When I got off at Kanda Station for work, I noticed a coupon on Eatigo when I looked up and saw rain? I realized that I could eat a la carte after work, so I decided to have yakiniku before heading home. It's Sendai beef! My family member currently lives in Sendai, so I must have had a connection. During the pandemic, there was talk about safe restaurants - those with counter seats separated by acrylic panels like soba shops or ramen restaurants, high-end places that are expensive and not crowded, feeling like a private room, and yakiniku restaurants with good ventilation from the start. So, I have been keeping an eye on yakiniku restaurants since last year! There were already other customers inside, such as salarymen and groups of office ladies, but the booths were partitioned off so you couldn't see their faces at all, only hear their voices. The ventilation seemed to be working well with ventilation fans placed at each table, even when the seats were empty, making it a safe dining option during the pandemic. As an aside, I ordered a la carte items such as salad, kimchi assortment, yukhoe, premium tongue, recommended sirloin, intriguing deep-fried tofu dumplings, premium tripe, premium kalbi, and a three-piece meat sushi platter... I ate while considering the amount I could finish by the closing time of 8 p.m. The draft beer was cheap, the yakiniku was delicious, and most importantly, it was a yakiniku that could lift your spirits even during the pandemic, making it a hit, perhaps due to its location? It had a good cost performance. There are more "rice refugees" during both lunch and dinner, and I am grateful and supportive of the restaurants that are working hard to operate while taking measures against the pandemic. This is crucial right now. If I have work in Kanda again, I would like to stop by.
