I revisited Ginza Amakusa. This restaurant is known for its delicious Mizutaki (chicken hot pot), but their Basashi (horse sashimi) is also incredibly tasty. I brought a friend who loves Basashi with me this time, and we decided to have a drink together. We started with a toast with beer. The homemade smoked assorted plate caught our eye first, so we ordered that along with the Basashi assortment we were looking forward to. The Basashi is sourced directly from the famous Kogane Ranch in Kumamoto, known as the best in Japan. I remember being amazed by the incredible flavor when I had it before. It pairs perfectly with shochu. The Dashimaki Tamago (rolled omelette) was also delicious, and we polished it off with beer. The smoked assorted plate included mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and liver, all homemade by the restaurant. Each dish was meticulously prepared and perfect for drinking. Finally, the long-awaited Basashi arrived. The generous serving of Basashi, paired with condiments, was full of rich flavor with elegant fat that did not disappoint. While the Mizutaki is also delicious, whenever I crave Basashi, I find myself coming back to Amakusa. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I'll be back again!

The ingredients were great and very delicious! It's something I don't usually eat, so it's perfect for special occasions like invitations or dates. The location is close to Ginza Station, which is very convenient. Despite being in Ginza, you can eat delicious food at a reasonable price, making it very cost-effective!

Visited as an accounting staff. The atmosphere was dimly lit and sophisticated, perfect for adult gatherings. The staff's service was mild and the sashimi and other dishes were delicious. The reason for the separate service charge is unclear, maybe it's for the table fee. When dining with other people's money or expenses, you can enjoy without worrying about the extras.

We used this restaurant for a reunion on a Friday night. We enjoyed dishes like lotus root with mustard, a selection of freshly smoked items, Amakusa Daio's hot pot, and delicious cherry and chicken meat. Despite being in Ginza, the cost performance is excellent. It's the best restaurant where you can taste Kumamoto right in the heart of Tokyo.

The horse sashimi was fresh and delicious. There were three types of meat, but the horse mane was a bit fatty. The chicken sashimi allowed for enjoying various parts. The salad was fresh, and the grilled dishes could be enjoyed with salt, miso, or yuzu pepper. The dessert was milk pudding, but I wanted to try the Dekopon sherbet.

Whenever I go, I can always enjoy a great time. From appetizers to salads, horse sashimi, chicken sashimi, and sukiyaki, each dish is carefully prepared and delicious. Above all, the manager's personality is warm and wonderful. Whenever I want to have a leisurely conversation with someone special, I always use this place.

I went to a restaurant I love after a long time, where they serve both Mizutaki (chicken hot pot) and Basashi (horse sashimi). The Basashi is from Furusato Ranch, where they handle everything from production to sales, and it's really delicious and tender. I enjoyed the Futagoe, Momo, and Tategami cuts this time. Even the daikon radish, myoga ginger, and shell ginger were delicious! We enjoyed it with sweet soy sauce from Kyushu, ginger, and garlic. The Karashi Renkon (lotus root with mustard) was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch and spiciness. And now, the Mizutaki - I really love the Mizutaki here. It's a creamy, rich soup made by simmering chicken and vegetables for 10 hours. The Amakusa Daio chicken used here is the best! The staff were attentive and efficient, even though the restaurant was busy, they provided great service. The total cost for non-alcoholic drinks was ==========

I enjoyed the course with the legendary Amakusa Ōkami water chanko-nabe with all-you-can-drink option. It was my first time trying horse sashimi, and it was delicious, I think I'm hooked! The tsukune with cartilage in the collagen chanko-nabe was excellent in both flavor and texture. I thought I was quite full, but the udon at the end disappeared in no time. There are various types of shochu available, so I recommend asking the friendly and kind staff for recommendations and trying out different ones.

I have no connection to Kyushu, but in recent years, I have had many opportunities to enjoy Kyushu cuisine even while in Tokyo. This restaurant, which mainly uses Kumamoto ingredients, was a favorite spot for business dinners before the pandemic. I visited after about 3 years and everything was just as good as I remembered. The salad with tomato sherbet was impressive, and the platter of horse meat sashimi and chicken sashimi was visually stunning. The creamy Amakusa Daio chicken soup hot pot was the best collagen booster. Everything was delicious. Opting for the all-you-can-drink plan could make the experience relatively affordable and enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I made a reservation for a course priced at 6600 yen, which includes service charge and tax. I visited for a business meeting and ordered a drink right away. Long story short, the drink took quite a while to arrive, haha. Our table was forgotten three times when it came to drinks. The same thing happened at the table next to us, haha. I think it's a bit questionable to charge a service fee for this kind of service. As for the taste, the appetizer was nothing special, the horse sashimi and chicken sashimi were average, the salad was good thanks to the dressing and sherbet, the grilled dishes were ordinary, the hot pot had a delicious broth but the meat, vegetables, and meatballs were just average. The octopus and cucumber skewers were tasty with tender octopus. The porridge at the end had a delicious broth, making it a high-quality dish. The dessert was a milk pudding. The hot pot was really delicious, but overall, the other dishes lacked any distinctive features.

At this restaurant where you can enjoy Kumamoto horse sashimi and Amakusa Daio, we started our dinner with a beer and a salad. We also had Aso sake. The horse sashimi platter was delicious! In addition to the platter, they also offer horse sashimi made with lean meat, which was even more satisfying. We tried the Amakusa Daio Yukke and the Amakusa Daio lava-grilled dish. We also had a parent and child rice bowl and chicken soup. Both the horse sashimi and chicken were delicious.

I went to a Kumamoto cuisine restaurant located on Namiki Street in Ginza Go-chome, which is easy to find nearby. The interior of the restaurant felt a bit cramped, maybe because it was in the back, giving a sense of being crowded. Although the tables were for four people, it felt like the neighboring tables were too close. It might be better to visit with a small group. I ordered the Kumamoto Furusato Ranch's premium cherry blossom meat assortment, spicy lotus root chicken mince, dashimaki tamago, yakiniku lava grill, and Amakusa Daio assortment with spicy mentaiko. For drinks, I had beer, Tomonohako-yama, Nokanoya's bride, and Dabada Fire Dance. The photo is of Dabada Fire Dance, but it's hard to tell the difference, haha. The standout dish today was definitely the cherry blossom meat assortment. The meat from horses raised purely on Kumamoto ranches was beautifully arranged, including the hump, mane, and thigh. My favorite was the hump. It made me want to go to Kumamoto and try more dishes. I should go there next time!
