French Noodle Factory @ Korakuen Sesame Ramen [¥1480] ■ Visit Date: Tuesday, April 18, 2023, 20:06~ ■ Nearest Station: Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line Korakuen Station ■ Business Hours: 10:00-22:30 ■ Regular Holiday: None This time, I visited French Noodle Factory, which opened on April 15, 2023. Many of you may be familiar with it as it is the sister store of the famous Ebi Maru Ramen in Jimbocho. The nearest station is Korakuen Station, where Tokyo Dome is located. It is located on the 1st floor of LACUA in DERI & DISH. The theme of this restaurant is a fusion of French and ramen, based on lobster. In addition to the original Ebi Maru Lobster Ramen, there are also menu items that can only be enjoyed at this store. Ebi Maru in Jimbocho is a highly recommended restaurant, but personally, I found it a bit intimidating to casually walk in, so I hesitated to go. However, this place has a very welcoming atmosphere and is easy to enter. There were many female customers, giving it a slightly out-of-place feeling, reminding me of the first time I went to Menchanko San Francisco in Shinjuku. Can anyone relate? This time, I visited in the evening and arrived after 20:00. I was able to enter smoothly without waiting in line. The interior is quite spacious with counter seats and table seats, and there were nearly 10 staff members. Everyone was very polite and the service was excellent. There is no ticket machine, so you order by looking at the menu and telling the staff. Payment is made after eating by taking the plate number given to you to the register. Among the many menu items, this time I chose the Sesame Ramen, which is an Asian-style ramen with lobster broth, blended sesame, and chili oil. The lobster flavor is overwhelming, more than the sesame and chili oil. If you like rich lobster ramen, you should definitely try it at least once. It's great that they are open late into the night. As expected, it was really delicious. ※ This is just my personal opinion. #FrenchNoodleFactory #frenchnoodlefactory #SesameRamen #EbiMaruRamen #KorakuenGourmet #TokyoDome #LACUA #Ramen #ramen #noodlestagram #RamenTour #WantToConnectWithRamenLovers

I heard about the sister restaurant of "Ebi Maru Ramen" and decided to visit around 11:45 on a weekday. The seats were starting to fill up but there were still some available. I ordered the "Original Lobster Deluxe" for ¥1890. The ramen arrived in about 5 minutes. It came with komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), rare chashu (pork), mini tomatoes, a baguette with sour cream, and deluxe toppings like seasoned egg and ravioli. They suggested trying the sour cream for a different flavor. The soup was rich and flavorful with the essence of lobster, almost like a French lobster bisque (though I haven't had lobster that often). There were small diced purple onions in one corner of the soup, adding a nice touch of flavor. The noodles were medium-thick and chewy, perfect for soaking up the rich soup. The rare chashu was like a tender ham and very delicious. I noticed the person next to me had a risotto dish brought to them, and the server added soup and shaved cheese on top. It looked so tasty! (*´艸`*)

I saw on Twitter that the chilled tantanmen with beef, which I had been curious about, was ending on Saturday, so I hurried to visit the restaurant. I wish they had announced it a week earlier... I also ordered the assorted appetizers, including carrot rapé, marinated shrimp, and liver paste. They were delicious, but I don't think I need them again. Even though it says it changes daily, the content was exactly as shown in the menu image. Are they changing the image every day? Then, the chilled tantanmen arrived while I had barely touched the appetizers. The service was fast, but I wish they had checked on my progress a bit more... The soup was not memorable at all, despite being easy to eat. I wanted more emphasis on the sesame flavor, spiciness, beef flavor, or some other element. It felt like the taste was not necessary... Also, the noodles were firm medium-thick noodles, but wouldn't thinner noodles be better with this bland soup? Maybe I should visit the main branch after all.

Around 17:15, the restaurant was relatively empty and we were able to enter without waiting in line, with two adults and two children. We ordered curry ramen with flavored egg topping. The appearance was beautiful and the first few bites were very delicious. However, as we continued eating, it became a bit monotonous. There were many families with children, which made it easy for us to bring our kids along. Thank you for the meal.

Ebi Maru is delicious, but it's so popular that there's always a long line. So, I decided to try the second branch that serves the same ramen under a different name. It was located in a space similar to a department store basement on the first floor of LaQua, so I thought it might be a scaled-down version of the main store. However, I was surprised to find out that the master chef from Ebi Maru was actually cooking there. I overheard a conversation between regular customers saying, "They serve the same ramen here too," and "I come here about once a week. I thought it would be crowded today because there's a live concert at the dome." Luckily, the taste was just as good as the main store, and I was satisfied. I ordered the carbonara, which was the most delicious among all the dishes I've tried at Ebi Maru. However, I felt a bit heavy after eating. Maybe it's because I'm getting older?

Tomato cream ramen (¥1580) at Ebi Maru Ramen was delicious! I ordered it without green onions and it was amazing! I used to love their Ebi Maru Carbonara, but this one surpassed it! The carbonara was also one of my favorites, but compared to this, it felt a bit heavy. The tomato cream ramen is just perfect for me.

I had never been to Ebimaru Ramen before, so it was my first time trying their Lobster Ramen. I chose the Truffle Ramen set, which came with Sparkling Wine and Risotto. It was quite expensive, but the soup was rich and the Risotto was topped with plenty of freshly shaved cheese. It was very delicious, so I would like to try the regular Ebimaru Ramen next time.

I have never visited the main store's Ebi Maru Ramen before, and this time was my first attempt at the Omar shrimp soup ramen. I visited around 1 pm on a Sunday in August, and there was no wait to get in, but the restaurant was just about full. Since it was summer vacation time, you could hear children's voices both inside and outside the restaurant. As it was my first visit, I ordered the "recommended original set 1580 yen + tax". It includes the original Omar shrimp ramen and a risotto made with the remaining soup. The ramen, served in about 5 minutes, looked beautiful with green vegetables, chashu, mini tomatoes, and a baguette with sour cream. The sour cream can also be used for flavor variation. I took a sip of the soup first. The rich flavor of the Omar shrimp was delicious! It truly felt like a French noodle dish... I was convinced. The chewy noodles were well coated with the soup. The soft chashu, which I would almost call ham, is made from Hida pork cooked at low temperatures, and it goes well with the soup. When you dissolve the sour cream, the soup becomes refreshing, which is also good. Just as I finished the ramen, the staff brought over the risotto dish. It contained rice, egg yolk, and shrimp in a hot bowl, and then the remaining soup (about 6 cups) was added. Finally, the staff generously shaved cheese on top. The cheese-filled risotto doubled the richness! I was so full and the food was so delicious that I ended up drinking all the soup. There were also several women dining alone. I was quite full, so maybe next time I can go without the risotto. Thank you for the meal.

This is my second visit. It was relatively empty on a weekday night and we were seated right away. I ordered the original Omurice Ramen again. The soup has a rich flavor with plenty of shrimp broth. There was sour cream on top of the bread, and as it melted, it added a different taste to enjoy. It's a very delicious ramen.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while, so I decided to visit. There were many menu options, but I chose the original lobster ramen and risotto set. The salad was beautifully presented and tasted great. The lobster ramen was elegantly arranged, with cream cheese on a baguette for added flavor. I personally enjoy garnishes, so the onions were a nice touch. Even though I was already full, I couldn't resist trying the risotto with lobster soup. Topped with plenty of cheese, it was just right after mixing it well. It would go well with champagne for a refreshing combination. If I have the chance, I would love to try it with champagne next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Visited the ramen restaurant LaQua DELI&DISH at Tokyo Dome LaQua along the Kasuga Uchikawa Ishikawa Line on August 8, 2023. This restaurant opened four months ago in April 2023. They have two sister stores, Ebimaru Ramen which opened in September 2017 and French Noodle Factory which opened in April 2023. As of May 2023, they have 13 remaining stores after closing one recently. The interior of the restaurant has a casual atmosphere with white and wood tones. There are 25 seats in total, with table seating near the entrance and counter seating at the back. When I visited at 11:25 am, there were only 3 other customers, so I was allowed to use a table for 4 people. More customers gradually arrived, and about 80% of the seats were filled. The customer base was mostly women (80%) and men (20%). The service was handled proficiently by a female staff member. The menu includes lunch sets such as Set A for 1518 yen (tax included) which includes a drink, ramen, and risotto. I ordered Set A which consisted of iced coffee, original lobster ramen, and risotto. The food was served promptly, with the drink arriving within 3 minutes, the ramen within 12 minutes, and the risotto at 11:40 am. The ramen was made with 100% lobster soup and topped with premium pork chashu, baguette, sour cream, and cherry tomatoes. The noodles were different from the main store, being normal thickness instead of thick and chewy. The soup also lacked the intense flavor of the main store. The risotto was served in a hot iron pot with lobster and cheese. Pouring the rich lobster soup over the risotto created a delicious combination. The restaurant has a casual and spacious atmosphere, different from the main store. The menu and prices are slightly different, with the main store's original Ebimaru Ramen priced at 1298 yen (tax included) and the branch's original lobster ramen priced at 1290 yen (tax included). The names and prices are subtly different, with "Ebimaru" changed to "Lobster". They also offer lunch sets with smaller portions of noodles and a drink. The taste is different as well, with the main store being significantly more delicious. The A set for 1518 yen includes a drink, original lobster ramen, and risotto. While tasty, the Lobster Ebimaru Ramen's Lobster Recommended Set for 1837 yen that I had last week was much more delicious.

French Noodle Factory Tokyo Dome LaQua Store Chilled Clam Chowder Ramen 1380 yen Tomato Risotto with Clams 580 yen Korakuen, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo This new store opened in April 2023 at Tokyo Dome LaQua, with the theme of combining French and ramen. It is a sister store to "Ebi Maru Ramen" in Jinbocho. They are open all day, every day, so it is very convenient to visit. You can get in without having to wait in line like at Ebi Maru. The visuals are beautiful, with chrysanthemum representing yellow and watermelon representing red. The creamy soup made from clam broth has a strong, refreshing taste, and the chilled noodles go perfectly with it. There are plenty of clams in it, and the refreshing sweetness of the watermelon makes it even fresher. It is surprisingly delicious and goes really well together. For dessert, try the Clam and Tomato Risotto. It is a bit pricey for a ramen shop's dessert, but it comes with plenty of char siu and the amount of cheese shaved by the staff is impressive. It is a satisfying dish that is definitely worth it, and it was delicious twice. They also have limited-time menu items that change regularly, and it's not too crowded, so it's a great place to visit. Thank you for the meal. I had some errands to run in Korakuen, and it was lunchtime, so I decided to have lunch at the "French Noodle Factory" that I had visited before. When I arrived at the restaurant at 11:58, there was no line, so I went inside. The restaurant was quite crowded with customers. I found an available seat at the counter and ordered the lunch set "Set A (your choice of noodles, risotto made with the leftover soup, your choice of drink) for 1,518 yen. I ordered the "Spicy Curry with Lobster" noodles and an iced coffee. The iced coffee arrived at 12:00, and I sipped on it while waiting. At 12:05, the Spicy Curry with Lobster noodles arrived. The portion was smaller than usual, with ingredients like baguette, slow-cooked pork shoulder chashu, cherry tomatoes, spinach, and chopped red onions. The rich lobster and curry flavors matched well, and the noodles were a good match for the soup. The slow-cooked pork shoulder chashu was tender and flavorful, and the cherry tomatoes, spinach, and chopped onions added a nice touch. The baguette soaked up the soup and was delicious. After finishing the noodles, I asked for the recommended set, and at 12:09, a cast-iron risotto container with rice, shrimp, raw egg, and green onions arrived. I poured in four cups of soup, and the staff sprinkled cheese on top. After mixing well with black pepper, the hot risotto was a perfect match with the soup. I finished both the noodles and the risotto. Thank you for the delicious meal today.

French noodle factory @ Korakuen "Limited Cold Caprese Ramen" My daughter requested to go to this shop, which is known for its Ebi Maru Ramen... I chose the limited ramen, while my daughter went for the "Omaru Ebi Tomato Cream Ramen". The limited ramen features cold tomato soup with wavy medium noodles, mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, basil, arugula, and plenty of prosciutto on top. It looks amazing. It's like Italian ramen made by a French chef. It was a refreshing and hearty bowl for the summer. French Noodle Factory is a ramen restaurant located in Tokyo Dome City LaQua. It opened in April 2023 and aims to establish a new genre of food by combining ramen with French cuisine. The chef, Masashi Nagasaka, who has a French background and extensive overseas experience, uses special ingredients like lobster to create unique ramen dishes. The menu includes dishes like Original Lobster Ramen, Carbonara Ramen, Coconut Ramen, Niçoise Salad Noodles, Genovese Salad Noodles, as well as appetizers like quiche and uffmayo. The reviewer tried the limited edition Chilled Clam Chowder Ramen and Clam Tomato Risotto in July. The Clam Chowder Ramen features clams, slow-cooked roast pork, baguette, watermelon, red onions, semi-dried tomatoes, and greens with a creamy clam soup base and firm noodles. The Clam Tomato Risotto is served in an iron pot with rice, cherry tomatoes, chashu, and a soft-boiled egg yolk, topped with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. The reviewer enjoyed the unique and delicious flavors of both dishes and recommends visiting the restaurant, noting that it can get crowded during lunch hours. The reviewer looks forward to trying the August menu.

Today, I had some free time in the morning, so I visited Ishigami Park, Shin-Egota, Jinbocho, and then moved to Korakuen. For the fourth stop, I finally went to "French Noodle Factory," a popular ramen shop that opened in April 2023 and is the sister store of "Ebi Maru Ramen," known for its omal shrimp in Jinbocho. I had been curious about this place since it opened, but I hadn't actively made time to visit because it's located in a commercial facility. However, today everything worked out well, and I was also interested in a limited-time cold menu, so I went with high expectations! The "French Noodle Factory" is located inside "Tokyo Dome LaQua DELI&DISH," with an open layout that makes it inviting. The interior is predominantly white, creating a cafe-like atmosphere. There are counter seats and table seats, and when I visited around 8:10 PM, it was about 70% full. After looking through the menu placed on the table, I was disappointed to find that the limited-time "Cold Corn Ramen" I was eyeing had already ended. Nevertheless, since I was in the mood for something cold, I decided to try the new limited-time "Cold Clam Chowder Ramen" (1254 yen). After placing my order, the Cold Clam Chowder Ramen arrived in a tall bowl with a narrow base, featuring a beautifully presented cold cream soup. I eagerly tried the soup, and it was delicious! The chilled soup had a strong flavor of clams, with a creamy and smooth texture that was rich and flavorful. It was enhanced by the use of dried ingredients like dried shiitake mushrooms and kombu, giving it a deep umami taste. The straight, medium-thin noodles were slippery and smooth, allowing them to easily soak up the soup. They had a firm and chewy texture, complementing the cold clam chowder soup perfectly. The whole clams in their shells added a delightful seafood flavor to the dish. The pork chashu was tender and moist, enhancing the overall flavor. The greens provided a crunchy texture and a hint of bitterness, adding a nice contrast. The seasonal watermelon was sweet and refreshing, pairing well with the cold cream soup. The minced arugula had a crunchy texture and a flavorful taste, serving as a great accent. The yellow flower petals not only added color but also contributed to the overall flavor profile. The baguette was crispy and toasted, making it a perfect accompaniment to the soup. As I finished the soup, I realized that it had a strong salty taste with a subtle creaminess and depth of flavor from the clams and dried ingredients. I couldn't help but finish every last drop! Overall, the price range was reasonable, and the quality was satisfactory. Although I didn't get to try the cold ramen I had in mind, the Cold Clam Chowder Ramen was a well-executed dish that left me fully satisfied. The restaurant's convenient location in a commercial facility and the appealing limited-time menu items make me want to visit again when the opportunity arises!

This is a sister restaurant of Ebisoba Ichigen, known for their lobster ramen. I ordered the original lobster ramen with risotto set, and the total bill came to around 1,500 yen. The ramen was neatly arranged with all the ingredients in the bowl, but the attention to detail seemed lacking when looking at each component, making it evident that cost and effort were kept to a minimum. Even just a little more effort in preparing the mini tomatoes could have made it tastier. The lobster bisque-like soup was rich and delicious, although the tomato flavor was a bit strong. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

● Chilled Clam Chowder Ramen 1380 [Limited Edition] ● Clam and Tomato Risotto 580 [Limited Edition] ○ ======================================== Located on Shirayama Street within the Rakua complex in Korakuen, this is the 2nd branch of Ebimaru Ramen, which attracts a lot of female customers. ○ ======================================== There's watermelon on top, haha! (´▽`) There are flowers scattered around, maybe zucchini flowers? The cold soup is creamy with a strong clam flavor and fairly salty, but it works well as a cold dish. The clams are plentiful and delicious, not just a garnish! The generous amount of chopped onions adds a nice texture too! The thin, firm round noodles have a fun chewiness that goes well with the cold soup! The strong saltiness also seems to work well. As for the watermelon... well, it goes with cold noodles, right? (*゚▽゚)ノ ○ ======================================== When you think of Ebimaru, you think of risotto, right? So here we go! Pour the hot soup over the sizzling skillet and it goes sizzle sizzle! Then they shave a mountain of cheese on top ♥ Since the rice is covered with clams, you can really feel the texture, but... especially after breaking the egg yolk, the flavors become quite intense, so it doesn't really matter if it's clams or not, haha! ヽ(#゜Д゜)ノ┌┛Σ(ノ´Д`)ノ ウシロアタマキック! ○ ======================================== As always, they offer creative dishes, which is nice once in a while, right? That was a delicious meal~ ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

For lunch, I had cold ramen at Korakuen. The clam chowder had quite a few clams in it. The watermelon and chrysanthemum petals were very summery. It's great for the hot summer weather. On a holiday night at 8:00 PM, the restaurant was almost full. I ordered the limited edition chilled clam chowder ramen. Despite its appearance, the soup was incredibly flavorful and paired well with the cream. The soup alone was satisfying enough. The chewy noodles and unique toppings added to the overall enjoyment of the dish.
