft and fluffy. There was a good amount of pastrami beef in it, making it quite filling. I personally thought a bit more cheese would have been nice. Then, I got two cakes to go on this day. The Ichiei Taguma x Dessert Chocolat Discovery and the Ichiei Taguma x Dessert Strawberry Discovery. I preferred the Chocolat Discovery with its strong chocolate flavor. Next, the Shrimp Broccoli Cream Focaccia Sandwich. It uses the same focaccia as the Pastrami Beef one. The combination of white sauce and shrimp reminded me of shrimp gratin and I preferred this over the pastrami. The plump shrimp was delicious. As a dessert, I also tried the Nutty White Chocolate Frappuccino. It's a dessert drink with a fragrant hazelnut flavor. I have a feeling it would be even more delicious with added chocolate (like chocolate chips or chocolate sauce). [2019/11/02] Before I knew it, it was November. The year is coming to an end in just two more months. Time seems to pass by faster each year, and it leaves me amazed. But there are still plenty of fun things to enjoy, like Starbucks' Holiday promotions that started yesterday. The new food items are also worth checking out. Here we have the Cheese Tart collaboration with BAKE. The tart with a white crust is the "BAKE CHEESE TART x Starbucks Cheese Tart," and the one with a darker crust is the "BAKE CHEESE TART x Starbucks Holiday Cheese Tart (Walnut, Maple, Cocoa Tart)." BAKE's cheese tarts are known for their creamy texture, but these are more on the baked side. The plain cheese tart has a richer cheese flavor compared to the original. I personally liked the Holiday Cheese Tart more, with its nutty aroma making it a favorite. By the way, if you purchase two or more, you get this cute box. [2019/10/27] For lunch, I went to Starbucks after a long time. I chose the Salmon Cream Cheese & Tuna Sandwich. I really like this one. There was just one left in the chilled case, so I grabbed it quickly. The dill-flavored smoked salmon sandwich is light and delicious, and the tuna one is moist and also a favorite of mine. The price of 580 yen is not so cute, but considering it as time and place to relax... And I also bought the Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie to go. I've already tried the Apple Pie, so my thoughts are the same, but the Pumpkin Pie was my first this season. It had a rich and creamy pumpkin flavor. It was moist and smooth, and very delicious. Additionally, here are some other recent Starbucks stories. The Sausage Pie is a favorite of mine, and I often reorder it, but the Bacon Spinach Hot Sandwich was a first. It reminded me of the Spinach & Cheese Filone from last year. It had shimeji and eringi mushrooms, which brought back memories. I wish it was a bit bigger, but it was a tasty sandwich. Another day at Starbucks for lunch. I was in the mood for chicken, so I got the Ham Cheese & Basil Chicken Sandwich. Basil and chicken go well together. I might try making a basil chicken pasta at home sometime. And on my way back, I got the Halloween Dark Night Frappuccino, the white drink.

From September 1st, a collaboration food item with a specialist has been introduced. This is the "Hitoshi Sugiura x Stone Oven Filone Roast Pork". It combines roast pork with eggplant, carrots, burdock, and more. With the sweet and sourness of balsamic, it's a slightly Italian sandwich. I feel like the roast pork could be a bit thicker. Another collaboration item is the "Hitoshi Sugiura x Stone Oven Filone Smoked Chicken Mushroom". The mushroom flavor is quite strong in this one. Also introduced on September 1st is the Apple Crumble Pie. It's a luxurious apple pie made with red apples. I, of course, had it with whipped cream. The crispy apples and crumble texture are enjoyable. A satisfying apple pie indeed. Additionally, since it's Starbucks, I had the Reserve Coffee after a long time. I tried the "Ecuador Loja" introduced in September. It's a juicy and refreshing coffee with a slight acidity. Perfect for drinking iced! I paired it with the "Hitoshi Sugiura x Salad Wrap Vegetable Chicken" and the "Tuna Melt with Tomato English Muffin". The English Muffin is quite nostalgic, as it hasn't been available for a while. The Salad Wrap has a cumin sauce, giving it an ethnic touch. Surprisingly, there were dried bean curd shreds in it, adding a Chinese flair. The English Muffin could have had a bit more tuna, as the bechamel and cheese made it taste more like eggs. For my second cup, I had the Sulawesi Toraja Sapan Village iced. Asian coffees are not my usual choice, but it's nice to have them as a single cup at the store. Asian coffees have a distinct earthy aroma, but when iced, the scent becomes milder and easier to drink. Today, new items were introduced, but I'm just here for lunch. I had the "Spinach Egg & Sausage English Muffin" and the "Root Vegetable Chicken Salad Wrap". I also had a regular iced drip coffee. The Salad Wrap has a sesame dressing, giving a true salad-eating experience. It's a salad you can easily eat with one hand. The English Muffin contains Bologna sausage and spinach scrambled eggs, but the sausage was a bit thin, resembling ham more than Bologna sausage. The new Apple Pie released today is made with Fuji apples. The apples have a crisp texture and are soft, melting in the mouth. The pie crust was perfect since it was warmed. With whipped cream, caramel sauce, and cinnamon powder, it became a satisfying dessert. Today marks the start of Starbucks' autumn promotion. I casually visited the Trieste Starbucks around 10 a.m. After that, I went to the Parco Starbucks and returned to the Trieste Starbucks for a break. I took a break with Chocolate in Chocolate and iced coffee. The chocolate was smaller than expected, more like two bites. I happened to meet a familiar customer from a seminar, and we exchanged information while taking a break. I ended up receiving a sample of the muffin that was supposed to be distributed yesterday. It was the Ootsubo Homare x Muffin Blueberry Soy Milk, with a mild sweetness and a small size, making it very easy to eat. Additionally, I had the Salmon Cream Cheese & Tuna Sandwich from Starbucks the other day. It's still delicious. Salmon and cream cheese (or sour cream) are a classic combination. It's a reminder of the past.

I visited on September 30th. I stopped by to relax a bit on my way back. The atmosphere here at night is very nice. The lighting is somewhat dim, but that dim lighting creates a calm atmosphere. It might be nice to spend time here at this time of day occasionally. I ordered a Coffee Frappuccino. It was probably my last purchase before the tax rate increase. The sweetness of the Coffee Frappuccino seeped into my tired body and it was a very good mood changer. Now, the tax rate will increase starting tomorrow. Let's make smart purchases.

I had some business at the agency and finished earlier than expected, so I decided to adjust my time at Starbucks. I went to the Starbucks on the second floor of TriA, a commercial facility built on the former railway line due to the Keio Line underground project. There is also a Starbucks on the second floor of the nearby Parco, but this one is more stylish and popular. I ordered a S Chai Tea Latte (with soy milk) for 486 yen. Today it's rainy and the temperature and humidity are low, so I'm warming up while feeling the ginger flavor.

【2019/08/14】Yesterday, I went to a Starbucks Reserve coffee seminar for the first time in a while. We ended the seminar with a pairing of Sulawesi coffee and New York cheesecake. Eating the cheesecake with citrus fruit was surprisingly refreshing and delicious. This combination is actually not available in regular stores because the citrus fruit is meant to be mixed into drinks, not used as a topping for food. But during the seminar, this kind of special request is possible. It was a fun and enjoyable experience. I also want to share a bit more about my visits to Starbucks. Even on my days off, I find myself going to Starbucks a few times a week. Sometimes I have a meal there too. Recently, I tried the Egg & Ham Cheese Sandwich. It had two types of egg fillings - boiled egg and egg salad, and the sandwich was filled right to the edges with ingredients. It was a bit pricey, but worth it. I also tried the Coffee & Espresso Cake Lemon, which was more lemony than custard-like, as someone pointed out. It was a perfect cake for summer. I've been enjoying the Nitro Cold Brew quite frequently on August 4th, 7th, and 9th. The Bolivia Buena Vista Estate brewed with Clover was not as clear as the Chemex brew. Today, I had lunch at Starbucks after a long time. I tried the last of the newly revamped sandwiches, the BLT & BLT Egg Sandwich. Unfortunately, it was my least favorite. The bread was too soft and hard to eat, and the ketchup was oddly sweet. I think a stronger flavor or a mayonnaise-based sauce would have been better for a BLT sandwich. In my ranking, the Salmon Cream Cheese & Tuna Sandwich was the best, followed by the Ham Cheese & Basil Chicken Sandwich, the Egg & Ham Cheese Sandwich, and then the BLT & BLT Egg Sandwich. For dessert, I had the American Scone Lemon Poppy Seed. It was a reliable treat, although the poppy seeds tend to get stuck in my teeth. But I love the crunchy texture. The lemon flavor was refreshing and perfect for summer. 【2019/08/01】Due to a smartphone issue, I had to wait at the DoCoMo shop for 1 to 1.5 hours, so I decided to grab lunch at the Starbucks in Tri. I had the Salmon Cream Cheese & Tuna Sandwich and an iced coffee. I also bought some coffee beans since they were running low. The sandwich had a nice smoked salmon flavor with a hint of dill, but the soft bread made it a bit messy to eat. The Tuna Sandwich was also delicious with a generous amount of tuna. If only it was a bit cheaper. 【2019/07/25】I visited the Starbucks in Tri again today to try their newly revamped sandwiches. They have four new options: BLT & BLT Egg Sandwich, Salmon Cream Cheese & Tuna Sandwich, Ham Cheese & Basil Chicken Sandwich, and Egg & Ham Cheese Sandwich. I wanted to try the Salmon Cream Cheese & Tuna Sandwich, but it was sold out, so I went for the Ham Cheese & Basil Chicken Sandwich instead. It was a return to the classic triangular sandwich, and although I preferred the Salmon Cream Cheese & Tuna Sandwich, this one was still tasty.

I visited this place twice but couldn't get in because it was full. This time, I came in the morning to wait for the opening of Pakupaku Kumokuma-Do, and I asked if it was okay to enter. The restaurant was about 80% full, with about 60% of the terrace seats occupied. You can access the terrace through two sliding doors. Since a sofa seat opened up, I sat on the terrace but had to move inside due to the heat. It was fun to see that there were sofa seats where two people could sit comfortably, especially with a small child. If you are alone, you can relax and even place your belongings. I ordered the following items (excluding tax): - Cold Brew Coffee (Short) 330 yen Although this is a reserve store, I ordered from the regular menu. The taste was not clear, but it was delicious on a hot day. I would like to visit the terrace seats during good weather.
