When I returned to Tokyo Station on the Shinkansen, I couldn't resist trying the Kobe beef meat pie from Yuhaimu that they sell in Gransta underground. I thought one wouldn't be enough, so I got two to take away. The instructions said it's best to bake them in a toaster, so as soon as I got home, I tried baking them. The result was a crispy pastry with plenty of meat and roughly chopped boiled eggs inside. The flavor was simple and not overpowering as I had imagined, which left me slightly wanting more. It was delicious nonetheless. Next time, I want to try the apple pie!

During our Shinkansen ride to Kyoto, my wife and I shared a lemon pie that we took out from here for lunch. The standout feature was the texture - it was crispy and very good! My wife really liked it too, and she said we should have bought another one! Thank you for the meal!

At Tokyo Station's Gransta, I picked up a Kobe beef meat pie as a travel snack. It would have been nice if it was warm, but I just ate it as is. I wasn't sure of the shop's name at first, but it turned out to be the same as it appeared, which was a bit surprising.

In Tokyo, after buying bento boxes at "Asakusa Imahan Gransta Store", I decided to do a little more shopping. I felt like having something Western after having "Daifuku" and a beef bento. While wandering around Gransta, I found a classic Western option, "Meat Pie" and "Apple Pie", and couldn't resist buying them. I visited this shop on a weekday around noon. The shop is located on B1F of Gransta, a bit hidden so it might be hard to find. I ordered "Meat Pie @410" and "Apple Pie @356" from the friendly staff, paid, and headed to my next stop. Back home, I took photos and had them for dinner. The "Meat Pie" had layers of flaky pastry with a buttery aroma and juicy minced beef inside. The "Apple Pie" had a crispy pastry with plenty of apples and sweetness. Overall, a popular shop with delicious pies. Thank you for the meal. Rated 3.49 on Tabelog in May 2023.

Visited the meat pie specialty shop "Kobe Beef Meat Pie" at Grandsta. It is managed by the well-known Western confectionery shop in Kobe, "Youheim". The Kobe beef meat pie (¥410) is filled with minced beef and chopped boiled eggs, which is a unique feature. The meatiness is not too strong. The pie crust is quite delicious, with a chewy texture that is tasty all the way to the crust.

I visited Kobe Beef Meat Pie Grandsta Store in the evening on a weekday. Located inside Tokyo Station, there is a demand for souvenirs. Customers kept coming one after another. This time, I had the following:
- Kobe beef meat pie 410 yen
The juicy Kobe beef is delicious. The pie crust is crispy, flaky, with a fragrant and buttery taste.
- Hokkaido cheese and Iwate beef meat pie (Grandsta exclusive) 378 yen
The mellow taste of cheese and Iwate beef matched well in this meat pie. The cheese seemed to be more prominent than the beef. The pie crust, similar to the Kobe beef meat pie, was crispy, flaky, and delicious! I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal (^ . ^)

I stopped by on my way home from work. It's a meat pie shop operated by Yuheim, located in Tokyo Station Gransta. The shop caught my eye as I was feeling a bit hungry after work, with "Kobe beef" and "meat pie" looking incredibly delicious. The shop has a showcase with meat pies on one side and chestnut pies on the other, attracting business people buying dinner or souvenirs for home. Around 6 p.m., there were about 3 people in line. Despite having plenty of stock left, I bought meat pies for my family and tried them the next morning. After a day, the softened pie crisped up nicely in the toaster. Although I had set my expectations high with the mention of Kobe beef, I unfortunately couldn't taste the sweetness or tenderness characteristic of Kobe beef, perhaps because I don't eat Kobe beef regularly. The meat's crumbly texture was a bit off-putting. The seasoning was not bad. Thank you for the meal.

The fourth stop on the Tokyo Station bakery tour is Kobe Beef Meat Pie at Gransta store. Although some may argue that pies are not technically bread, I included it because it falls under the category of bread on Tabelog. I purchased the limited edition Hokkaido cheese and Iwate beef meat pies. They were delicious even though they had cooled down by the time I ate them. The crust was a bit thick, but overall it was a tasty experience. Thank you for the meal.

I finally had the chance to visit a restaurant I've been curious about for a while. I usually use Tokyo Station for transfers, but I never had the time to explore the shops inside the station. This time, I finally made it. I ordered Kobe beef meat pie, Kobe beef curry pie, and apple pie made with red apples. They can be eaten at room temperature, but I had them warmed up. The meat pie had a delicious filling with a great meaty flavor. The curry pie had a nice balance of pastry and curry. The apple pie was not too sweet and very tasty. I would like to buy them again next time.

A take-out specialty pie shop located inside Gransta at Tokyo Station. The signature menu item is the Kobe beef meat pie, with other options like cheese pie, potato pie, and apple pie. I ordered the Kobe beef meat pie for 410 yen. The pie crust is quite thick and has a crispy texture. The filling has a rich flavor of minced meat and butter. However, due to the richness of the crust, it felt a bit heavy.

At the Gransta Tokyo, there is a Kobe beef meat pie store. However, the highlight is not the meat pie but the apple pie. They also sell a sweet potato pie made with Anno sweet potatoes. The apple pie made with Red Delicious apples costs 356 yen. It is filled with plenty of apple compote and has a crispy crust. It was delicious!

This shop is located in the basement of Gransta at Tokyo Station, and it specializes in Kobe beef meat pies. I have bought from their other branches before, and the Kobe beef meat pies are reasonably priced for Kobe beef. The shop also offers pies made with different types of beef and sweet pies, but the selection is quite limited. This time, I bought Kobe beef meat pies as souvenirs for my family. They cost around 400 yen each. The size is similar to a convenience store meat bun. The pastry has a rich buttery flavor and is flaky and soft. The filling, however, was a bit disappointing as there wasn't much meat. It had a gravy-like sauce with a Western-style seasoning, kind of like minced meat. There was something white in it, maybe egg white? Although the filling was lacking, the taste was quite good. Honestly, once the meat is so processed, it's hard to tell the difference between Kobe beef and regular meat. But as a souvenir, being able to enjoy Kobe beef easily is nice. Meat pies are usually expensive, so getting Kobe beef at this price makes it a good souvenir option.

I was concerned because the shop at Chiba Station that I was interested in was gone, so I ended up getting takeout at Gransta in Tokyo Station after work. After much deliberation among the 5 options, I chose the classic Kobe beef meat pie and the red apple pie! I was fully aware of the guilt of eating pie at night, but I succumbed to temptation and enjoyed it with wine. The pies, toasted to a crisp, were flaky and the scent of butter was irresistible. The meat pie, with simple seasoning that didn't require sauce, had a rich meaty flavor and the texture of chopped boiled eggs added an interesting touch. The apple pie, with a beautifully intricate lattice and a generous filling of large chunks of apples, was satisfyingly substantial. Next time, I'm definitely getting the sweet potato pie for dessert, but I'm already torn between the curry pie and the cheese meat pie for the other choice.

When arriving at Tokyo Station, I always make sure to stop by this shop. As a fan of meat pies and apple pies, I usually buy one of them when riding the Shinkansen. However, on this day, there was a limited edition curry pie available. The flaky texture of the pie, the aroma of butter, and the meaty taste of the pie with a hint of curry flavor really whet my appetite. It's like a keema curry with this curry-flavored minced meat. Whoever came up with this idea is brilliant. This would go perfectly with a beer. If it's non-alcoholic, I'd want to have some milk instead!

Kobe beef meat pie for 410 yen is a guaranteed delicious taste. It truly feels like a meat pie. I would be interested in trying a meat pie that is actually bad, if such a thing exists. The price is reasonable so I only got one, but I would love to eat more if allowed. I wouldn't complain if my entire salary this month was paid in meat pies.

I bought the meat pie that I liked from Gransta before as a takeout, and it still had a good texture and taste. However, I felt like the flavor of the filling was a bit off this time.

Gransta wandering record. I love the meat pie at Maihama theme park, and I had high expectations because it's the same as the UHAIM meat pie. It was small and luxurious at 420 yen, but the flavor of the egg and Kobe beef was condensed. It was very delicious, but in terms of satisfaction, Delica Pan might be better...? As a foodie, I would like to eat two more. lol

After having a casual lunch, I purchased a lemon pie here for my work-from-home shift. It was not too sweet and quite good. I wonder if beer would go well with this meat pie? Just some random thoughts, but overall it was quite enjoyable.

On rainy days, I always head to Tokyo Station. After work, I went to Gransta to buy some snacks for the office. Today, I didn't eat much in the morning, so I felt like I needed some sugar to get my brain working, so I quickly grabbed a meat pie. I like the ones with Hokkaido cheese and Iwate beef. Gransta has plenty of seats, which I love. They constantly play videos of scenery from all over Japan, so you can just relax and zone out forever. Compared to a regular meat pie, this one has less of a meaty taste probably because of the cheese. The thick pastry is super buttery and rich. If it had been served hot, the cheese would have melted and mixed well with the meat. This is definitely a meat pie that should be reheated in a toaster at home.

As someone who loves pastry dough, I was very drawn to the name. I had it as a takeout for lunch and even though it was cold, it still had a nice crispy texture. It tasted good on its own, but I found it even more delicious when dipped in ketchup and mustard. If it had a bit more flavor on its own, I would have rated it higher. The size was just right, and the pastry dough didn't crumble too much, so I felt like I could enjoy it comfortably even at work. I'm glad I got to try it out.
