Visited around 2 pm on a weekday. There were two other groups of customers. I ordered a set meal that seemed to be Szechuan or Chongqing cuisine, with pickled cabbage and fish. It contained a lot of white fish, pickled vegetables, and enoki mushrooms, giving it a sour and slightly spicy flavor. It had a mild heat from chili peppers and cilantro as well. As a fan of hot and sour soup noodles and tom yum goong, this dish was perfect for me. I would definitely like to eat it again.

To find delicious food here, you need some tips. You won't be impressed by the typical Chinese dishes that come to mind for most Japanese people on the sign outside this restaurant. Take a close look at the menu - there are tasty dishes like duck blood, dried tofu, lamb, and fish. Recently, the paper menu has been replaced by a tablet menu, which is well-organized and makes it easier to understand the different types of unfamiliar dishes and estimate what they might taste like. The staff only speak basic Japanese, but they are very kind. There is a wide variety of alcohol available. Except during lunchtime, most of the customers are Chinese, so it might be a good idea to ask the staff about what dishes the Chinese customers are eating before ordering.

It's extremely cold! If I don't warm up, I'll die. Out of the 12 tables, 3 are filled with foreigners, mostly Chinese speakers. The other 3 tables are used by Japanese, with 75% being natives. I ordered the Eight Treasure Rice Plate for ¥680. The taste was excellent with native cabbage, bok choy, and about 10 other ingredients. The stir-fry was exquisite! The white part of the cabbage was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great! The portion was quite large, but I managed to finish it all. Thank you for the meal.

I was looking for a place to drink cheaply at night and stumbled upon a bustling restaurant. There were hardly any Japanese people, and the flavors were authentic. I ordered a white fish hot pot and coriander salad. The flavors were very complex, and the portions were huge! The salad was fresh and crunchy. I was very satisfied with both dishes. However, since there were only two of us, it would have been nice if there was a half-size option for the hot pot. The portions were so big that we could only finish two dishes, which was a shame. The menu had many unique items, and I would like to go back again.

11:30 - A slightly early lunch. I decided on a place nearby that was just visible. Inside the restaurant, everyone except me was speaking Chinese, I was the only Japanese person. I ordered the Sour Cabbage Pork Noodles for ¥780. The taste was authentic, the fermented pickled mustard greens were likely imported from the local area. I used to stay in Jinan, China for a long time, and the taste of the dishes I had back then came to mind. The sourness from the fermentation was incredibly delicious! From listening to the conversations around me, I heard a lot of dialects from the eastern regions such as Shanghai, Jinan, Qingdao, Shandong Province, and Jilin Province. It seemed like a community from a cold region, where many people spoke with a muffled voice without opening their mouths wide. I think it might be a community from the Kameido area. I will definitely come back.

Dan Dan noodles, extra spicy, 700 yen. The spiciness of the Dan Dan noodles can be chosen from large, medium, or small, so I ordered extra spicy. The whole Sichuan peppercorns were generously added, creating a numbing sensation that was delicious. The menu had two items priced at 850 yen and two items priced at 680 yen, but they seemed to overlap quite a bit, which was a bit confusing at first. Probably, they would make whatever you ask for. The casualness of the place seemed to allow for some interesting menu options. There were dishes like cumin stir-fried lamb or herbal stewed dishes, which I would like to try next time.

This is a Chinese restaurant in Kameido that serves slightly authentic Chinese cuisine. There are many Chinese customers, and they seem to specialize in Sichuan hot pot. I ordered a set meal on my first visit, which was safe but I think the real appeal of this restaurant lies in their other dishes. I would like to try those next time. The food was okay, but the almond jelly in the set meal was bad.

I visited a restaurant around 12 o'clock on a weekday and there were 2 groups of customers before me. Later, another group of 3 people arrived. The daily special was 550 yen, and it was a dish with pork and eggplant stir-fried in miso. The salad and soup were self-service. Even though the dish looked plain, it had a generous amount of eggplant, which is currently expensive. Considering the price, it was good. The taste was also good.

To Tenkafu in Kameido. I visited on Saturday at 12 o'clock and the restaurant, which had quite a few seats, was half full. I chose the tantanmen for 600 yen and added half a serving of fried rice for 150 yen. The tantanmen was a type without ground sesame seeds, with flavors of chili oil, doubanjiang, and umami. I chose the highest level of spiciness, but it wasn't too spicy. I added some extra spiciness from the condiments on the table, which made it just right. The half serving of fried rice was more generous than I expected. It had mixed vegetables, egg, a little bit of meat, and was lightly seasoned. Most of the customers were speaking Chinese.

After visiting Kameido Katori Shrine, I stopped by this Chinese izakaya for the first time. It was one of the several Chinese restaurants lined up along the way. The menu featured set meals and evening drink sets. It was around 5:30 PM on a Saturday, with families and solo diners as the only customers. There were also tables set up for large groups or banquet reservations. As soon as I sat down, a pitcher of water (about 1/3 full) was brought to the table, without any ice. I ordered the evening drink set for 980 yen, which included a drink (draft beer), an appetizer (Bang Bang Chicken), and a main dish (Chicken and Cashew Nut Stir-Fry). There was also a set meal for 600 yen, which included Stir-Fried Wood Ear Mushrooms and Pork with rice, soup, almond jelly, and pickled vegetables. The service at the Chinese restaurant was good, with the staff being friendly and efficient. Although the pronunciation of the vowels was a bit strong, they were quick to take orders and bring the check. The food was decent and tasty, although I wasn't a big fan of the sauce on the Bang Bang Chicken. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I would consider coming back if it were closer to my neighborhood.

Visited for Sunday lunch. There are set meals for 600 yen and 800 yen, ordered pork and wood ear mushroom stir-fry with egg and a draft beer. Served in 7-8 minutes, very quick. The draft beer (380 yen) feels a bit light, maybe it's a low-malt beer? As always, the portions for Chinese dishes are huge. Most of the customers are Chinese, and there is a lot of Chinese language being spoken (laughs). Once again, very satisfied with a full belly today (^-^)v

During my recent visit to a Chinese restaurant in Kameido, I was craving for a simple dish of "Nira Tamago" (Chinese chives and egg) without bean sprouts. However, they didn't have the dish on their menu, so I ended up ordering a stir-fried dish with wood ear mushrooms and eggs instead. The menu at the restaurant had set meals priced at 600 yen and 800 yen, with a lot of lamb dishes. Although they didn't have the dish I wanted, I enjoyed the stir-fried dish with wood ear mushrooms and eggs, which also included various vegetables and pork. The eggs were not runny, and the almond jelly dessert was firm, almost like agar. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 3.16 out of 5.

There are several similar restaurants in the neighborhood, but I decided to try this one. As indicated on the outdoor menu, the prices are very reasonable. The staff, dressed in Chinese attire, provide a high-class Chinese restaurant atmosphere at affordable prices. I thought it would be a good place for regular visits if you live nearby. The staff are Chinese and can communicate in Japanese, but they speak Chinese to each other. The Sichuan dishes such as Mapo Tofu and Mapo Eggplant were spicy. They may not look very spicy, but they have a sweet taste at first and then the spiciness kicks in after a few bites. We ordered a set for 3 people at 550 yen each x 6, which included: - Sweet and Sour Pork with Egg and Tomato Stir-Fry - Mapo Eggplant (no photo) - Shrimp with Egg (no photo) - Mapo Tofu (no photo) - Mixed Vegetables with Sauce (no photo) Each dish came with a drink, but I can't remember what we ordered. We also added: - Highball with Coke for 300 yen - Grapefruit Sour for 300 yen We also ordered beer as part of the set. The drinks are already cheap, but considering the price of the food, the set was quite a deal. The set includes one dish and one drink for 550 yen. Even though we ordered a bit too much, it only came to 1320 yen per person, and we even got change back! They also offer set meals for 600 yen, so it's a great place for a meal without alcohol. There are groups of people in the front seats who go outside every 10 minutes to smoke and talk on the street. It seems like they spend more time outside. The taste is average. The evening drink set doesn't seem to offer good value for money. In other seats, there were a lot of hot pots, so maybe the selling point is not just one dish.

It's always delicious whenever you eat it! The price is also very cheap, so I highly recommend it.

I have ordered delivery once and it was delicious, so I decided to come to the restaurant directly. It was cheaper than delivery and the portion seemed larger. I will come again!
