I ordered the special Massaman curry in large portion with 2 sausages and half a naan. Personally, I didn't really like the balance between the sweetness of the coconut and spiciness. And to top it off, they forgot to put chicken in it! They brought it separately in another dish. I still think that the regular menu items at Coco Ichi are better. I used to like the summer limited edition chicken and summer vegetable curry. But my favorite customization is the pork shabu curry with vegetables, fried chicken, and corn!

I visited Coco Ichibanya after a long time because I was craving their curry. I ordered the spinach curry to watch my calories. It was around 2 PM so I was able to find a seat relatively quickly. I got my usual spice level of 2. The portion size was normal. The taste was consistent as always. This is the essence of Japanese curry rice.

At Tokyo Big Sight, it was so crowded that I couldn't have lunch, so I jumped into Gotanda CoCo Ichi after 3 o'clock. It's been a while since I had CoCo Ichi! I sat at the counter and checked the menu. Feeling like eating squid, I ordered the squid curry in regular size with level 3 spiciness. I could hear the delicious sound of frying squid from across the counter, and the curry arrived in about 4 or 5 minutes! As expected, there's no disappointment with CoCo Ichi! The freshly fried squid had a fragrant aroma and a soft texture when bitten into. The level 3 spicy curry also had a great flavor that perfectly matched the rice! Maybe because I was so hungry, it was a delicious curry after a long time.

Work has been tiring lately and my mind is feeling exhausted. When I feel like this, I always turn to spicy food! And what's quicker and more satisfying than curry?! So, I decided to have lunch at the nearby CoCo Ichibanya. I wanted to make sure I got my veggies along with the spices, so I ordered the fried chicken Caesar salad and the vegetable-packed curry. It may be funny to end up at CoCo Ichibanya, but their food is consistently delicious. I sprinkled some extra spices from the table to spice it up even more. Thank you for the meal.

When I went to [Curry Udon Restaurant], they said it would take a long time, so I decided to try the curry rice place along Yamate Street. I ordered the Roast Chicken Soup Curry for 966 yen (tax included). The appearance was decent, but the roast chicken, which is supposed to be the main part of the dish, was nowhere to be found. It seemed poorly presented. Perhaps it's because it's a central kitchen style, but it gives a bad impression of the dish lacking the basics. As for the taste, the curry itself felt lacking in spices. There was plenty of vegetables, which was good. The roast chicken, however, was three thin slices of breast meat that seemed like it was roasted yesterday and had soggy skin. It wasn't delicious. I was interested because of the good advertising, but this soup curry was disappointing. It's like a bad example of soup curry. If you like soup curry, I recommend not trying this one. Once you try it, it's enough. It's not something you would want to eat again. When you go to CoCo Ichibanya, I recommend their regular curry instead. However, CoCo Ichibanya is very popular. The place is always packed with customers during lunchtime. Despite not being cheap, it's popular for some reason. I can't understand why it's so popular. Frustrating.

☆Osaki-Hirokoji Station, Gotanda Station☆ I went to CoCo Ichibanya for curry after a long time. I had the recommended beef menchi katsu curry. The curry sauce here is something I occasionally crave, and it was delicious today as well. The katsu was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Actually, I am a fan of CoCo Ichibanya. I already like curry, but CoCo Ichibanya has great spiciness and toppings, so I can customize it based on my mood that day. My top recommendation is with less rice, level 3 spiciness, pork jab with spinach, and cheese topping. Thank you always. It was delicious.

The base of the spinach curry at Coco Ichi was originally a pork curry base. The small pieces of meat in the spinach curry were quite subtle and seemed to be pork, more like ham. It was like a ham curry, which paired well with the spinach. The main ingredient, spinach, was quite plentiful. I also added the recommended cheese topping. It felt quite filling, with a portion of 300g of rice by default. Perhaps asking for 200g of rice would have been better. I ordered the curry with a spice level of 1 out of 3, but I felt like 2 would have been better. There was a spice to increase the heat on the table, but I decided not to use it. It had been a while since I last visited Coco Ichi. The price of 988 yen for a curry, including tax, felt a bit expensive. Maybe Coco Ichi's curry is more for hardcore fans rather than the general public. Overall, it was good to visit Coco Ichi again after a long time. I look forward to the next visit, maybe trying their fried items next time.

I went to the "CoCo Ichibanya Gotanda Yamate-dori Store" located next to Yude Tarou West Gotanda Main Store on a cold night. I was feeling cold, so I chose CoCo Ichibanya where you can choose the spiciness level. After looking at the menu, I decided to have the vegetable curry. The curry and ingredients were delicious. I added extra spicy spices to make it even hotter. It warmed me up from the inside. There are many different curry rice options, but I think CoCo Ichibanya offers delicious curry that you crave from time to time. Thank you for the meal.

I sat at the counter and checked the menu. I couldn't decide what to order, but this time I chose the "Vegetable Soup Curry". After placing my order, the long-awaited warm dish arrived. I dug in right away. The taste was simply delicious. I felt like sharing it with someone, but today I am dining alone. I hope to have the chance to share that soup with someone next time.
