When I was at my parents' house on November 13, I stopped by this shop after work at Kyūgasaki Station, but I ended up leaving without buying anything. This time, when I went back to my parents' house and had guests coming over, I thought about nearby cake shops, and this one came to mind. It's conveniently located just 30 seconds away from the Kyūgasaki Station platform, which is great. However, being on the first floor of what looks like an apartment building, it doesn't really look like a cake shop, haha. I visited around 4:30 pm, so I was worried there might not be many cakes left, but surprisingly there was a wide variety still available. I purchased the "Mont Blanc," "Yogurt Mousse," "Almondy," "Fromage Cru Le Gual," and "Praline Chocolat." I got the Almondy for myself and a little bit of Mont Blanc from my father. The "Almondy" is white chocolate mousse with strawberry jelly and pistachio cream, and being a fan of white chocolate and pistachios, I immediately decided on this one from the display case, haha. The milky taste of white chocolate, the nuttiness of pistachios, and the acidity of strawberries made for a delightful combination. It was a flavor that made me want to come back for more. The "Mont Blanc" has meringue topped with Mont Blanc cream. My father said, "The meringue is too sweet," so I thought, "I love sweet things, so I'm all for it!" but indeed, it was too sweet. However, the Mont Blanc cream was less sweet, allowing you to enjoy the taste of chestnuts themselves, with a slightly grainy texture. I don't have many opportunities to eat Mont Blanc, but is this how it usually is...? Personally, I prefer a smoother texture. When we visited, there were two groups of customers ahead of us, and as we were leaving, three groups were waiting in line. Perhaps due to its proximity to the station and the good ratings on Tabelog, it seems to be a popular shop without a doubt. The other cakes also looked delicious, so I would like to visit again when I go back to my parents' house next time. 😊🍰
