I found a Starno Coffee shop in the Gotanda area. The atmosphere inside the store is nice, and Starno is good, right? It's morning time. I like Starno's mini pancake morning set. The pancakes are well cooked, crispy in some parts. They are delicious. However, these ones might have been slightly overcooked. The iced coffee had a bit of a rough taste. Starno's coffee may not be of high quality, but it goes well with the pancakes.

In the midst of scorching heat, I stumbled upon Hoshino Coffee in Gotanda. The day was unbelievably hot, so I decided to take a break at the shop. Luckily, I found the second-floor location of the shop, which was cool and comfortable. It was a relief to be able to relax in the chilly interior. It can be awkward to spend a long time in a small café, but here, the spacious interior allowed everyone to unwind at their own pace. Despite the intense heat outside, the café felt like an oasis with its refreshing air conditioning. The ample seating made the experience even better. I ordered a light snack and an iced coffee, both of which were delicious.

The spaghetti at Hoshino Coffee is really delicious! Hoshino Coffee is a national chain known for serving great coffee, but personally, I love their spaghetti (rich soy sauce butter flavor) so much that I come here just for that, not for the coffee. There's no way you can go wrong with soy sauce butter flavored spaghetti! Plus, it's filled with plenty of ingredients that go well with the soy sauce butter. The highlight is the onsen egg on top of the spaghetti, which adds a really nice touch and creates a perfect balance. The overall taste is on par with specialty spaghetti shops. That's the Hoshino Coffee's spaghetti for you!

While strolling around Gotanda Station, I discovered a place a little away from the station. I didn't know it was in Gotanda. They sell Showa-style pudding for 500 yen, topped with whipped cream and caramel on the side. It was really delicious. They also offer a set of hot dog and fries for 500 yen, which seems quite filling. I'll try it next time when I'm hungry.

At noon, I was wandering around when I remembered about wanting to go to Hoshino Coffee. The Gotanda branch is quite spacious, making it a relaxing place even during lunchtime. Although there were empty seats, it felt like the staff were a bit slow during peak hours. I had planned to order the baked souffle Doria that I saw on TV, but then I noticed they had a spring limited edition version, so I decided to go for that. I ordered the Shrimp and Spring Vegetable Tomato Cream Souffle Doria for ¥1000, along with a lunchtime service drink for ¥330. I chose iced coffee for my drink. It was quite warm today, and just walking around made me start to sweat. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and it seemed like they might start falling soon. I had to wait a bit for the souffle Doria, so I leisurely sipped my iced coffee while waiting. The coffee was delicious, with a refreshing taste and a good bitterness that went well with the iced version. I started to wonder about trying different blends as well. After about 20 minutes, the souffle Doria arrived. It was fluffy and jiggly. It held its shape when I scooped it with a spoon, but melted in my mouth. Underneath the souffle was a tomato cream Doria with plenty of shrimp, which was tasty on its own. It lived up to my expectations in terms of flavor. The portion wasn't very large, so it felt more like a place to relax rather than a place for a full meal. Before I knew it, an hour had passed in this leisurely cafe setting. They offer a half-price refill on coffee, so maybe they encourage long stays.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday at 4:30 pm, and had to wait for about 5 minutes because many families and older sisters were leaving after lunch. I couldn't decide between pancakes and French toast, but I chose pancakes because I didn't want something heavy that would make me feel bloated. I ordered the Baked Souffle Pancakes (single) for 580 yen and a set drink, Iced Tea, for 450 yen. Looking back, the drink alone cost 450 yen, which seemed a bit expensive. The Iced Tea was a bit strong and not worth the price. The pancakes were smaller than I expected and I finished them in seconds. Lately, I have been eating a lot of heavy meals, so these pancakes were light and easy to eat. I'm not sure if 580 yen is cheap or expensive, but I probably won't go back again, haha.

Walk from Gotanda Sony Street towards Gotenyama, and on the 2nd floor of the building next to the famous ramen restaurant "Guangzhou Market" is "Hoshino Coffee Shop". It can get crowded during lunchtime, but the interior is quite spacious so you won't have to wait long to be seated. It's a cozy place. Today, I went a little after 12 pm and was able to be seated right away.
★Lunch Menu
For an additional 330 yen, you get a drink with your main dish. Among the extensive menu, I always choose the Hoshino Spaghetti (lots of ingredients soy sauce butter) for 930 yen. I ordered Hoshino Blend coffee. This pasta is highly recommended. It includes ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, and plenty of vegetables, topped with a soft-boiled egg. The soy sauce butter and sesame aroma bring out the umami of the ingredients, creating a delicious taste. Hoshino Coffee Shop serves hand-drip coffee brewed carefully one cup at a time. You can enjoy three types of coffee blends:
- Hoshino Blend: a well-balanced main blend.
- Hikoboshi Blend: a rich blend for those who enjoy a moderate bitterness.
- Orihime Blend: a light and refreshing blend with a smooth mouthfeel.
The variety of coffee menu options allows you to enjoy coffee based on your mood that day, which is great for coffee lovers. Sometimes I stop by after work to have a delicious coffee. The fluffy soufflés and pancakes are also delicious and popular. The stylish interior, table layout, and warm atmosphere make it a wonderful cafe restaurant. The staff are always friendly, and it seems like there are many regular customers. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to try Hoshino Coffee's "Vanilla Souffle" once, so I visited with a friend who lives in Osaki. It was a Sunday afternoon around 2 o'clock, and the place was almost full, but there was a private room available, so they seated the two of us together. Thank you very much. I had already decided on the "Baked Vanilla Souffle" from the start, but the seasonal pancakes and French toast also looked delicious, so I was a bit torn. However, I stuck to my initial choice! You can also choose from various types of coffee, which was nice, and I chose the "Orihime Blend" which has a mild acidity. (My friend chose the strawberry pancakes). The coffee was mild and delicious, and the vanilla souffle was fluffy and light! It was even more delicious with the chocolate sauce on top! It's a nice place where you can relax and enjoy delicious coffee and sweets. Thank you for the meal.

I had a souffle at this restaurant. As you can see in the photo, the visual impact was amazing! I was overwhelmed by the appearance, but I managed to finish it with ease. Not only the taste, but also the calming atmosphere of the private room made the experience very satisfying.

Slow down and relax with a cup of coffee at Hoshino Coffee. The seats are spacious and create a relaxing atmosphere. You can also enjoy your second cup of coffee at half price, which helped refresh my mind. Thank you very much.

After visiting Otoyoki, we went to Hoshino Coffee Shop in Gotanda for a tea break. They are currently having a Strawberry Fair, so I ordered the "Strawberry-filled Souffle Pancake" with an iced coffee, while my colleague got the set with a strawberry shortcake and Hoshino Coffee. We chatted a lot and took advantage of the half-price coffee refill offer, with me getting Hoshino Coffee and my colleague opting for Hikoboshi Coffee and decaf iced coffee. The drinks were from the starred selection, so getting a different coffee for half price refill was a nice deal. My colleague's cream soda looked delicious too. Although the time limit for dining is stated as 2 hours, we stayed for more than 2 hours after ordering the dessert set and enjoying two rounds of coffee refills. The Souffle Pancake takes 20 minutes to prepare, but it was fluffy and filled with plenty of strawberries, and the cream was delicious. The spacious interior allowed us to relax and have a pleasant time. Hoshino Coffee has various locations in Tokyo, but I always feel like I can relax here whenever I visit. The interior is quite spacious, with seats placed at a good distance from each other, allowing for a peaceful atmosphere to chat without worrying about others. They also have private rooms for those who want to focus and spend time alone. The private rooms are dimly lit, so they may not be suitable for studying or reading. I recommend trying the Fruit Tea Set for 680 yen, which comes in a pot and allows you to have multiple cups. On this day, I had the Souffle Doria, Strawberry Cheesecake, Mont Blanc, and Apple Souffle Pancake.

Memo: Recently, I feel like I have been drinking coffee less frequently. I was swayed by the naming of Hoshino Coffee's "Yearning" blend. (laughs) I had the Yearning Blue Mountain Blend with a set meal of shrimp and mozzarella cheese gratin for 1,430 yen. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again.

Coffee shops with a calm atmosphere are the best. Among them, a famous coffee shop originating from Nagoya and Hoshino Coffee are quite nice. The interior is a bit dim, with wooden floors, tables, chairs, shelves, etc., all made of wood, and the coffee ☕️ you drink there is delicious.

I used it for lunch on June 21, 2021. Hoshino Coffee... It's my second time using it in my life. Usually, I'm a Starbucks fan for tea breaks (because I have Starbucks money). I entered the store before 4 pm. Since it's a weekday at this time, there were few customers and a calm atmosphere. I was surprised that drinks were priced from 550 yen to 700 yen, but I found French toast at the same price... I ordered the French toast (700 yen). It came in about 5 minutes. It was a decent volume for 700 yen. You can put as much honey as you like, haha. I hope this is helpful.

I often go to the Seijo Kaffee coffee shop in Gotanda, which is spacious. The coffee is slightly different from my taste, so I end up ordering tea more often. The tea is delicious though. The main reason I go to Seijo Kaffee is for their delicious French toast. It's just right in terms of size and taste, exactly to my liking. Being a chain restaurant, it's convenient to satisfy my cravings whenever I want. That's what I like about it. I will definitely visit again.

The place is always stable and delicious. I have tried both the Orihime Blend and the Hikoboshi Blend, but I prefer the Orihime Blend because you get a 50% discount on refills and the atmosphere is great with comfy sofas that make you feel sleepy and happy (laughs). I want to stay there forever. This time, I ordered the Sweet Potato Brulee with Purple Sweet Potato Ice Cream for 420 yen excluding tax, and added a drink set for an extra 400 yen excluding tax. My companion had the Hikoboshi Blend. The Sweet Potato Brulee was seriously delicious! For those who love sweet potatoes, I highly recommend it.

Before the meeting, I had some time so I took a breather at this cafe in Gotanda. It was actually my first time at St. Marc Café. I entered the store nervously. It was around 3 pm and there were many people using the cafe inside! I ordered the St. Marc Blend coffee and French toast. It was nice that they asked about the timing for serving the coffee and French toast! I don't really mind, but it's important to have proper consideration because some people prefer coffee after their meal, right? The coffee was brought first! The cup was piping hot all the way to the rim. I'm not sensitive to heat, but I waited a bit for it to cool down. While I was waiting, the French toast arrived too! I poured plenty of maple syrup on it and enjoyed it! It was simply delicious! The cream on top was not too heavy, which was good! It was my first time visiting, but both the service and the food were great. I can understand why it's crowded even during this time. The prices are also reasonable! I will definitely visit again.

On Saturday, just after 10:30 AM, I was lucky to find out that they were already preparing the souffle pancakes, even though they officially start selling them at 11 AM. The pancakes had a crispy surface and a fluffy interior, topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chestnut cream.

On Friday, September 4th, at 12:10 PM, feeling a bit mischievous with the idea of "Do you want it? Let's use public funds!", I visited the café "Hoshino Coffee". The interior of the café is quite spacious and has a stylish and calming atmosphere. I ordered the "Hoshino Spaghetti" for 830 yen (excluding tax), and it was served in about 10 minutes. The Hoshino Spaghetti is a soy sauce butter flavored spaghetti with plenty of ingredients. The noodles were cooked al dente, and it had eggplant, bacon, tomato, onion, and a soft-boiled egg as toppings. The combination of the refreshing soy sauce flavor and the richness of the butter was very nice. It was simply delicious! I wished there was a bit more though! Unfortunately, they don't offer a larger portion. My companion had the curry, and the price difference between the curry and the curry with pork cutlet was only 80 yen (lol). Enjoying lunch in such a calm atmosphere was great! Thank you for the meal!
