I heard rumors that this place used to be a long-established restaurant, but has now been rebranded and reopened. It had a familiar atmosphere with many regular customers. The clientele seemed to be mostly adults. The cuisine is French-based, but they also offer dishes like shrimp mayo potato croquettes. The default serving size is for two people, but they also offer half portions. They have a selection of classic wines, with prices around 2000 yen for champagne and 1300 yen for a glass of white wine. The dishes were all well-seasoned and delicious. The eggplant salad, shrimp mayo, crab cream croquette, and the classic spicy pepperoncino pasta were all excellent. It's not cheap, but it's a great choice for when you want to indulge in a luxurious meal.

I visited this restaurant for a meal. All the dishes were delicious! The cleanliness of the restaurant and the balance of the staff's customer service were excellent, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The hamburger steak was meaty and gave me the sensation of truly enjoying the meat! I definitely want to go back to this restaurant!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy with a homey feel around the counter, but still chic. Maybe it's because the customers are all elegant? There were many menu items that I tried for the first time, which was fun and delicious. The selection of wines by the glass was also excellent. The chef prepared all the dishes by himself, and I was impressed by his skillfulness. He was also a wonderful person. I had such a great time that I completely forgot to take photos.

Pobuiyu was a bistro that used to be in Ebisu. The atmosphere of the restaurant was open, but the counter seat around the owner, Mr. Fukushima, was considered the best seat where regular customers could order their favorite dishes. After Pobuiyu closed, Mr. Fukushima opened a new restaurant called "Fukushima" in Shirokanetakanawa. Just when everyone thought that would be his final home, Pobuiyu was revived. However, this time the restaurant is called "Pobuiyu Stand," and Mr. Fukushima continues to operate in Shirokanetakanawa with two long-time staff members. The atmosphere is typical of Mr. Fukushima's style - a place where you can enjoy delicious food and a variety of drinks, including wine and shochu. The food has an izakaya-style feel but is definitely tasty, showcasing his true skills.

Pot Bouille is a fantastic restaurant located in Ebisu. It opened in March this year and offers counter seating as well as private counter seating in the back, making it a great spot for adults who want to enjoy delicious food and drinks. The lively manager adds to the enjoyable atmosphere as you chat and snack on tasty dishes at the counter. Here are some of the highlights from the menu:
- Potato salad with half-boiled egg: A hearty and delicious dish with a nice touch of acidity from the tomatoes.
- Water eggplant and fruit tomato salad with prosciutto: A perfect pairing with wine.
- Fresh seafood in garlic oil: This dish is amazing, especially when you dip the bread in the flavorful garlic oil.
- Spicy grilled tripe: The hint of cumin and spices make this dish incredibly tasty.
- Grilled chikuwa with seaweed: Highly recommended and absolutely delicious.
- Spicy Peperoncino with squid ink pasta: Spicy and flavorful, a must-try.
- Dessert: Custard, yogurt sherbet, and sour milk butter. Truly impressive.
- Wine selection: Pouilly-Fumé, Burgundy Chardonnay, Clos de l'Ermitage Equinoxe.
Pot Bouille is a wonderful restaurant that you must visit. Make a reservation soon and enjoy a great dining experience. Don't miss out on this gem!

I visited during the time in Shirokanen and this was my first visit after the relocation. I came for drinks and some snacks. The Shiitake Tart Flambe with mushrooms was unexpectedly delicious and went well with bread. Since they didn't have Tripe or Tulip, I opted for the fried chicken. The dessert pudding was firm and tasted like Milanese pudding. I regret not coming here first. It's a bit disappointing that the kitchen is no longer visible. Thank you for the meal!

Located between Hiroo and Ebisu, this street-side restaurant is perfect for social gatherings. The main seating area consists of a counter with 10 seats, but there is also a private room in the back. Run by Chef Fukushima, known for his work at Over Canals, Molesk, and Sakaba Garance, this restaurant has made a comeback after being in Ebisu a few years ago. The dishes served here are all to my liking, as I am a big fan of the aforementioned restaurants. Some of the dishes we had this time included: - Horse mackerel and coriander salad - Prosciutto and Gruyere cheese salad - New onion salad - Mozzarella and nagaimo caprese - Drooling pork - Crab cream croquette - Tulip (fried dish) - Beef sirloin steak - Beef cutlet - Tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) cutlet sandwich - Mazesoba (mixed noodles) - Today's pasta - Seven spice pasta - Pudding - Yogurt sherbet We were able to eat a lot since there were many of us! The variety of salad options was great, and the chef's skillful use of spices and herbs added a nice touch to the dishes. The rich crab cream croquette and the tulip with a hint of cumin were highlights. You can order fried dishes individually, which is convenient. The tamagoyaki cutlet sandwich was not only visually impressive but also delicious and worth having again. The simple yet unforgettable seven spice pasta was surprisingly spicy! The adjacent diner was also impressed by it. Overall, the dishes had a bold flavor profile, perfect for pairing with wine. The selection of wines by the glass was also excellent. The restaurant was constantly busy with customers coming and going, eagerly awaiting the return of this beloved establishment. With taxis passing by right in front of the restaurant, it's easy to get home, even on rainy days.

- Crab cream croquette
- Beef cutlet

- Pasta with seven spice pepperoncino

The restaurant offers stylish ambiance and delicious food. Although it's a bit hidden away from the station, there was a constant flow of what appeared to be regular customers coming and going.

Located in Tokyo's Hiroo district, the restaurant "Pot-Bouille" opened in March 2023. Situated on the ground floor along Meiji Street, the restaurant is owned by Naoki Fukushima, who has also been involved in other establishments such as "Fukushima" and "Sakaba Garansu." The menu offers a wide range of dishes, from Western cuisine to potato salad, dishes with French influences, and even Tom Yum Ramen. The interior features a counter at the entrance and private rooms towards the back. It seems to be a popular spot among regular customers, as I witnessed a phone call from a regular customer during my visit, arranging to come in later that day. Knowing about this kind of place would surely earn you the title of a gourmet aficionado.

To the relocated Pot-Bouille, located between Ebisu and Hiroo, the interior features a counter in a U shape and private rooms in the back, creating a cozy wine bar atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of dishes a la carte, including French classics like tarte flambee, as well as unique options like drool-worthy pork, fried horse mackerel, chicken nanban, and Tom Yum Kung ramen. ● Duck and burdock pate - ¥1200 A flavorful pate with a strong burdock taste. ● Shiitake tarte flambee - ¥1200 A thick tarte flambee loaded with shiitake mushrooms. ● Fried horse mackerel - ¥600 (x2?) Juicy and thickly cut, very delicious! Comes with soy sauce and sauce, but the flavor is already well-balanced. ● Crab cream croquette - ¥600 (x2) Garlic-infused crab cream croquettes. ● Mixed noodles - ¥1200 Thick Chinese noodles topped with minced meat, green onions, and a raw egg yolk for a hearty meal. ● Pudding - ¥500 Firm but creamy and smooth, very tasty! ● Yogurt sherbet - ¥500 Rich yogurt flavor, also very delicious! The seasoning leans towards a strong taste that pairs well with wine. The dishes were to my liking taste-wise, but slightly on the strong side for me. The service was very friendly and welcoming.

This was a famous restaurant in Ebisu, known for its legendary establishments like "Over Canal," "Moresque," "Augemand Tokyo," "Sakaba Garance," and "Fukushima." It was run by Naoki Fukushima, who is renowned for creating legendary dining experiences. A few years ago, it closed down, leaving many disappointed, but it has now reopened here. It still retains the atmosphere of a gathering place for regular customers. The restaurant has a counter seating area in a horseshoe shape and a private room for four at the back. On this day, we sat at the counter. The menu is based on French cuisine but also offers a variety of dishes that pair well with alcohol. The flavors are slightly intense to complement the drinks. From light snacks to full meals, this place caters to various preferences and has already become popular. On this day, we shared the following dishes for two people: 1. Duck and Burdock Rillettes for 1200 yen served on thin baguettes with a distinct burdock flavor. 2. Shitake Tart Flambe for 1200 yen 3. Horse Mackerel Fry for 600 yen x 2, which was not up to par for horse mackerel lovers. It was served with regular Kikkoman soy sauce and medium-thick sauce. It was delicious even without dipping. 4. Crab Cream Croquettes for 600 yen x 2 with a rich filling that pairs well with alcohol. 5. Mixed Noodles for 1200 yen with plenty of chives and minced meat, mixed well with raw egg and noodles. It was delicious, but the flavor was particularly intense. 6. Pudding for 500 yen 7. Yogurt Sorbet for 500 yen. We enjoyed these dishes with a glass of red wine, Equinoxe 2021 Clos Ermitage for 1500 yen. The service staff had a great sense of humor and provided excellent hospitality.

I visited for the first time. There were about 10 seats at the counter in a U-shape, and it seemed like there were private rooms as well. The menu was handwritten on a board and it seems to change monthly. The food was generally delicious, and the drinks were also good, but unfortunately the customer service didn't suit me. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Fukushima Naoki, who has been involved in creating cool restaurants that truly represent Tokyo such as "Oh Bacanal," "Moresque," "Oh Gaman de Tokyo," "Sakaba Garansu," "Yakiniku Kenya," and "Fukushima," opened a new restaurant along Meiji Street in Ebisu in March 2023. The restaurant features a counter and private rooms, offering a variety of international dishes including tripe, crab cream croquettes, and Tom Yum Kung ramen. I visited with a friend and tried the Prosciutto Gruyere Cheese Salad, Nagaimo Carpaccio, Crab Cream Croquettes, Shrimp Spring Rolls, and Tamagoyaki Cutlet Sandwich. The crab cream croquettes, shrimp spring rolls, and cutlet sandwich were delicious! I would love to try the hamburger and potato salad next time. Total cost: 6,000 yen. Rating: 4 stars. 5 stars: Definitely want to visit again! 4 stars: Would revisit if the opportunity arises. 3 stars: Would consider revisiting. 2 stars: Once is enough. 1 star: No need to visit.
