I went to the gelato and chocolate specialty shop "Atesway Glass E Chocolat" located next to the famous sweets shop Atesway, which is located between Nishi-Ogikubo and Kichijoji. They offer over 10 flavors of gelato. I ordered a double size with Glass Chocolat and Sorbet A La Peche et Litchi. When you order a double, you get a macaron as well. The gelato looked even more luxurious than I expected. The Glass Chocolat is a rich and delicious gelato with a strong chocolate bitterness. The peach and lychee sorbet has a refreshing taste with the sweetness and acidity of the peach and lychee. Enjoying the rich chocolate gelato and the refreshing fruit gelato together was delicious. The blackcurrant macaron and chocolate drizzled macaron served as a nice palate cleanser after the gelato. Gelato from a shop known for their delicious sweets is truly delicious!

Arrived at around 11 am on Wednesday morning, and was able to enter smoothly as it seemed to be already open. There were no other customers. After much deliberation over the delicious-looking options, I decided on the Lychee and White Peach Sorbet, which was priced at 540 yen. There was a trash can outside, so I enjoyed my treat in a corner nearby. It was sweet, cold, and incredibly delicious! This is so good! Although it's a bit far from Nishi-Ogikubo Station in terms of distance, since it's so tasty, I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

Next to the famous sweets shop Atelier Atesuwayi, there is an ice cream and sorbet shop. I love fruit-based gelato and sorbet, and I was pleasantly surprised by their new product, the "Kyoho Grape Sorbet". The double order includes the Kyoho Grape Sorbet and the Glass au Chocolat Framboise, while the single order includes the Sorbet a la Banane Fruit de la Passion. The Kyoho Grape Sorbet is amazing, with a direct and authentic taste of Kyoho grapes, using not only the pulp but also the skin as ingredients. It was truly delicious! The Glass au Chocolat Framboise is a rich and elegant chocolate ice cream made with Vietnamese chocolate, perfectly balanced in sweetness and bitterness, paired with raspberry for a classic combination. The Sorbet a la Banane Fruit de la Passion is a tropical sorbet made with pineapple and passion fruit, offering a refreshing and tangy taste. I used to think that Gelateria Cinque Terre in Asagaya was the best, but this place is just as delicious. Just like Atelier Atesuwayi, photography inside the shop is prohibited.

I enjoyed visiting the top 100 ice cream and gelato shops. I have purchased cakes and baked goods from Atelier Atesuway before and knew they were delicious, so I was looking forward to trying their gelato! It was 3:00 pm on a holiday, and luckily the parking lot was empty, so I was able to enter the shop without waiting. There was no seating inside, so I enjoyed my gelato outside. I ordered a double cup for 900 yen, which included a glass of Peach Lavender Honey and a glass of Chocolate. I also ordered a double cone for 900 yen, which included a glass of Lightly Roasted Coffee. The vanilla cup came with a pink meringue stick and a chocolate-covered meringue, making it look fancy and cute! The cone was coated with chocolate inside, making it delicious until the last bite! The peach ice cream had a rich lavender flavor with a hint of honey, rather than the peach being dominant. It was unique and enjoyable. The chocolate gelato was smooth and rich, not overly sweet, and remained delicious until the end. The Lightly Roasted Coffee gelato had a slight acidity that balanced well with the sweetness, making it delicious. The Mexican vanilla had plenty of vanilla beans, giving it a rich flavor with a refreshing aftertaste. The variety of unique flavors and high-quality ingredients made the gelato worth the price. It truly tasted like high-end gelato made by a luxury cake and baked goods shop.

Good evening. I am a beauty acupuncture therapist, Kozue. The other day, before buying a cake at Atesway, I stopped by Atesway Glass Eshokora, which was selected as one of the top 100 gelato shops. The shop is located inside a building next to Atesway. The interior of the shop has a chic atmosphere, and the menu is lined with difficult names. The gelato is served in a silver tube-like container with a lid, so it's hard to imagine what it looks like. This time, I ordered milk chocolate and coconut ice cream with a lime flavor. For takeout, the gelato is prepared in a cup, but if you want to eat it right away, you can choose between a cone and a cup. This time, I chose a cup. The chocolate flavor was quite strong, with a subtle sweetness, and a unique taste with a lime flavor in the aftertaste. The appearance was also cute, and as expected, it had a design element that is characteristic of Atesway. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Next to the patisserie "Atesuwei", there is a chocolate and gelato shop that is not as crowded. The shop has a simple interior with covered gelato flavors, making it hard for customers to choose. The staff recommended a chocolate sorbet, which turned out to be rich and creamy chocolate ice cream with meringue toppings. It was delicious but a bit heavy. The shop also offered a variety of flavors, but without visual aids, it was hard to get excited about them. The shop had a nice lighting and design in the eating area. Overall, the chocolate shop had good service and tasty chocolate ice cream.

From Nishi-Ogikubo, it's a 10-minute walk to a place that's famous for their chocolates. They have both regular chocolate and chocolate mint flavors for 500 yen each! Both come in a cone with the inside coated in chocolate. If they're the same price, I'd go for the cone, right? Haha. They're just so delicious and make me so happy.

Visited solo on a day off. Located a 14-15 minute walk from Nishi-Ogikubo Station North Exit, near Tokyo Women's University, this ice cream specialty shop is run by the renowned neighboring shop, Atesway. Winner of the '23 Ice Cream Gelato Top 100 award.
On a certain Saturday, I arrived around 1 pm, drenched in sweat from the scorching heat. There were no other customers inside. The ice cream display case on the left was covered, making it impossible to see the colors or shapes of the flavors. I had to rely on reviews and the menu alone to decide on a flavor.
There were 15 flavors available that day. I decided to go for a combination of a basic ice cream and a sorbet, ordering a double scoop of Sorbet Chocolat and Glass A La Vanille in a cup. Since there was no indoor seating, I enjoyed my ice cream outside the shop.
The Sorbet Chocolat, with a pop label describing it as "70% cacao, Chocolat sorbet," was a unique sherbet-type chocolate ice cream. Its crunchy texture and rich bitter flavor were perfect for the hot summer day. The Glass A La Vanille, with a pop label describing it as "Mexican vanilla ice cream," was a rich and creamy milk ice cream with plenty of vanilla beans. Who doesn't like this?
It was so hot outside that the ice cream melted quickly, but I managed to finish both expensive ice creams, totaling almost 1000 yen, in a battle against time. I look forward to coming back when the weather is cooler to savor the flavors slowly. Thank you for the treat. I will visit again.

This is a store next to the famous sweets shop Atsuwayi, known for their ice cream and chocolates. They charge a high price of 900 yen for 2 scoops, but the ice cream is served in metal containers, making it hard to choose based on appearance. I chose vanilla and peach flavors. The peach flavor had a strong lavender scent. The waffle cone was coated with chocolate, but I'm not sure if that was necessary. I think Coconut Glen's ice cream might be better. Ice cream can be tricky.

Located a 12-minute walk from Nishi-Ogikubo Station, I visited "Atesway Glass et Chocolat," which was selected as one of the top 100 ice cream and gelato shops today. It is a gelato and chocolate specialty shop located next to the popular sweets shop "Atesway." I arrived shortly after the store opened on Saturday and there was no wait. I was able to pay smoothly. I ordered a double serving of "Glass a la Peche et Miel de Lavande" (peach ice cream with lavender honey) and "Glass au Chocolat." It cost 972 yen. The order was served promptly. I thought it was a bit expensive, but the quantity was definitely a double serving and it was decorated with meringue cookies, so I was satisfied. The peach ice cream had an excellent flavor! The aroma of peaches and lavender blended beautifully. The chocolate was incredibly rich. It was delicious and exactly to my taste. I enjoyed it until the very end.

Before buying a cake, I also stopped by here. When you place an order, they coat the inside of the cone with chocolate. The chocolate ice cream is rich, with the raspberry acidity adding a nice touch. The rich scent of white peach and the acidity of lychee paired perfectly. It cost 540 yen including tax.

I visited "Atesway Glass Eshokora" located in Musashino City, Tokyo. It's a bit of a walk from JR Kichijoji station, about 2 minutes on foot from the bus stop "Tokyo Joshi Daigaku Mae". The shop has won awards such as The Tabelog Award Bronze and the Top 100 Sweets in Tokyo on Tabelog for their chocolate. The interior is modern with a showcase of colorful chocolates and gelato. I chose the "Vanilla Chocolate" gelato, which was topped with meringue. The vanilla flavor was aromatic but slightly sweet. When paired with the pink meringue, the raspberry acidity made it delicious. The "Chocolate" gelato had a rich flavor with a lingering aftertaste. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

The second stop is here. We walked quite a bit. Before the lunchtime restaurant we were aiming for opened, we decided to stop by "Atesuei" shop. "Atesuei is close by, and since it's before opening time, maybe I can finally try the Mont Blanc?" my daughter said. "Let's go check it out." Atesuei opens at 11 am, but we arrived at 10:40 am. There were about 10 people waiting. After a 20-minute wait, by the time they opened, there were nearly 30 people waiting. When we entered the shop, there seemed to be no Mont Blanc available. We asked the staff at the entrance, and they said they weren't making it at the moment. My daughter and I agreed, "Let's go back." We left without buying anything. But as we were leaving the shop, we noticed an ice cream shop next door. So, we decided to stop by there. We each chose a double scoop. My daughter chose chocolate, and I chose lavender-scented peach ice cream. My daughter had a bit of peach and chocolate, then handed it over to me almost as a double scoop. I should have just ordered a single scoop. When we tried it, the lavender peach flavor didn't come through much, and once in the realm of chocolate, it was all about the chocolate, hardly sensing the peach at all. The chocolate ice cream was delicious. I should have thought more about the flavor combination when ordering.

The highly acclaimed patisserie Atesway, owned by the renowned pastry chef Hideki Kawamura, is located next to the chocolate shop where you can find exquisite gelato. The interior of the shop does not allow photography. Some recommended items include the Chocolate Oreo Milk Gelato with Coconut and Lime flavor, as well as the Sorbet with White Peach and Lychee flavors. Both are rich and exceptional. The shop offers unique presentation with decorations like meringue on cups. Hideki Kawamura, the owner and chef, has won numerous awards in competitions and trained at Tokyo Prince Hotel before opening his own shop in 2007. The name "Atesway" means "may your wishes come true" in French and is a phrase often said when someone sneezes. Many people can be seen enjoying their treats in between waiting in line at Atesway.

Next to the cake shop. I always stop by with cake. Today was quite hot and I felt like having some ice cream. The chocolate on the cone is delicious. When you get it in a cup, it comes with meringue cookies, but I prefer the cone which is twice as delicious. They also sell baked goods here, and sometimes they have things that you can only find here, so it's worth checking it out. Thank you for the treat. It was delicious.

I visited the shop next to Atsuwaya main store. Piano music was playing inside the shop. I had "Vanille" which had strawberry meringue on top. The vanilla was thick and you could see the vanilla bean seeds. It was a refreshing treat on a hot day.

Located in Nishi-Ogikubo, this gelato shop is known for serving gelato made by the famous Western confectionery shop Atsuwayi, as well as specializing in chocolate. It is situated next to Atsuwayi in a separate building. I visited on a weekday afternoon, and despite the less-than-perfect weather, I was able to enter and make a purchase without any hassle. On this day, I ordered a double scoop of cherry ice cream and Shinshu apple gelato. To my surprise, the gelato was served in a cup with meringue cookies on top, drizzled with chocolate - a unique touch that sets this shop apart from others. The meringue cookies came in two varieties: traditional and a more fruity, tangy option, both of which were delicious on their own. The gelato itself was rich yet refreshing, showcasing the high quality one would expect from a popular confectionery shop like Atsuwayi.

When you choose a cup, you get some sweets on top. The cone has delicious chocolate spread inside. Both are delightful. There are also seasonal flavors, like fruity and sherbet. I prefer rich and creamy gelato, so I always go for that.

This is a shop that I was checking out, which is a gelateria and chocolatier run by Atelier, a representative patisserie in Japan. The shop is located next to Atelier, which was crowded, but this one was empty. There is no seating inside the shop, so you have to eat around the area. I chose a double cup with the flavors of chocolate raspberry and vanilla.
<Chocolate Raspberry>
At the beginning, you can taste the rich cocoa flavor, followed by the refreshing acidity of the raspberry. The change in flavor is fantastic!
<Vanilla>
This is your typical vanilla flavor. It is quite sweet, but it has a good sweetness without being too heavy. It is quite rich, but the aftertaste is refreshing, which is nice.
[Summary]
It is a high-quality gelato, but it is a bit disappointing that it was slightly firm and lacked a creamy texture. It tasted more like ice cream than gelato. It seems that being a famous patisserie does not necessarily mean being a famous gelateria.

Sorbet Pineapple Passion ¥540
This ice cream shop from the famous patisserie Atsuway offers a sorbet made with pineapple and passion fruit. It is incredibly juicy and rich, with a refreshing flavor that spreads throughout. The passion fruit seeds add a nice touch. On top, there is a meringue cookie with chocolate, which is also delicious. You can tell that the quality of the chocolate is high. Although photography inside the shop is prohibited, they allowed me to take a picture of the sign. I think it's good when shops enforce their rules. If there is no description on the receipt, you might forget what you ate. This juicy gelato on a hot day was the best. Thank you for the meal.
