First visit. The location is a bit hard to find but worth searching for. Not located between Akitsu and Shin-Akitsu, so please be careful. I visited during hot weather and had oden. It had a Kyoto-style, transparent and elegant flavor. Very gentle taste.

A hidden gem of an izakaya serving obanzai and oden. It's a unique restaurant that you don't come across often. I visited this place for the first time. It's located a 5-minute walk from Shin-Akitsu Station towards Akitsu Station, turning left at the corner of Lautonnu and walking straight ahead until you see the quiet shop on your left. The exterior gives off a mysterious and elegant Japanese izakaya vibe. Inside, there are about 8 counter seats and 2 tables for 4 people each. I arrived around 6 pm on a weekday. The hostess promptly seated us at the counter as soon as we entered. We ordered a draft beer and decided on our food. The recommended dishes are written on a blackboard. On this day, sashimi was listed, but the blackboard menu changes daily, so sashimi may not be available every day. We ordered sashimi of tuna and sea bream. The sea bream had a sweet taste with each bite, while the tuna's red flesh was full of umami without being watery. It was unexpectedly delicious! The clear oden broth was free of any artificial flavorings, and the bonito flavor was excellent! All the oden items were delicious due to the flavorful broth. The raw seaweed was served separately with the oden broth, and it had a pleasant taste of the sea. The karasumi had a sticky texture with a mild saltiness that paired well with alcohol. The shochu mixed with oden broth was a new experience and surprisingly delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was just right, with a cozy and clean interior, and the kimono-clad hostess was friendly and engaging. It's a welcoming place for solo female diners. Every dish was delicious, and we enjoyed our beer, sweet potato shochu, and oden broth shochu. I would definitely like to visit this place again.
