It was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Carbonara available only at this store and the one with mochi and shrimp toppings on regular noodles. The noodles were crispy in some parts and chewy in others, both delicious! The fact that they cut the noodles made it easy to eat. The Carbonara was seriously tasty and you should definitely try it.

Soramachi store of a famous Hiroshima restaurant where you can enjoy various teppanyaki dishes. The Nikutama Basic is a must-try, and you can also add toppings if you like. The Kounesukiyaki is seasoned perfectly, especially when mixed with the egg. The Oyster Butter Soy Sauce Grilled dish speaks for itself with its deliciousness. Order a beer and cheers to a great meal. Thank you for the feast.

Today, two of us who get along well and have not climbed the Skytree before went up the Skytree and then went to this restaurant. We waited for 15 minutes with 30 people ahead of us. The order was taken from the other two groups just before us, and our dishes arrived 2 minutes after entering the restaurant. We had seats by the counter where we could watch the okonomiyaki being made. We both ordered soba with meat and egg, and we ended up really enjoying it with a side of citrus cider. The noodles were crispy, the cabbage was so soft, the meat was juicy and filling, and it was delicious. A friend I brought along said they want to come back again. I'm glad I brought them here. I often go to the Shinbashi branch, but this time I visited the Soramachi branch for the first time. The restaurant is located in the dining area of Soramachi, so it is easy to enter. Unlike Shinbashi, there is no teppan grill at the customer seats, so the authentic feeling is lessened, but it was nice that it wasn't hot in front of you and the smell didn't stick to your clothes. The taste was as delicious as always. The sweet sauce is always the best. It was served on a plate, but I was able to eat it hot until the end. Thank you for the meal.

Two of us visited the restaurant in the evening when there was a little bit of a lull in customers, but before we knew it, it was full. We ordered the meat-filled rice cake and beef tendon omelette. The staff were very friendly and the dishes were served quickly. Both dishes were delicious and very filling! Affordable and delicious! I definitely want to go back again.

When I went to Solamachi for work, I had lunch at this restaurant. It's a place where the staff cooks Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki for you. Since it was my first time trying Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, I ordered the simplest option, which was the "nikutama" (pork and egg) okonomiyaki. You can customize the amount of noodles, opting for extra or half portions, which I found to be a nice touch. The yakisoba had a crispy texture, while the batter and ingredients were moist. The unique flavors made me want to come back for more. It's a family-friendly restaurant that is easy to enter.

In Tokyo, I tried Okonomiyaki for the first time in a while. I can't compare it to Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki since I haven't had it in a long time, but I was excited to try it again. I also tried the Okonomiyaki with mentaiko sauce, which is exclusive to Solamachi, but the regular Okonomiyaki was still the best. The restaurant floor at Solamachi gathers famous Okonomiyaki shops from all over the country, and this place is definitely one of the top contenders. There were three groups waiting in line, but the turnover during lunchtime is fast, and we were seated in 15 minutes. Just for reference.

After sightseeing at the Skytree around 6 pm, we visited this restaurant for dinner. We were seated right away. It was just my wife and I, so we ordered two okonomiyaki and one side dish, which came to about 4500 yen. We had the special okonomiyaki with everything on it, as well as the oyster teppanyaki. The okonomiyaki was simple but delicious. The squid tempura was also good. The oysters were tasty too. We had a delicious meal today as well.

I entered the restaurant as soon as it opened, along with three other groups waiting in line. I ordered a highball, a draft beer, squid tempura, mentaiko sauce, and a salad with shirasu and green onions, which came to just under 5000 yen. The Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki seemed a bit smaller than I expected, more like what you'd find in a family restaurant. The taste was decent, but I heard that the one at Mitchan in Shinbashi is more authentic, so I'll have to try that next time. The mentaiko sauce dish is apparently exclusive to Solamachi, but it was a bit too salty for my liking. The salad with green onions and shirasu was good, especially for those who like green onions (which I do). Orders are placed using a terminal, and then you take the receipt to the register. Overall, it was decent, and I think it's a good place to grab a quick bite.

Special (with meatballs, squid, shrimp) for 1,480 yen. Visited the main store of Okonomiyaki Micchan in Tokyo Skytree Town, Sumida-ku, Tokyo, for the first time. Visited during lunchtime on a weekday, and there were long lines at other stores as well due to tourists. I vaguely remember enjoying it when I used to travel to Hiroshima frequently in my younger days. The Special is the typical Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with squid and shrimp toppings. It has a generous amount of noodles, a moderate amount of cabbage, and a simple sweet sauce seasoning. The surface of the raw noodles is crispy from being grilled, creating a delicious contrast between soft and crispy parts. The sauce is sweeter than the commercial Otafuku sauce, and adding extra sauce made it too sweet for my taste. There is a slight fruity taste as well. Considering the amount of squid and shrimp, the cost performance is a bit questionable. They seem to pay attention to details such as how the cabbage is cut, the raw noodles, the sauce, and the grilling method. I have visited Hiroshima several times on business trips and have tried okonomiyaki at various places, from well-known shops to tourist-oriented ones. While I remember visiting Micchan multiple times during those trips, I cannot clearly recall the taste from back then, so I cannot make a comparison. Maybe it's the difference between eating it hot off the grill and eating it on a plate. Nevertheless, I felt like something was different and left the restaurant.

There was a famous Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki restaurant at the Skytree. Despite the bustling crowd, we were able to get in quickly. The menu is simple, with different fillings for the okonomiyaki. I chose the one with pork, egg, and squid, and the unique mayonnaise sauce only available at the Soramachi store. The okonomiyaki from Micchan has crispy noodles. My only regret was not adding green onions as a topping. I think it would have been better both visually and in terms of flavor to have added a generous amount of green onions.

On May 20th (Sat) last autumn, when I looked up Michan's restaurant before going to Hiroshima, I found out that they also have a branch at Skytree. So even if I don't go to Hiroshima, I can still enjoy Michan's okonomiyaki! ♬(人*´∀`)。*゚+ Therefore, I headed to Soramachi for Michan's. It's probably because of the location, but it's more expensive than eating in Hiroshima, right? I always get the oyster, soba, and green onion toppings. I tried the Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki for dinner, which had oysters in it. It was a standard okonomiyaki and cost 1700 yen. I thought the cabbage on the bottom was a bit thin, and I felt like there was less flour than usual. The Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with less flour was good. I think next time I'll try the negiyaki (okonomiyaki with green onions) or other menu items with drinks. The crispy texture of the yakisoba was really delicious.

Today, I went to the restaurant despite thinking it might be reckless. I had to wait for 40 minutes to get a table, but my okonomiyaki arrived in just 2 minutes after being seated. I tried the Tokyo Solamachi exclusive carbonara today. It was very satisfying and I felt full after just that. I was lucky to sit near the kitchen, so I could watch the staff making the okonomiyaki batter, adding vegetables, and cooking noodles to top with the batter and sauce. It was worth the wait.

After enjoying cherry blossoms on a cruise from Shiba Park to Asakusa along the Sumida River, we decided to have dinner on the upper floors of the Skytree. We were in the mood for something with flour, so we went to Micchan, a place we had heard about in Hiroshima. Despite a bit of a wait, we were able to get in fairly quickly. We ordered Okonomiyaki with meat and cheese toppings, as well as mentaiko mayo. The Okonomiyaki was not quite as good as the authentic version, but it was still tasty (especially the sweet cabbage), and it went well with beer. The mentaiko mayo was delicious, but we felt like it could use a bit more flavor.

I arrived around 2 PM and had to wait for 30 minutes on the last day of the 30% PayPay discount in Sumida Ward. The okonomiyaki with mentaiko mayo was 1480 yen, while the one with pork and squid was 1150 yen. The salted kelp cabbage was 480 yen and the oyster butter soy sauce grilled dish was 1280 yen. The Carp Sour was 480 yen. The sauce at Micchan's is delicious. I would like to try the oyster butter and salted kelp cabbage again. Thank you for the meal.

February 4, 2022 - First visit. I visited the main store in Hiroshima last year and was completely captivated by the deliciousness of this restaurant. I was surprised to find out that they also have a store in Solamachi!! And with a 30% cashback PayPay campaign, I just had to go!! So, my husband and I decided to go to Solamachi after a while. Knowing that there would likely be a line based on reviews, we started lining up before the store opened. However, there were already quite a few groups waiting... We were just two groups away from being seated when the restaurant became full, so close...! But surprisingly, we didn't have to wait too long, and we were able to enter the restaurant around 11:30. I was curious about the Solamachi exclusive flavors like "Carbonara" and "Mentaiko Cheese", but from past experience, I knew that it's best to try the normal flavor first rather than the unique ones, so I ordered the "Nikutama with Squid Tempura". My husband, who loves mochi, ordered the "Nikutama with Mochi". The "Nikutama with Squid Tempura" for 1100 yen comes with squid tempura, which seems to be similar to the snack-style tempura often seen. The sauce is already spread on it, but you can ask for a sauce bottle at your table. This sauce is really delicious~♡ I think this sauce is what elevates okonomiyaki to a whole new level!! I spread the sauce generously and let's eat♪ It was delicious, but honestly, it didn't have the same impact as when I had it at the main store. The noodles were crispy at the main store, but here, there was no crispiness... Also, I feel like there were more ingredients at the main store...? I think at the main store, you could choose between udon or soba, but it seems like there is no udon option at the Solamachi store. By the way, I saw some reviews saying "It cools down quickly because it's not on a hot plate but on a regular plate", but personally, I didn't really mind that. I was able to enjoy it while it was still warm until the end♪ I saw some reviews on Tabelog saying "It's not satisfying enough", and both my husband and I felt the same way, like "I wonder why... it's delicious but somehow not satisfying enough...". Maybe if we hadn't eaten at the main store, we wouldn't have felt that it was lacking, but perhaps because the main store was just too delicious haha. Since it's quite difficult to go to the main store, I might visit again when I start craving that sauce...! Thank you for the meal ( ∩'∀'∩)♪

I visited in the early afternoon on a weekday. There weren't many seats, so I had to wait a bit, but I was able to enter relatively smoothly. They seem to recommend oysters because they are originally from Hiroshima, and they were delicious! I had a Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki (I forgot the specific name). It was a bit larger than usual.

This was my first okonomiyaki of the year! The location was on the 6th floor of Tokyo Solamachi, and there was a long line with a wait of about 40 minutes. While waiting, I received a menu and placed my order, so I was able to eat smoothly. The most popular Deluxe Special had a crispy texture of noodles and the taste was just to my liking, so it was excellent. I also ordered oysters and omelettes, which were delicious. It was in the evening, so I think that's why there was a line, but the wait was a bit tough, so I rated it 3.5 stars!
