I visited a restaurant that offers a daily lunch buffet menu along with its affiliated stores. To reduce the risk of infection when using shared tongs, disposable thin poly gloves are provided. I made a reservation on the day of my visit, which was possible even in the morning, and stopped by for Sunday lunch after watching a South Indian Tamil movie in Shinjuku. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the Atago Green Hills MORI Tower, a tall building to the left after passing the building where the Kojimachi Station is located. The staff consisted of one Indian male waiter and two male cooks in the kitchen. The place was quite busy with groups of Indian families, Japanese groups, and solo diners. The lunch buffet menu for the day included Panipuri, Mutton Biryani, Raita, Naan, Butter Chicken, Aloo Gobi, Pesarapappu, Onion Uttapam, Sambar, Vada, Coconut Chutney, and Gujiya. I particularly enjoyed the crispy Panipuri, light Pesarapappu and Aloo Gobi, Onion Uttapam, Vada, Sambar, and Coconut Chutney. The Gujiya, which is usually sold for around 200 yen each at Pakistani and Indian food stores in Shin-Okubo and Yotsuya, was available for all-you-can-eat, so I ended up having two. Since it's located in an office building, it seems like it would be very crowded during weekdays, so I recommend visiting on weekends and holidays for a more relaxed dining experience.
