All-you-can-eat buffet for 1,300 yen! Not bad at all~ Two types of curry, two types of soup (Rasam and Sambar), Naan and Parotta, Biryani and white rice, Wada, Raita, banana drink, fried snacks (like donuts) and few side dishes. While there are not many options to choose from, the Chicken Biryani, despite having very little chicken (almost none), is well spiced and incredibly delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. Among the buffet curries in Nishikasai, I think this one is the best. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I entered the restaurant around 6:00 PM. The combination of lightly seasoned Indica rice (I think) and curry is very good, as the aroma of the Indica rice blends well with the spicy curry, making it very appetizing. However, I found the dessert, which seemed to be a donut soaked in syrup, a bit off-putting.

It is now completely losing in terms of quality. It used to be in the top 100 restaurants, but experiencing the current situation, it's understandable how it has fallen from that position. I was expecting a curry with chunks of meat, but the curry with meat only had ground meat. Since it was a buffet, I was hoping for chicken karaage, but instead got onion and bean karaage, which was really disappointing. Instead of lowering the quality so much, wouldn't it be better to raise the prices and maintain the quality?

In the bustling area of Nishi-Kasai, my favorite restaurant is 'Amudas Labi'. There are so many curry restaurants to choose from, but this place stands out. While their set menus are tempting, their Biryani is also delicious! Compared to other places where Biryani portions are usually large, here it's just the right amount - leaving you wanting more at the end. Of course, their set menus are also tasty, but I can't help but crave their Biryani now. It was so delicious. Thank you for the meal.

When it comes to Nishi-Kasai, it's all about curry! I wanted to eat curry, so I chose this restaurant which had a very high reputation among several curry shops. I arrived around 1 pm on a weekday and was able to be seated without waiting. The place was almost full, but it didn't get crowded. I ordered the Biryani set for 1200 yen, as it was written as South Indian Curry. The spiciness was delicious, although I felt it only at first, I quickly got used to it and enjoyed it smoothly. The mutton in the Biryani was not tough at all, it had a nice tenderness to it, which I really liked. The Chicken Tikka was also good, the meat was delicious. The curry was light and had a hint of sweetness, making it easy to eat with a good balance. I see why this place is popular. I would like to try the Meals next time, as the portion was too much for me to finish. I ended the meal with a cup of chai and left completely satisfied. It's rare that the sweetness doesn't come at the end, but it actually made it more enjoyable. I would like to visit this restaurant again when I come to Nishi-Kasai next time. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I visited this holiday buffet. It's not just a favorite, but it's my go-to place, so I have to take a break once in a while. The food is really delicious, but I always feel like the rasam is a bit too salty. Is it just me or is the rasam always slightly too salty? Thinking about it, it makes me appreciate the other dishes a little more too. Maybe it's just my imagination. But I really recommend it.

Lunch on weekends and holidays seems to be buffet only, so be careful. The food was delicious, but I was confused because there was no explanation and only buffet. The naan bread is already baked, so depending on the timing, you may not be able to eat it fresh. However, for those who can eat a lot, it's a good deal as there were about 10 different dishes available.

I visited during my work break around 11:30 am on a regular day. I ordered the mutton biryani and it was delicious. The mutton was tender and the rice was cooked perfectly. The curry that came with the set was also tasty. The chicken tikka was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There was plenty of raita which was satisfying. I ordered an iced chai for my drink, but it tasted a bit sour.

The huge Masala Dosa made a big impression. The Cheese Dosa offered a rich flavor with a crispy and soft texture contrast. Inside, there were potatoes with various spices, giving off an aromatic and slightly spicy accent. The set came with Sambar, sweet spice chutney, coconut chutney, and a choice of drink. Another popular menu item, the Biryani Thali lunch set, featured a spicy mutton biryani. The Raita was a creamy yogurt and cheese-flavored salad that was refreshing. This restaurant in an area with a large Indian population truly lived up to its reputation. It offered a unique experience of South Indian cuisine, with a mild richness and delicate use of spices that set it apart from the usual oily Indian dishes.

This is a South Indian restaurant located near Nishi-Oi. They offer a weekend buffet for 1300 yen which includes 4 types of curry, soup, several side dishes, naan, and rice. The flavors are mild but fragrant with spices. It's a bit disappointing that there is not much meat in the curry, as South Indian cuisine is not very meat-heavy.

South Indian restaurant. You can enjoy unique flavors with dishes like Biryani and curry that you may have never seen before. It's the taste of the authentic cuisine! It was really delicious! The staff is friendly and they keep coming to refill your water, which was much appreciated. They offer a lunch buffet where you can eat a lot for 1300 yen.

◆Amdavadi Sabji Nishikasai BranchLocated in Nishikasai, also known as Little India, this South Indian restaurant is my first post, but I have already visited twice before. This time is my third visit. I arrived at 11:40 am on a weekday. There were 2 customers already seated and no customers behind me. There were 3 staff members in the kitchen serving.◆Biryani Thali Lunch SetMutton Biryani & Raita/Chicken Salna/Chicken 65/Hot ChaiSet Price: 1,250 yen including taxThis biryani is different from the usual North Indian-style biryani from Gonotok GBH. The basmati rice is cooked evenly and beautifully, with whole spices like green chili, cardamom, and cloves scattered throughout. The mutton was a bit tough, with about 5-6 pieces. The raita, with its yogurt-based sourness, adds a nice touch. The Chicken Salna has a southern Indian flavor with a creamy curry soup-like consistency, with chicken pieces mixed in. The Chicken 65 is a spicy southern Indian-style fried chicken, crispy on the outside with a hint of spiciness. The hot chai served after the meal was full of flavor but a bit mild. It would be better if it was richer.Overall, it was a great experience to enjoy South Indian cuisine. It seems like their weekend lunch buffet is back, so I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the meal. 。゚(゚´ω`゚)゚。

I had South Indian cuisine at Amdavadi in Nishi-Oi over the weekend! The quality of the buffet dishes was so high that it didn't feel like all-you-can-eat. The punchy flavor of the rasam was especially amazing. I tried a bit of everything, and went back for seconds of the payasam dessert. Truly a taste of Nishi-Oi! I'm curious about trying their dinner menu too.

Both the staff and customers all appear to be Indian, but I wonder if this is authentic Indian cuisine! It's saltier than Japanese curry, but the fish has a nice texture. The rice is very thin and has a unique texture that I've never experienced before. Thank you for the meal.

Around 11:30, I went to Nishikasai today. It was hot, so I ordered the Curry Veggie South Indian set for 1250 yen. It was served in about 5 minutes. The curry had two types, mutton and chicken, and it was quite delicious. There were also 3 pieces of tandoori chicken included, so I left feeling full. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the highly rated Indian restaurant Amdavadi in Nishikasai in search of Mutton Biryani on a weekday afternoon. On weekends, they offer an all-you-can-eat option with a variety of South Indian dishes. The Biryani here comes with mini chicken tikka and curry, making it a very cost-effective option. The Biryani itself is quite generous in portion size, with fluffy basmati rice and satisfying mutton pieces. It was a delicious Biryani - thank you for the meal.

When I went to Nishikasai with my friends, we were undecided on which restaurant to go to, but ultimately chose this one. The fact that they offered a buffet with biryani on Saturday afternoons was a big draw, but I also saw other dishes on Twitter that looked really delicious. It was fun to try out a variety of dishes. I feel like Asian cuisine restaurants often have a lot of mystery surrounding whether they are open or what their current menu is like, so it's really helpful when places like this one consistently share updates.

Non-vegetarian tally. This place feels like my "home" as it has been around before all the hype about north, south, or west. It may not be glamorous, but everything is delicious and relaxing. The salty rasam makes me feel like I've returned home. A wonderful restaurant that I keep coming back to. Highly recommended.

I made it just in time for the last order at lunch and had a set of two curries. I had to finish the curry in 30 minutes! When I went before, there were quite a few Indian people lining up, but today, maybe because it was just before the last order, there were fewer people. I like the type of naan that is chewy on the outside and it was deliciously filling. When I'm really hungry, I might be able to eat two pieces. The chicken curry had a good amount of spices and I liked it! Next time, I want to try the butter chicken curry and biryani.

I really enjoyed the thin and crispy Masala Dosa with Coconut Chutney! On another day, I tried the Veg Meals. I usually order non-veg meals because I love mutton and chicken, but this time I tried the veg option. It was flavorful, hearty, and satisfying despite being vegetarian.
