On a holiday, I had dinner at Shibuya Jinbocho. I remembered how delicious it was when I went to the solo shabu-shabu Matsugoro's Akasaka store before, so I decided to try it again. This restaurant is located near Jinbocho Station on the upper part of Dogenzaka. It's a calm area a little away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya. The interior of the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I ordered: - Black Wagyu beef red meat carpaccio 1,480 yen - Salmon, shrimp, and avocado tartare 980 yen - Truffle butter fried potatoes 740 yen - Special plum suki hot pot 3,980 yen - Finishing somen 300 yen - Frozen mojito 700 yen - Cassis bubbles 700 yen - Apple juice 400 yen First, cheers with the frozen mojito!! It feels cool because it was hot outside. It's refreshing with plenty of sweet mango! There were plenty of fruit cocktails using fruit mojitos and sparkling wine. I'll have the special mayonnaise sauce and cabbage with the appetizer. The black Wagyu beef carpaccio is tender and full of flavor of red meat. It's topped with olive oil, soy sauce, and powdered cheese, with a spicy aftertaste that becomes addictive. The crispy shrimp, salmon, and avocado tartare are served on a baguette. The crispy and fluffy baguette has a good olive oil flavor. The tartare is not too sweet, light, and refreshing, especially when squeezed with lemon. The fried potatoes come in a variety of flavors and types. This time I chose the country wedge, which is a thick-cut potato with skin. The creamy truffle-scented butter on the fluffy potato was delicious, and I couldn't stop eating it. The plum suki hot pot is tall and generous in portion!! First, dip the sirloin lettuce rolls in the broth, and eat them with chopped crispy plum. The meat was recommended by the staff to be rare. It was tender and had a juicy richness. The moderate acidity of the crispy plum made it refreshing to eat. The hot pot is filled with rib roast, lettuce, bean sprouts, burdock, Chinese cabbage, green onions, flavored radish, tofu, and plenty of ingredients. The broth is not too sour due to the plum, and it has a rich taste from the plum umami and rib roast. Mix the rib roast with beaten egg and crispy plum, and enjoy. The mild sourness doesn't overpower the deliciousness of the meat, and it enhances the flavor, making it very delicious. For the finishing touch, I had somen. The combination of broth and somen was perfect, and I finished it smoothly. The crispy texture of the plum added a nice touch, and it was a hot pot that I could enjoy until the end without feeling heavy! There were also delicious-looking desserts, but I was full from the hot pot. The atmosphere of the staff was also good, so I would like to visit again. (*˘︶˘*).。*♡
