【Revisit after 2 years and 2 months】Despite the pandemic, I have been here a few times, but it seems like it has been over 2 years since my last visit. I will start with my usual mega-sized beer and a dry one. When I come here, I always start with a platter of fresh oysters priced at 3,300 yen. Today, I had oysters from Hyogo and Hokkaido. It must be difficult for them to source these oysters. You can't choose the origin as freely as before. I also added a Royal Oyster priced at 880 yen and enjoyed a glass of wine, "La Croix Ward" priced at 720 yen. It's nice to have wine outside after a long time. I then proceeded with an Iberico bacon Caesar salad priced at 980 yen followed by Wagyu rib roast Rossini with Perigueux sauce priced at 3,280 yen. The price has almost doubled since I had the Wagyu rib roast Rossini with Perigueux sauce two years ago. I think every restaurant is struggling now, so this place must be too... But dining out is wonderful, isn't it? 【Overview】Located in the heart of Kabukicho, right under the Godzilla head, this restaurant offers a terrace where you can enjoy a drink in the evening breeze. Smoking is allowed indoors, while the terrace is non-smoking. Drinking on this terrace makes you feel like the protagonist of Kabukicho... or maybe not? (laughs) Perhaps due to the preconception of being a touristy establishment on the ground floor, everything that is served here is surprisingly delicious. It feels like you are enjoying a terrace drink protected by the Godzilla head.

The restaurant is located at 1-19-1 Kabukicho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. We visited with my mother on Saturday at 4:10 pm. The restaurant was quite busy. They were showing motocross on a screen in the center of the restaurant. We ordered a set of 6 assorted fresh oysters plus 1 extra for 3300 yen, along with the cheapest bottle of red wine. At 4:17 pm, we received the red wine and a bruschetta appetizer with balsamic and tuna topping, which was delicious. There is a table charge of 350 yen per person. At 4:23 pm, the fresh oysters arrived. They were a mix of oysters from Hirota Bay in Iwate, Akkeshi in Hokkaido, and Ofunato in Iwate, along with today's special discounted oysters, which were small in size and likely from Murotsu in Hyogo prefecture. We enjoyed them with a squeeze of lemon. Thank you for the meal.

After leaving the gourmet festival at Okubo Park, I was already full but wanted to have a little snack and drink. It had been a while since I last visited this place in Kabukicho, where there are many oyster bars, but this one is spacious and you can usually get in without a reservation, so I often come here alone. This time, it was a Saturday and there were a lot of tourists, making it feel like a theme park with so many people, but I managed to get in without any issues. The terrace and the spacious interior might be the reason for that. The fresh oysters of the day were only 350 yen each and they were incredibly delicious, so I had seconds. I also tried a platter with four different kinds of oysters. I forgot to take a picture, but the anchovy cabbage and fried potatoes were also delicious and filling. I felt like the menu had improved since the last time I visited. I would like to come back again. Thank you for the meal!

Last time, I think it was during the daytime in 2018. This time, I revisited because my accommodation in Tokyo was close by. I came alone and only planned to eat oysters. I had a special set of assorted fresh oysters with an increased quantity for a limited time. I enjoyed 7 oysters from 3 different types. The sparkling wine was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

✏️ Restaurant Review: This time, I used the repo for dinner ✨ First of all, the restaurant is stylish and has outdoor seating as well. For drinks, I had a cafe latte and cola ✨ They really hit the spot‼️ So delicious‼️ The cola was a craft type and tasted really good!! The appetizer was also delicious. The oyster carpaccio with fresh oysters was irresistible. The fish in the fish & chips was huge and satisfying to eat. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned. And of course, the burger was amazing✨ Juicy, hearty, and loaded with ingredients‼️ A highly recommended burger!! Please do stop by and give it a try. Thank you for the meal!!

Passing time before the movie. It's reassuring that TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku is on the first floor. You can relax until the last minute. There are no relaxing places inside the movie theater. It's recommended to come early, have a drink, and wait since the entrance is 15 minutes before the movie starts. There are seats inside and outside the store. Of course, outside. Open-air. Outdoor drinking is the best in this pleasant weather today. Oysters are popular here, but they only serve beer and coppa, a rich and fatty meat at the back of the neck that goes well with beer. It's more like salami than prosciutto. Day drinking...there are many places in Kabukicho where you can drink 24 hours a day, but there aren't many places where you can relax without the hustle and bustle.

I enjoyed an all-you-can-eat oyster feast. Everything was delicious, and the all-you-can-drink option for 3 hours was great value for money! I would love to go again. Before going, I was worried if I could relax based on the atmosphere in the photos, but when I actually went, I was able to comfortably relax in the sofa seats.

I stopped by the ramen festival to adjust my timing. I was planning to have just one beer, but the sausages looked delicious, so I ended up ordering a set. I chose the Aguu sausage, which goes well with craft beer. Even though I was tempted to stay for the ramen festival, I left without ordering anything else. Thank you for the meal.

I watched a movie at the Toho Building in Shinjuku and used the half-ticket service to visit this restaurant. I noticed that they also have a group service called Clione Service, but they informed me that it cannot be used together with the half-ticket service. So, I decided to use the half-ticket service. There was a cover charge, and they served garlic toast as a starter. The toast was crispy with a strong garlic flavor. I also ordered the rose sparkling wine through the half-ticket service, and it was delicious. It was quite dry with a refreshing taste, and the bubbles were strong, making it easy to drink. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

When I made the reservation, I had booked a terrace seat but because it was too hot outside, I requested to switch to indoor seating and they kindly accommodated my request, which made me happy. There were many different types of oysters available, and the staff explained them thoroughly, so I was able to eat ones that I liked. I would like to visit again in the future.

The menu of oysters is varied and makes you want to try everything. I especially love oyster pasta, so I had to order it. Delicious. Everything I tasted was delicious. The meat dishes are also quite tasty. Despite being right in the middle of Kabukicho, it wasn't as crowded as I expected, so it was easy to get in and convenient. I had the beef fillet, foie gras Rossini, and a feast of oysters. #beeffillet #foiegras #oysters #rawoysters #peperoncino #delicious #lunch #spurofthemomentrestaurantchoice #Shinjuku #Kabukicho #lunchtime #food #foodstagram #delicious #delistagrammer #tasty #shinjuku

I made a sudden reservation and went to the restaurant I used to frequent. I had the Rossini, which is foie gras on top of meat, during the day. It was very tender and delicious. They had transparent plates for COVID-19 measures to separate diners, but I think even clearer plates would be better.

This restaurant is located in the Toho Building, which houses a Gin-Da-Ko, and has terrace seating. I often see many foreigners drinking here, perhaps because they enjoy being outside more than Japanese people. I ordered a beer to pass the time. There were groups, couples, and maybe even a mixer around, all having a good time drinking. The prices are reasonable and I recommend this place. I believe reservations are also possible, so I recommend making one.

The raw oysters were not that great, and the grilled oysters were just okay, but everything else was delicious! Especially the assorted plate of prosciutto and salami♡ It was so tasty that I could keep eating it forever♡ There were 8 different types of meat, so I didn't get tired of it! There were 20 different types of cheese, but I couldn't try them all... haha. I tried a little bit of 10 different types of cheese on the assorted plate, but cheese is cheese, and you do get tired of it eventually haha. Well, my companion today hardly ate anything, so I basically ate alone, so it's no wonder I got tired of it (laughs). The location is good too, I want to come back again! Next time, I want to try the meat too! But why were there so few customers on a Sunday? I'm worried...

Shinjuku is known for Kabukicho, and that might be true. I attended a drinking party in a building under Godzilla. The plates with names of various types of food, such as prosciutto and sausages, were easy to understand and went well with alcohol. The strawberry tart with today's ice cream for dessert was Instagram-worthy, with cute presentation and delicious taste. I would like to use this place again if I have the chance.

I went for a daytime drink with a friend who can only go out during the day. We went to a place in the Toho Building, where Godzilla is, on the 1st floor, just past Shinjuku Yasukuni Street. This area has become really beautiful, and the restaurant here has a stylish atmosphere with terrace seating. There are many places that serve lunch, but not many where you can drink from the afternoon to the evening! We were excited and discussed how we wish there were more places like this on food review websites. Drinking during the day feels more relaxed than at night, and I feel like I don't gain as much weight. Plus, you don't need to drink as much to feel good! The restaurant we went to had quite a few people drinking from the afternoon. There were also many foreigners. We started with a toast with sparkling wine. Cheers to bubbles in the daytime! We had some snacks like salami and potato fries. I really wanted to try the oysters. Since I don't have many chances to eat fresh oysters, I was excited. We chose three types from the selection available. They varied in size and shape, and each had a different taste. It was fun to compare them. The smaller ones had a stronger flavor. The larger ones were satisfying to eat because of their size. The Senpou-ji oyster from Hokkaido was the most delicious. We also had a pizza that looked like a flower. It was filled with plenty of cheese. The shape was cute, and it had a good texture. We also had garlic shrimp and chicken. We tried to avoid carbs, so it should have been healthy! It was a valuable experience to be able to have a daytime drink at this restaurant.

I had originally planned to go to a certain restaurant, but it was under renovation, so I wandered around looking for another place to eat. Then I remembered this restaurant that I had been curious about for a while, so I decided to go in! It was lunchtime, so I ordered a hamburger and since I was in the mood to drink, I was recommended to try craft beer, so I did! The hamburger was thick and satisfying, perfect with the beer. The craft beer had a variety of options, so I had fun trying different kinds. It was delicious! ☺️

On New Year's Day in 2017, Kabukicho was filled with both closed and open shops. The yakiniku restaurants were packed with customers. Two locations of Jojoen in Kabukicho were also full. It's nice to enjoy good food early in the new year. So, my boss and I went to a bar-like place on the first floor of Toho Cinemas where we had oysters, ham, cheese, sausages, and drinks. We started with a toast of highball and enjoyed a cheese platter. Then we had wine. Some people say cheese and chocolate go well with wine, but I don't really think so. I just eat what I want. Anyway, places are open on New Year's Day. You can have oysters.

Located in a prime spot in front of a movie theater, this restaurant has outdoor seating with a few tables. It has a somewhat American vibe, attracting white tourists to sit there. It seems like a popular tourist spot for entertainment, similar to Times Square in New York. Therefore, a suitable restaurant for this location would be "Sbarro." Unfortunately, it went bankrupt at the end of last year, so there are no Japanese locations left. It's a bit disappointing. From the outside, it looks like a small shop, but inside, it's quite a nice restaurant. With high ceilings and an open kitchen, the whole restaurant can be seen. I got a table towards the back and waited for my food. However, this restaurant allows smoking in all areas, which is quite rare nowadays. While I can tolerate regular cigarette smoke, the smell of cigars from the next table is bothersome. So, I moved to a table near the entrance. In front of me was an oyster bar, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered oysters from Mie and Hiroshima, enjoying their plump and flavorful taste. The lunch set had about five options, each coming with a salad and a drink. Today's salad was cabbage slaw with pumpkin salad on top, served in a cocotte. It was a unique salad that made me smile. For the main dish, I had pork cutlet, which was thick and crispy, and a baked keema curry doria. The doria was hot and moderately tasty, but the plain white rice left me wanting more curry. In the end, this place is more suitable for drinking and snacking rather than filling up your stomach. I left the restaurant without feeling fully satisfied.

The grilled oysters with herb butter were delicious! The potatoes were also good. The wine was okay, I thought.
