This dessert is exclusively available at Haneda Airport and Tokyo Station. It is incredibly delicious (*^^*) Smooth and creamy - the mango flavor is absolutely delightful. I definitely want to have it again! I'm also interested in trying the Silky Almond series and other fruit flavors. Highly recommended! (^o^)

I personally love it, so I always stop by to buy souvenirs for myself when I use the airplane. I bought mango, blueberry, and muscat mango pudding. I love strawberries the most, but it seems that strawberries will be available soon due to the season. I buy them even though they are expensive because fruits are not always available.

I bought various souvenirs at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, but when it comes to seasonal sweets, fruit sweets are the best choice. Speaking of fruit sweets, Chidoriya is well-known, with a history dating back to 1834. There are three different branches of Chidoriya, and the one at Haneda Airport seems to be an extension of the main store. The store at Haneda Airport Terminal 2 was established in 2004, so it also has a long history. When you visit the store, the staff are very friendly and helpful. While there were jelly products that could be carried at room temperature, the best ones are those made with fresh fruits. I decided to try the grape jelly, which had grapes on top in a separate container. It did not disappoint, with a high quality that showcased the goodness of the fruit. Despite the higher price, it is a reliable choice that doesn't disappoint due to the high quality and research backed by Chidoriya's long history.

This time, I asked for a souvenir from Senbikiya in Tokyo. Senbikiya never disappoints, so I asked them to find something limited edition for me! "Strawberry Milk Pudding" Since I loved the banana omelette last time, I also asked for a strawberry omelette. First, the strawberry omelette. This was a bit unusual and disappointing (*~ρ~) The strawberries were sour. I've tried various things from Senbikiya before and the sweetness of the fruits never let me down, but this time was a bit sad... However! The "strawberry milk pudding" was delicious♪♪♪ The sweetness and acidity of the strawberries were perfect. The sauce on top was also delicious. Even though there was a warning to be careful when opening the sauce, I still spilled it (^_^;) That's pretty much how it went (^_^;) I didn't read the warning... Anyway, the strawberry milk pudding was delicious and amazing♪ The disappointment from the omelette was erased.

I always end up rushing home, and this time I was planning to have the plate udon at Akasaka Rikyu, but I ran out of time. Instead, I had a fresh apple juice for 432 yen at this shop and I was satisfied for now. The melon juice for 648 yen also caught my eye, but since the apple juice was selling well, I went with that. The mango pudding looked delicious too. Of course, the juice at the lounge is on a different level. It feels great to have something delicious. I hope Chifaya will open a store in Fukuoka.

Senbikiya is a high-end fruit store established 121 years ago. Their fruit-based sweets are delicious, especially the fruit roll cake. It's filled with fluffy cake, delicious fruits, and cream, but it has become quite expensive now, around 1800 yen, so I had to give up on that. Today's souvenir is the fruit almond jelly~ It's a perfect almond jelly with a jelly-like texture and a separate fruit sauce that you pour over the almond just before eating. Senbikiya's unique almond jelly! Peach almond jelly (540 yen) and orange almond jelly (540 yen). It's not peach season yet, so the peach texture is a bit off, but the puree-like sauce is very delicious! The orange one has a slightly strong acidity, like pink grapefruit. The sauce is a bit runny, but when combined with the jelly, it's really tasty~ (laughs) Senbikiya is truly amazing~ I might get their limited edition product next time~ Thank you for the meal~♪

Tokyo Food Hall at the Second Terminal - When you arrive by bus from YCAT, it is located right in the center. The fruit juice is only available at the shop on the basement floor. You can purchase fruit mille-feuille souvenirs here. The drinks in the lounge are generally not delicious, so it's better to buy fruit juice, ice cream, or almond jelly before heading to the lounge. This time, I bought mango almond jelly for myself. The almond jelly from Sembikiya is topped with mango just before eating. It is more delicious than almond jelly from any high-end Chinese restaurant. It's one of the pleasures of departing from Haneda Airport. It was delicious. The fruit mille-feuille souvenir was okay. I still prefer Harada's rusk. They occasionally have temporary stalls, so I think Harada might officially open a shop there eventually.

It had two layers - the top cup had a mango sauce with cute star-shaped nata de coco, and the bottom was almond pudding, which was not too rich but rather ordinary. Overall, it had a light sweetness. In November 2014, I bought a Rich Chestnut Pudding for 500 yen, also with two layers - milk sauce with chestnut pieces on top, and chestnut pudding on the bottom. Compared to the chestnut puddings you find in convenience stores during this season, the difference in taste wasn't that significant... Sure, the fact that it had chestnuts made it high-end. Now that I live in Yokohama, I can go to Sembikiya anytime, which makes me less eager to go. I'm considering visiting the fruit buffet at the Sembikiya in Shin-Yokohama. This time it was mango, peach, kiwi, and orange. A mature almond jelly with the bitterness and acidity of blood oranges. The fluffy almond jelly has a rich and creamy flavor. And the sauce with a strong fruit juice sensation adds a nice touch. This unique almond jelly is something you can't find elsewhere. And then, Grape Jelly for ¥648. I was thinking of getting two almond jellies, but grape jelly!? And it's more expensive than almond jelly! What's going on here?! Chidoriya's "Grape Jelly" is not your typical grape jelly. It has the depth, bitterness, richness, and aroma as if you were drinking wine. I was moved after just one bite. The bottom layer is fresh, sweet, and refreshing grapes. The sauce on top has a deep, mature aroma. The balance is exquisite. When you put it in your mouth, the fresh and refreshing grape aroma and flavor come first, followed by a rich aroma and bitterness that lingers in your nose, leaving a long-lasting aftertaste. It's amazing. I'm so impressed to have tasted such delicious jelly. I wonder if the almond jelly with any fruit would be just as amazing... It seems like it's melon and grape season now, so I'd love to try them. I was able to encounter delicious food until the very end. Thank you for the meal!

This store is located on the Excel Hotel Tokyu side, at the end of the departure lobby, in front of departure gate A, so there were items in stock that were sold out at the Kin no Tsubasa store. - Silk fruit almond jelly Mango It's no wonder that mango is popular. Because of its location, many people buy souvenirs here, so there are a lot of baked goods and long-lasting sweets available. However, I really like that Chihana-ya offers fresh fruit-based sweets. Since I live in Ota Ward, I sometimes visit the airport without taking a flight, so it's nice to be able to bring home a cake. The taste is that of a long-established fruit shop. You can't go wrong. Sweets made with plenty of seasonal fruits are delicious. My husband sometimes buys them as souvenirs after his business trips, and they are popular among men because they are not too sweet.

In February 2014, I received a recommendation from a polite waitress and bought a strawberry sauce almond tofu pudding and a mango pudding with almond tofu sauce, along with some shortbread. I chose the mango pudding. Despite the large container, I was worried it might be too sweet, but when I took a bite, the delicious taste of mango spread in my mouth, with a hint of almond tofu sauce adding a slight sourness to balance the sweetness. The strawberry sauce almond tofu pudding also looked delicious with a hint of strawberry aroma. The recommendation from the helpful waitress was spot on.
