The pastry boutique "Westin Deli" within The Westin Tokyo is popular for its "Signature Choux Cream" and "Special Westin Pudding," which are made with high-quality ingredients and techniques. The choux cream tends to sell out quickly, so I had been turned away a few times before. This time, I made a reservation in advance. Located on the first floor of The Westin Tokyo, the showcase was already empty of choux cream when I arrived. I was glad I had made a reservation. In addition to the seasonal strawberry items, there were also Mont Blanc and Fraisier available. Priced at around 1,000 yen per piece, it is a bit on the expensive side due to it being in a hotel. However, the petit gateaux here are larger in size, so I don't think it's too pricey. When I made my reservation, I only ordered the choux cream, but managed to get the last piece of the popular pudding as well. I also purchased the Fraisier and Mont Blanc. After returning home, I tried them out. - Signature Choux Cream (660 yen?): ★4.0 I reserved 2 pieces without checking the size, but they turned out to be big! The choux cream is about twice the size of a regular one. When you open the choux, you'll find a sea of custard inside. It has a perfect balance of sweetness and rich flavor. The generous amount makes it satisfying without getting tired of it. Scooping up the custard while breaking the choux wall, you can enjoy it to the last bite. Thanks to its size, you can savor the custard thoroughly. - Fraisier (900 yen): ★4.0 The top strawberry is so big that it covers the shop name "Westin" on top (lol). A pistachio-based Fraisier sandwiched between dacquoise. Except for the top and bottom layers, it's all pistachio mousseline and a huge strawberry. The rich pistachio flavor combined with the juicy strawberry juice. The lingering aroma of kirsch is also nice. I thoroughly enjoyed the pistachio mousseline. - Mont Blanc (1,000 yen): ★3.8 The Mont Blanc is also big in size. It has a rich chestnut flavor from the chestnut paste, likely made from Japanese chestnuts. Inside the chantilly, there are chestnut candied in syrup and cream. The chantilly and cream have sweetness, so the base is sponge cake to balance out the sweetness. While focusing on chestnuts, it offers a well-balanced Mont Blanc that allows you to enjoy the chantilly and cream. - Special Westin Pudding (600 yen): ★3.9 Alongside the choux cream, the Westin's popular pudding is a hit. It has a rich custard with a strong bitterness from the caramel. The richness of the eggs and the bitterness of the caramel combine to create an adult flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed each element of the special choux cream and the pudding. Thank you for the delicious treats.

After eating sushi at Sushi Bun, I stopped by here. It was Saturday, around 11:30. I saw a review saying that you need to make a reservation, so I thought it might be too late to do it on the same day. I decided to try anyway and asked if they could hold some for me, and it was no problem. As expected from The Westin Hotel, the phone service was perfect. I took a leisurely walk from Ebisu Station East Exit through the Sky Walk, about 10 minutes. It's been about 5 years since I last visited Garden Place. I used to come here often for drinks at night... it's nostalgic. I kept moving from the basement level. I was able to go without being exposed to the sun. The hotel inside was extremely beautiful and made my heart race. They were in a showcase in the first-floor corridor. Around 12:30, there were still plenty in the case. I bought two cream puffs for 650 yen each and was surprised when I saw them. They were huge! They seemed to be about 1.5 times the size of a regular cream puff. With this size, it makes sense for them to be this price. When I cut into them, there was an overflowing amount of cream inside. And it was smooth, rich, and delicious. I couldn't finish it all. It was delicious, but I prefer a crispy cream puff shell... If I stop by Ebisu again, I might buy them again. Thank you for the meal. I bought two, so I resisted the temptation of Robuchon on the way.

❥Visit day: Saturday (reservation)❥Items purchased: Special cream puff and custard pudding I think you can purchase them during weekdays until the afternoon, but on weekends or holidays, they tend to sell out quickly, so I recommend making a reservation. I tried both the cream puff and custard pudding. The custard pudding was voluminous and satisfying in size, but I personally found the bitterness of the caramel sauce and the strong taste of alcohol in the sauce a bit off-putting. However, I was truly impressed by the big-sized cream puff! Not only was it large, but it was also filled generously with smooth and rich cream. The balance between the creamy and crispy choux pastry was perfect, making it an outstanding treat. The deliciousness was irresistible. The cream is whipped, then the air is removed before mixing it with custard cream, which shows the incredible effort put into making it. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that it's so big that it's difficult to take a bite (laughs). Despite the challenge, I enjoyed it thoroughly by combining the choux pastry and cream together, and managed to finish it in one go. It leaves you satisfied and full. It was so delicious that I already made a reservation for next weekend. I highly recommend trying this cream puff.

I visited on a sunny Saturday at 1:30 pm. The shop was under renovation, but there was a temporary sales area in the back. I was able to get the cream puffs I was looking for. I bought cream puffs, shortcake, Sachertorte, and pudding. Everything was delicious, but I especially liked the shortcake. It had plenty of whipped cream but wasn't too heavy, in fact, I wanted to eat more. It's worth the 1000 yen. I would like to buy it as a treat once in a while.

The cream puffs here are delicious! When I visited in June of Reiwa 5, they were selling 20 on weekdays and 30 on weekends. Sometimes they sell out around noon. Currently under renovation, so it may require same-day reservations. Previously, they also accepted advance reservations. If they resume advance reservations, it's best to book early. You can also add a plate or candle for an additional fee. Additionally, you can enjoy their cakes at Compass Rose on the 22nd floor of The Westin Hotel. If you haven't tried their cream puffs yet, I highly recommend them! 😊✨

The American cherry cream puff was delicious, especially the custard and puff pastry at the bottom. However, I found the combination of American cherry and chocolate cream a bit heavy for my taste. Next time, I think I'll just get the plain cream puff to go.

Due to renovation work, there was a small shop next to the cigar club. I saw their fruit punch on TV and suddenly had a craving for it, so I bought the Westin Fruit Punch (1,300 yen) and a cream puff (650 yen). The cream puff was dense and heavy, with just the right amount of sweetness in the custard cream and a hint of vanilla beans. The fruit punch had incredibly sweet fruits, soaked in a refreshing syrup, making it a sophisticated adult version of fruit punch.

Pudding 600 yen (tax included) *Takeout Recently, there has been a trend of retro Showa-style cafes serving old-fashioned, firm puddings that are popular. But trying the pudding from The Westin Deli after a long time is truly in a class of its own. The texture is just amazing. It has a rich flavor yet is smooth. You can clearly taste the aroma of the vanilla beans. And the caramel sauce has a satisfying bittersweetness. Not too sweet, not too bitter, just perfect. Although it is sold in a glass, I still prefer to enjoy it on a plate. I want to savor its beautiful shape with my eyes as well. However, as you can see, there was a slight mishap. Let's hope for success next time. The Westin's pudding is perfect for a home cafe. Enjoy it slowly with a strong cup of coffee for a blissful experience.

It has a luxurious feel. The surface has a high proportion of vanilla beans, so you can really taste the vanilla when you eat it. The inside is rich, smooth, and just the right firmness. Yes, it's a pricier pudding, but worth it. The caramel sauce is sweet, but also has a slight bitterness and hint of alcohol, making it sophisticated. Served in a glass, it's a pudding that exudes luxury. However, it's a bit disappointing that the Westin label on the side is just a sticker. Overall, it's a delicious, sophisticated pudding, but maybe not my all-time favorite.

I had always wanted to try the cream puffs from the Westin Hotel, which is known as the "king of cream puffs" in Ebisu. My wish finally came true. I have been to the Westin Hotel before for their dessert buffet, but this was my first time visiting the cafe. I had heard that the cream puffs sell out quickly in the morning, so I called three days in advance to reserve two cream puffs and two puddings. When I visited around 2 pm on the day, there were still some limited edition cream puffs available, but the signature ones were sold out. There were plenty of puddings, and there was only one cheesecake left, so I swapped one of the reserved puddings for the cheesecake. The cream puffs were ¥650 each and were packed with cream! The cream was rich but not heavy, with a generous amount of custard and whipped cream in perfect balance. The choux pastry was crispy and fragrant, although softer than I had imagined. It had a slightly stronger baked flavor than regular cream puffs. The size was satisfying, not too sweet, and not too heavy. The Camembert cheesecake was more like pure Camembert cheese than a cheesecake, with a soft and rich texture. The pudding was rich but not overpowering, smooth and creamy with a strong caramel sauce. It is recommended to eat it on a plate, as it is quite firm. The coffee was also good. Overall, the cream puffs at the Westin Hotel were delicious and worth trying, showcasing the hotel's commitment to high-quality sweets. I heard that the dessert buffet might be discontinued, but I would love to visit again for the cafe lounge experience.

On my third visit, the cream puffs were delicious as always. They were filled with plenty of cream and had a crispy outer layer, which was very satisfying. I had made a reservation in advance, so ordering was smooth. They also had strawberry products available in April, which caught my interest. I would like to try them next time.

On Saturday around 2 pm, I visited the shop after making a reservation for cream puffs in advance. Although the shop had cakes and pudding on display, there were no cream puffs available, so I was glad I had made a reservation. The cream puff cost 650 yen. The puff pastry was crispy and the top was made of cookie dough, which I personally really liked. The cream was packed full and very voluminous, but it was so delicious that I ended up finishing it quickly by eating just the cream or dipping the puff pastry in it. Next time, I would like to try the pudding as well.

I visited here after attending a wine market party. I tried the Strawberry Choux Cream for 1000 yen, which was quite large. Since it's a hotel, the ingredients were of good quality. However, with hotel establishments, the ambiance and service play a big role in experiencing the true value. So, I would recommend using the cafe for a more comfortable experience.

I had been thinking about this cream puff for a while! I found out that reservations were required, so I called two days in advance and visited around 4 pm on a weekday. Some reviews mentioned that they sell out in the morning, but that day there were still 2-3 left! I brought it home and ate it right away. When I cut it in the middle, the cross-section looked like this! I may have never seen a cream puff so full of cream before! I was very impressed. It had a rich custard filling and was very satisfying. It's quite big, so it will fill you up! I love cream puffs, especially ones with lots of custard, and this one has become my favorite cream puff out of all the ones I've tried. It's a taste I definitely want to eat again before I die.

While visiting Ebisu, I also got some takeout cakes. Each cake had a large portion and although they were a bit pricey, I was very satisfied with the amount. The cream puffs were filled to the brim and had a beautiful cross-section. The taste was also delicious. I couldn't finish it all by myself, so I ended up sharing half of it with someone else.

At the "Westin Hotel Tokyo Lobby Floor" in Ebisu, there is a sweets shop where you can purchase original sweets, jams, dressings, and more. I visited aiming for the bakery at the opening time of 10 o'clock, but they were not selling bread at the time, so I ended up buying a pudding that I could eat quickly. [Mango Pudding] ¥850 - A rich and smooth mango pudding topped with fresh berries and mango fruit sauce. The slight bitterness of the orange peel in the sauce enhances the sweetness of the mango even more.

This year, I spent Christmas at Garden Place and stopped by the Westin Hotel. Just like last year, there were lots of children in front of the big Christmas tree. In contrast, the Baccarat tree at Garden Place had mostly adults in front of it, so the atmosphere here was warmer. I didn't expect it, but the fruit punch I was looking for was not available that day. Last year, Sunday was on the 26th, so I was able to buy it then. Since I was already there, I decided to purchase a Christmas-themed item. I bought the Hojicha Panna Cotta and Chestnut Chantilly for 900 yen. It came in a glass, giving it a luxurious feel. The decoration was cute, with Santa and his reindeer connected by a target. There was also a paper tree stuck in a snow mountain, which was adorable. The sweetness of the hojicha panna cotta was quite mild, and the chestnut chantilly was not overly sweet either, focusing more on the flavors. Overall, it had a light and fluffy texture, and the chestnut confit on top was delightfully soft. The chestnut chantilly was balanced and integrated well, surprising me as I didn't have high expectations. The staff at Westin is always friendly, but the only downside is that the checkout process takes a long time. Afterward, I ended up buying several writer-themed plates (I did it again). Complaining about the weight of the glass dessert and then adding more weight with plates... What am I doing carrying all this to a live event? Anyway, I was surprised by the revival of Garden Place since I wondered what would happen after Mitsukoshi left. It has come back strong, and the difference from last year was impressive.

I went to The Westin Hotel to see the usual Christmas decorations. In front of the Christmas tree, a newlywed couple was taking commemorative photos. They looked so happy. My source of happiness at The Westin is their classic trio (lol) Special Mont Blanc for 1000 yen (tax included) has finally reached the 1000 yen mark (tears). It has been renewed from a cup to a flat type. I used to like it, but oh well. However, my number one Mont Blanc remains the same with its moist sponge base, custard, cream, chestnut jam, and chestnut cream. The composition is almost the same as before, but the amount of chestnut cream covering the whole cake may have increased. Maybe that's why the price went up? The cream puff for 650 yen (tax included) is heavy and full of impact. The thick, crispy, and fragrant skin is baked thoroughly. It is filled without any gaps with a milky and rich creamy filling that melts in your mouth. One cream puff is enough to satisfy your happiness. The special Westin pudding for 600 yen has a smooth texture that will surely surprise you. It is my number one pudding.
