I dropped by this restaurant during the daytime on a public holiday and it was a quick visit. It's a clean and nicely decorated shop with a main counter. It's a convenient place to stop by in the bustling underground of the city. They offer a great value lunch course. The cost performance and taste are both solid, and I am very satisfied. The chef was also very friendly.

We visited the restaurant with 4 people on a weekday at 2:00 PM. We didn't make a reservation but were seated in about 5 minutes. We ordered a sushi assortment and chirashi sushi for ¥1,300, which was very reasonably priced. Due to braces, we chose the chirashi sushi, which was delicious and had a generous portion.

Sushi chain located in the basement of a movie theater. Despite the long line at "Nakamoto" on the same floor, this place was calm and I could enjoy my meal. I ordered the special nigiri lunch set (1350 yen). Even during lunchtime, the sushi chefs took their time to prepare each piece, which was nice. They also offered a choice of hot or cold tea, and the service was very polite, making me feel like I was in a good restaurant. The sushi itself was delicious, and it was of a quality that I wouldn't expect for 1350 yen. It was so tasty, almost melting in my mouth. The pickled ginger and miso soup were also delicious. I was worried if it was okay to get such quality for a reasonable price for lunch. I would like to go back again.

I don't often watch movies in theaters, so it was my first time entering this building. There is a sushi restaurant in the basement. I tried the lunch set with the most expensive one, which includes bluefin tuna (about 1500 yen). The chef said that the cheaper lunch set costs 900 yen and is popular. I do think it's relatively affordable for this place. However, I heard that they will be raising prices soon. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with a beautiful wood interior, and it was not crowded during lunchtime on weekdays. I also noticed a few foreign tourists. The tuna and horse mackerel were particularly delicious. I was sad when the NEMURO Hanamaru in Harajuku closed down, thinking that the quality of the ingredients had declined, so I hope this restaurant will do well.

When I'm in the mood for sushi for lunch in Shibuya, I usually come here - I've been here more than 10 times already. The veteran sushi chef's sushi is precise and delicious. I came here with my parents for a meal after a long time. My parents have small appetites, so they like that they can adjust their order with a la carte options like sashimi and sushi. The staff here always remembers us, which makes us feel at ease. We had a new onion salad as a starter, a sashimi platter, scallop cream croquettes, and a variety of sushi. We were able to order one piece at a time, so we tried a little bit of everything we wanted. The sake was also delicious, as always, making for a satisfying meal. We will definitely visit again.

Shibuya Station directly connected, located on B2F of Shibuto Cinetower, "Tsukiji Sushisei." I bought Ehomaki and felt like eating sushi, so I came here. Next door, "Nakahon," was crowded and busy, but this place had a more sophisticated atmosphere. [Ordered items] Special lunch sushi set 1350 yen (12 pieces). In the calm interior, I elegantly enjoyed sushi at the counter. It was great value for money! Each piece was served one by one, and I felt like I was living the high life (laughs). It was a normal lunch price, so I was happy. The people on either side seemed like regulars. Perhaps because the sushi was served immediately, the nori had a nice crisp flavor and was delicious. The fresh whitebait was also tasty. It was more relaxed and the atmosphere was calmer compared to a certain popular place where I bought Ehomaki. It seemed like a hidden gem, not yet discovered by tourists. They apologized for the busyness due to Ehomaki Day, but it was a very elegant experience. I wanted to leave within 30 minutes, and they managed that without any delays in serving the sushi. I liked it so I will definitely come back!

I finished work early and stopped by for some snacks. First, I had white shrimp, minced raw fish, and white fish marinated in kelp. Then, I chose a set of three shiny fish and shellfish. The ark shell was delicious. The sardines wrapped in seaweed with cucumber, sesame, shiso leaf, and flying fish roe were impressive. It was incredibly delicious.

I went to the sushi restaurant that my friend wanted to visit. We ordered a plate of assorted sashimi as an appetizer, followed by sushi of our choice. We went for dinner on a Sunday and were able to get a table without any hassle. The restaurant is located near Shibuya station, on the second basement floor, making it a hidden gem. The Chinese restaurant next door had a long line of people waiting to get in.

Due to the coronavirus, I had not been to this restaurant in a while. It seemed like the foot traffic was starting to pick up again, with over half of the counter seats filled. I ordered a cold sake and various sushi items like ark shell, horse mackerel, sardine, flounder, and tamago. For a side dish, I had steamed autumn eggplant. The nigiri sushi included scallop, lean tuna, greenling, salmon roe, red shrimp, and conger eel. The scallop paired perfectly with the nori seaweed flavor and was delicious. I hope I can continue to visit this place casually in the future.

Sushi restaurant located below TOHO Cinemas in Shibuya. Despite never having been there before, I ordered the Special Lunch Nigiri for 1350 yen. The head chef has a nice way of talking. The restaurant, located within a building facility, has a calm and nice atmosphere. Tuna's red meat had a rich texture and flavor. The sardine was lightly vinegared and melted in the mouth. The Negitoro Gunkan had delicious fatty tuna. Recommended for a quick sushi meal in Shibuya. Thank you for the meal.

I have been to Sushisei's main store, Shinkan, and Ueno store several times, but this was my first time at the Shibuya store. I was a little worried since it's located in a busy area in the basement of a building, but as expected from Sushisei, I was able to enjoy delicious food in a calm atmosphere. The staff at all locations are always friendly and kind, engaging in bright conversations and showing care with things like tea and soy sauce dishes. I felt at ease dining there. Of course, the food was perfect as well. Whether I ordered sashimi or nigiri, they always served high-quality dishes. I especially like the texture of the sushi rice. With the variety of delicious food and drinks at such a reasonable price, it feels like a great deal.

Sushi Sei's Shibuya branch is located in the basement of TOHO Cinemas. I remembered this while visiting another branch recently and decided to have lunch there. I arrived around 1:30 pm on a weekday. When I entered the restaurant, I was asked to wait outside, even though there seemed to be plenty of space inside. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I was seated at the counter and ordered the lunch chirashi. The chirashi was served promptly, but the chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) shown in the photo took a while to arrive. It was finally brought to me after I finished the chirashi, but I wish they had explained the delay. The quality of the lunch chirashi was good, as expected from Sushi Sei. The chawanmushi, miso soup, and warabi mochi dessert were all decently tasty. I overheard the sushi chef mentioning that it was a busy day, as they have fewer chefs working during lunchtime compared to dinner service. It's a large restaurant, so it's understandable.

It seems like this is a favorite spot for my companion, so we went here first! We tried the chef's recommended course and it was all delicious - the sashimi, sushi, and appetizers. They served everything slowly, so we were very satisfied. The only downside is that the service can be a bit inconsistent. There were some mistakes like serving wasabi when we asked for none, which was a bit inconvenient.

Connected directly to Shibuya Station A1 exit, next to here is Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto. The counter seats allow you to see the chef's knife skills up close. We started with draft beer, seaweed with children, medium fatty tuna and shellfish sashimi, followed by cold sake from Ichi no Kura, and then Hakkaisan. I almost forgot to take photos in the first half... only managed to snap some of the sushi in the second half. The ark shell and conger eel were delicious, but surprisingly the rolls (ankyu, torotaku) were the best! Since customers are constantly coming in, I recommend making a reservation before visiting. I'm curious about the plum salad and salmon belly roll that regular customers ordered, so I definitely want to try them next time. The taste and service were great, the place was clean, and they had solid COVID-19 measures in place. Overall, I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

In Shibuya, I didn't feel the presence of traditional Edo-style sushi, but there are decent places where you can feel somewhat at ease. The omakase set for 3100 yen is simple with no standout items. The squid and conger eel are average, and the young staff may be a bit concerning. The sea urchin and tuna are tasty as usual. The rice is lightly seasoned, and the salmon roe is small but good. The crab is mild and not particularly memorable. The side dishes lack appeal, and the additional sweet shrimp ordered was safe but unremarkable. Overall, there is nothing outstanding, but nothing bad either. The prices are reasonable and the location near the station is convenient.

When I felt like eating sushi in Shibuya, I remembered a recommended restaurant. It was almost full during the weekday dinner time, but I managed to secure the last seat. The menu ranged from assorted sushi platters to ordering individual pieces, which was convenient. I tend to be picky about sushi, so I was hesitating, but even though it wasn't on the menu, they kindly made a Negitoro roll for me. How nice! The side dishes were also delicious, and the staff's service was great. I definitely want to go back!
