I visited a factory store that wholesales baguettes to various hotels and famous shops. On September 18th, a Monday and a holiday, I arrived at around 12:00, right after the opening time. There was one customer already inside, and no one else came in after me. The display case was almost empty, with a couple of varieties already sold out. Even the baguette sandwiches advertised on the wall were all sold out. When I asked, they said they couldn't serve baguettes at the moment. Disappointing. I ended up buying a Walnut Chocolate Anko, Walnut, Kirikuri Cream Cheese, Baguette Sausage, Cheese Sandwich, and Honey Butter Sandwich. The products were all delicious, especially the Baguette Sausage. The bread was hard but perfect when lightly toasted. Overall, the bread was tasty, but the selection was lacking, and it felt a bit lonely as it seemed like they were about to close.

Originally a bakery that supplied bread to hotels and restaurants in Shinjuku, this bakery has now expanded to have stores in Gyoenmae and Yotsuya, making it accessible to the general public. The factory store attached to the bakery is located on a quiet street between Higashi-Shinjuku Station and Shinjuku-Sanchome Station. When I visited in the early afternoon, there were four customers ahead of me. After a short wait, I entered the store.
- Antique (Levain) 280 yen
Pairs well with cheese and wine
The crust is thin, with a crunchy yet slightly moist texture. The crumb is not too chewy, leaning towards a soft and moist texture without being too high in hydration. As you continue to chew, the taste evolves into a complex mix of sweetness and acidity. This bread offers depth as you eat through it. With this, I have now conquered all three Ravage stores, yet I have never tried their baguette... Someday, I would like to try it.

When I arrived around 12 p.m. on Saturday, there weren't many varieties available yet. So, I decided to buy a little of everything. Each bread had a simple deliciousness that made it clear there were no unnecessary additives. The aroma of wheat was very noticeable. I particularly liked the walnut baguette. The taste of walnut and wheat came through directly. I dipped it in a little honey, and it was really delicious.

I bought a small baguette for 200 yen as a discounted item. I visited several bakeries that day and couldn't finish eating all the bread, so I only bought this one. The bakery is located in a corner of a residential building in a neighborhood next to Shinjuku Bunka Kaikan. It was a bit hard to find. I sliced the baguette thinly and enjoyed it with olive oil, butter, and jam.

The sandwiches at a sandwich cafe in Omotesando were delicious. When I asked about the bakery they use, I found out they use the bread from this shop. I discovered they have a factory direct sale on Saturdays, so I visited. However, when I arrived in the late morning, there weren't many options available, and the staff told me that they don't have the sandwiches that are usually available on weekdays. It was disappointing because the sandwiches looked delicious in the pictures. Nonetheless, I bought a sausage bun and a restaurant bread, which were also tasty and helped to slightly improve my disappointment.

I visited this shop a short walk from Higashi-Shinjuku Station. It is a factory with a store attached. I tried the "Bucket Sausage," which is a long sausage inside a hard bread. They also have some discounted breads available, so I would like to come here early in the morning.

Located in a residential area about a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku-sanchome Station, this shop provides baguettes to various hotels and famous establishments. Unfortunately, when I arrived early, there were no baguettes available yet, and they are usually ready around 2:00 pm. I tried the Bacon Epi for 330 yen, which is a French bread made with aromatic bacon. The unique smoky flavor of the bacon paired well with the hard texture of the bread, which also had a hint of wheat sweetness. The Cream Pan for 230 yen had a generous amount of homemade custard that was delightfully soft and not too sweet, making it easy to eat. The Anpan for 185 yen used red beans from Tokachi and had a good amount of sweet red bean paste in a thin bread. The sweetness was just right, and the poppy seeds on top added a nice texture. I look forward to trying their baguettes next time.

When I went to Don Suke from Pan-ya it was closed, which made me sad. So, I decided to visit this bakery in the same area of Higashi Shinjuku. Since it was Saturday evening, most of the products were sold out. The only items left were baguettes and batards. The baguette was just freshly baked, so I decided to buy the batard for dinner. The packaging was cute. I enjoyed it at home with cheese. The crust was crispy and the inside was soft and chewy. The slight saltiness went well with the cheese. It also paired nicely with ham and wine. I wanted to try their sandwich as well. Ah, it was delicious.

I arrived before the opening time and found two people already waiting in line. The shutter opened right at the opening time (11:45) and we entered the shop. Currently, only up to 4 people are allowed in at once. Looking outside, I saw a line of customers forming. I ordered a Baguette (Ham & Cheese), Mayo Corn, Bacon Epi, and Sweet Potato Pie. The Baguette (Ham & Cheese) was wrapped in a transparent plastic bag after purchase. When I opened it, the aroma of the baguette was delightful, and the crispy texture made it very delicious. The Mayo Corn was large and heavy, filled with plenty of corn. The Bacon Epi was heated in the oven until the bacon sizzled, making it very tasty. The Sweet Potato Pie had a crispy exterior with black sesame seeds adding a nice touch. *Cash only*

I stopped by here after visiting a curry restaurant in Higashi Shinjuku. I bought a pain au chocolat, cream pan, and milk daifuku. The prices were reasonable. The pain au chocolat was light and crispy, the cream pan was basic but tasty, and the milk daifuku was also good. Overall, the breads were delicious. I would use this bakery if it were closer, but since there are many bakeries near Shinjuku Station, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

I stopped by as I was nearby. This is a bakery store near Shinjuku Gyoen. The store has a residential look, almost like a house. They are closed on Saturdays from 3pm to 4pm, so I had to wait for about 5 minutes upon arrival. I entered at 4pm and most of the items were sold out. I bought the signature baguette and walnut chocolate anko bread. The baguette had a soft exterior and a chewy interior. It was sweet and delicious even on its own. The walnut chocolate anko bread was filled with plenty of ingredients as the name suggests. The ingredients were quite pronounced, but the bread balanced it out nicely. It was delicious and well-balanced. Thank you for the meal, this bakery is truly delicious.

I purchased a 566 yen bread called "Morning Bread" at "La Baguette Factory Store" in Shinjuku. It is a bakery located in a residential area in Shinjuku Roku-chome. I ate the bread on a bench near the Fuchu Forest around the Tama River. The Orange Peel in the bread gives it a balanced bitterness and sweetness, suitable for adults. The inside of the bread is soft, but the surface is hard and may hurt your jaw. The Bacon Epi, with crispy bacon inside, offers a delightful bacon flavor. It is longer and easier to eat when torn into bite-sized pieces.

La Baguette is a bakery that unexpectedly appears in a back alley in Higashi Shinjuku. The shop is located next to a factory that supplies bread to restaurants in Tokyo, which is why there are many bikes parked in the back, waiting for deliveries. When I visited in the afternoon, most of the sandwiches like egg and ham cheese were almost sold out. I ended up buying a cheese sandwich and a croque monsieur. The cheese sandwich was made with a small baguette cut in half and filled with cheese. The baguette had a good balance of firmness, not too hard even when cooled. When reheated, it became crispy again while maintaining a slight chewiness. The croque monsieur was not the traditional three-layered type, but had a more enveloping feel to it. It had a nice balance. I bought two sandwiches on a whim and they were good, so I definitely want to try croissants or other popular items next time!

◎Butter Croissant 280 yen (tax included) ★ Even after 3.5 hours, the chewy texture is still excellent. It is recommended to eat it immediately after purchase if you do not reheat it. If you reheat it, it will become crispy and taste like freshly baked.
◎Walnut Chocolate Anko Bun 286 yen (tax included) ★ After leaving the store, I took a bite. It's delicious! What a wonderful combination! It was so delicious that I went back to the store and bought one more. I was truly moved. I want to buy it again.
◎Useful Information: It is said that on weekends and holidays from 12:00 onwards, the selection is limited, especially on Sundays. Items like baguette sandwiches may not be available on Sundays. (As of 2022.2.13.12:05)

There are two types of stores, one is just a store and the other is a store with a factory attached, but I decided to go to the "Main Factory Store" because it was easy to get to. It suddenly appears in a residential alley. The shop is cute. There aren't many varieties, but they had baguettes, batards, and square loaves. I was planning to buy a baguette, but they had batards with fermented butter and cheese sandwiched in them, so I ended up getting the fermented butter one. I usually like salted butter, but this one had unsalted butter in it, and it was delicious! I wonder where this butter is from. It's smooth and rich in milk flavor. The bread itself is well-balanced, with a strong wheat flavor, and I want to make it my everyday bread. The hard bread with cream cheese and plenty of black pepper was also delicious. The black pepper is clearly visible, but it's mild and well-balanced in flavor, making it a proper meal bread. They also sold half-cut square loaves, so I asked for a thin slice instead of the usual 3 slices. It cost 143 yen, and the price was reasonable. They told me it was still warm, so I should leave the bag open for a while, but it got a bit deformed because I carried it around for a while. The square loaf is also delicious! I really want to say, "This is how bread should be!" to the overly sweet "shokupan" (Japanese fluffy white bread) these days. Thank you for the right butter aroma and wheat flavor. I enjoyed the butter toast and cheese toast by spreading butter without toasting it and adding meat sauce without toasting it. I want to come back here again.

I visited this bakery as I had a good experience purchasing bread at their Yotsuya location. Even though the white shutters were down, the lights were on inside. The showcase was empty on a weekend afternoon, but I decided to make a purchase anyway. The photos of baguette sandwiches on the wall looked delicious. I rang the bell and the staff came out to assist. I bought the following items: Orange Bread for 280 yen and Milk Daifuku for 240 yen. I enjoyed them at home with sparkling wine. The Orange Bread was a new item with finely chopped peels in a crispy outside and moist inside. It might be too bitter for children. The Milk Daifuku had a "popular" tag and was a bread with mashed daifuku and milk cream filling. It was satisfying and delicious. I plan to visit the Shinjuku Gyoenmae location soon.

Finally got to visit this shop. I went there wanting to buy a bucket sandwich, but it was still too early for them to be ready, so I bought just the bucket and made the sandwich at home. I also bought a grape bread. It has been a while since I had such a delicious bucket. It was really tasty and fragrant! I had the one with prosciutto cream cheese and ambutter. It was crispy and delicious! The grape bread was also amazing, with the sweetness of the grapes and the fluffy bread dough. I want to go back to this shop again!

This is a bakery located at Higashi-Shinjuku Station on the Toei Oedo Line and Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line! At first glance, it looks like the entrance to an apartment building with automatic doors, and you might almost walk right past it. But this is actually the entrance to the shop. The interior is small, but surprisingly they have a wide variety of bread. However, it can be a bit difficult to choose when facing the counter and having to wait, so it's best to make a quick selection and enjoy it at home! Now, onto the taste...【Walnut Bread】This French bread is packed with walnuts, and it is quite delicious! What makes it tasty is the bread itself. The texture and flavor of the wheat are really enjoyable. I really like this French bread!【Honey Butter Sandwich】This sandwich has honey and butter inside, making the inside of the crispy bread moist. Although I knew this would happen, compared to the walnut bread, it was harder to taste the flavor of the bread itself.【Apple Pie】The pie crust is crispy and delicious! There are plenty of apples inside, giving it a satisfying bite. The bread itself at this shop is really delicious, so it's no wonder that sandwiches with ham and vegetables sell out quickly too.
