This is the taiyaki from Namiha-ya. I remembered how delicious it was when I had it once in the cold weather, so I decided to visit again after a long time. I stopped by around noon and got two taiyaki for takeout, each costing 180 yen. In addition to taiyaki, they also offer chilled shiruko and ningyo-yaki on weekends. I tried the taiyaki right away, and it was warm with plenty of red bean paste filling from head to tail! It was packed with ingredients and had just the right amount of sweetness, making it very delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The taiyaki here, selected as one of the top 100 stores, costs 180 yen each. It is freshly baked with plenty of red bean paste and delicious. However, I wouldn't go out of my way just to eat taiyaki here. There are natural taiyaki chain stores nearby, so I would prefer going there. In the first place, I rarely feel like eating taiyaki, maybe once every few years. Yet, the fact that this place is selected as one of the top 100 stores makes me feel a sense of disgust towards myself for coming all the way here.

Good customer service, fast service, delicious taste, good portion size, good value for money ... It was filled with piping hot red bean paste from head to tail. It had a perfect level of sweetness and a moist red bean filling. It was delicious.

Cost performance quality is 86 points, service is 78 points, and cleanliness is 75 points. Cash only. Overall rating is 84 points. The store is an old-fashioned place, the interior seems hot, and the taiyaki has a crispy crust with plenty of red bean paste. The order was taiyaki for ¥180. Appearance: Taste: The taiyaki was fresh and filled with plenty of red bean paste. The crust was crispy, sweet, and delicious! The location of the store is a 10-minute walk from Edogawabashi Station. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Kagurazaka Station. At a taiyaki shop in Edogawa Bridge. I visited on a Sunday late morning. It was a hot day, so there weren't many people around. I bought one taiyaki. The skin was a bit thicker than the original, but the filling was delicious with its chunky texture.

From the 3rd exit of Edogawabashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, it's a 3-minute walk to a delicious taiyaki stand. The taiyaki costs 180 yen and has a thin crispy skin with just the right amount of sweet red bean paste filling. It's a perfectly balanced taiyaki that is very tasty! Instagram ID: kuidaore.8.

I bought a taiyaki at a shop along the street in Edogawabashi. I was surprised to find a shopping street like this here. It was a decent visit on a holiday afternoon, but the taiyaki had been sitting for a while after being baked. The price was only 180 yen, which was a great deal.

Hanagashiya, a famous taiyaki shop known for its traditional Japanese sweets, is located a short walk from Kagurazaka. The shop specializes in takeout orders and has a nostalgic charm with its old-fashioned noren curtain. If you visit right when they open at 11 am on Saturdays, you'll find it less crowded. While there are multiple Hanagashiya locations in Tokyo and Osaka, this particular shop stands out with its historical signage, despite being on the first floor of a building. The taiyaki here is freshly made using natural ingredients and handed to you piping hot right at the entrance. The filling is on the sweeter side, and the outer shell is thin, making it easy to eat but also prone to crumbling. Enjoy!

While walking from Kagurazaka towards Edogawa Bridge, I stumbled upon Naniwaya in the area. At first, I thought it might be one of the famous taiyaki shops, but it turned out to be different from the main stores in Azabu-Juban. Nevertheless, since it was still Naniwaya, we decided to try one. We got the regular taiyaki with plenty of filling. The skin was thin, and the filling was generous. Both my husband and I prefer a slightly thicker skin, but overall it was a good snack to enjoy while walking around.

The restaurant "Naniwa-ya Sohonten" in Azabu-Juban is one of the three famous Tokyo taiyaki shops, established in the early Showa period. They specialize in a single-serving natural taiyaki, with a refreshing filling that is easy to eat. The dough has a crispy texture. It was slightly lukewarm and a bit old, probably due to the rain and some time passing. Priced at 180 yen, the ingredients include Hokkaido Tokachi red beans, flour, salt, and leavening agent, keeping it simple. Each taiyaki is cooked individually using a special mold for "one at a time" (natural) cooking method. The shop only accepts cash payments, no photography inside the store, and no eating in front of the store. Established in the early Showa period, the shop was originally located in Bakuro-yokoyama-cho, but was destroyed during the Tokyo air raids. It reopened in Edogawa Bridge in 1951 when sugar became available. The charming elderly master was seen cooking, and their mini taiyaki in the shape of a small sea bream is also popular.

The Taiyaki at Antei no Naniwaya has a unique flavor from being cooked on an oil-stained iron plate with a long history. It's not too big, not too much bean paste, and not too sweet, making it just right for even when you're full. I love the crispy burnt parts of the Taiyaki.

This is a taiyaki shop near Edogawabashi Station. The shop is small and cozy. I had one taiyaki, which was freshly baked and quite hot, so be careful if you have a sensitive tongue. You can slightly taste the red bean paste and the dough separately, and overall, it was delicious.

Naniwa-ya, which was also located in Edogawabashi, is a well-known shop in Azabu-Juban. I have been to Naniwa-ya in Asakusa before, but I didn't know they had a branch here. I visited right before closing time on a holiday. Since they weren't baking anymore and had pre-made items, I quickly made a purchase. It would have been better to come when they were still baking to enjoy the freshly baked treats. They had summer limited cold shiruko with shiratama and ningyo-yaki sold on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. By the way, you can reserve taiyaki starting from 6 pieces. Payment was cash only. I ordered the taiyaki for 180 yen. The outside was crispy while the inside was slightly chewy, and it had a nice fragrance from being well-baked. It felt a bit hard, so it seems best to eat it fresh out of the oven. The red bean paste was relatively generous and not too sweet. The skin was light, and the red bean paste was also light, making it easy to eat but lacking in impact. Overall, it didn't quite suit my taste. It's a small thing, but taiyaki is a tricky food after all. I feel like the main shop was tastier, so I would like to try it again if I have the chance. I felt like the flour and red bean paste were different, but maybe it's just my imagination. Thank you for the meal!

I went to Edogawabashi and got hungry, so I bought a taiyaki from Namikaya Edogawabashi. I think it's a branch of Namikaya, which is famous for taiyaki. The outer dough is crispy, with a fragrant aroma and a slightly chewy texture that goes well with the sweet and piping hot red bean paste inside. The crispy aroma of the dough and the piping hot, melty red bean paste might make you think you'll burn your mouth, but it's a delicious taiyaki that you'll want to eat. It was a very delicious taiyaki.

I went shopping around 4 pm on Friday and on my way back, I stopped by here because there was no line. I bought one taiyaki for 180 yen. It was freshly baked and still hot. I ate it outside halfway through. It was so delicious! Azabu-Juban and Asakusa have good taiyaki, but this place is also incredibly tasty! Lately, I've been really enjoying Japanese traditional sweets. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely go back again ^ ^

I visited "Naniwaya Edogawabashi," located in Bunkyo Ward next to Mejirodai, known as a high-class residential area. This establishment has been selected as one of the top 100 sweets shops in Tokyo for 2023 on Tabelog. With over 50 years of history, they specialize in taiyaki (fish-shaped cake with sweet filling). The shop is just a 3-minute walk from Edogawabashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, located on the Jizo Street shopping arcade. As you enter the shop with a noren curtain featuring the image of taiyaki, you can see the taiyaki being freshly baked on the griddle. Today, I tried their taiyaki. The hot taiyaki had a thin, crispy, and fragrant skin. It was filled with sweet red bean paste from head to tail, making it quite heavy. The red bean paste had a subtle sweetness. In addition to the regular-sized taiyaki, they also offer mini taiyaki on their menu. Thank you for the meal.

Located in a corner of the shopping street in Edogawabashi, this place has a very local feel. They sell taiyaki for 180 yen each, and they bake them one by one so you can enjoy them fresh. I think they also had shiratama anmitsu for the summer. The locals were buying it. Recently, the taiyaki mix powder has evolved, so the gap between taiyaki shops is disappearing, but I truly respect their commitment to baking each one individually.

I went to a famous taiyaki shop in Edogawabashi. They make unique single-serving taiyaki, carefully grilled one by one. This shop has been around for over 50 years and was opened by someone who trained at "Naniwaya" in Azabujuban. The shape is similar to Naniwaya in Azabujuban, with a thin skin and a moderate sweetness of red bean paste. It's easy to eat! It was a very hot day, but the taiyaki with the perfect sweetness made me very satisfied. I love the old-fashioned crispy and slightly burnt aroma of taiyaki, especially the tail part is irresistible... I was so happy.

I walked further to Edogawa Bridge from Kagurazaka because I wanted to eat taiyaki. I was craving for a taiyaki with red bean paste that has been set on fire by Kūya. As I entered the shopping street, the aroma of taiyaki filled the air. It was so fragrant. I followed the scent and found a coffee bean shop, a yakitori stall, and a taiyaki shop. The triangle of aromas was amazing. Even though it was only for takeout, I lined up and quickly made a purchase. The shop had a Showa-era atmosphere where taiyaki was being baked. I bought taiyaki and some white rice balls with red bean paste as souvenirs. The taiyaki was thin and crispy. For those who love crispy textures, this is irresistible. Although I love red bean paste, I prefer taiyaki with a thin and crispy texture. The mildly sweet red bean paste had a hint of saltiness. It was delicious. I left the shop, feeling tempted by the yakitori and coffee, and headed home. I ate the white rice balls with red bean paste before taking a picture. There were four large white rice balls floating in the red bean paste. The white rice balls were soft and chewy. It was a delightful dessert. Tokyo has many delicious taiyaki shops, which brings happiness.
