They were open early in the morning, which was very convenient for buying souvenirs. It was my first time visiting. Since it was early in the morning, there were not many customers, so I was able to chat with the staff while choosing souvenirs. I originally came to buy squares, but there were more flavors than I expected, which made it difficult to decide. Unfortunately, they didn't have assortments of different flavors, so I ended up choosing a 10-centimeter square divided into nine pieces of one flavor. I thought it might be too much, so I limited the flavors and chose the most popular one, brown sugar, for myself. As a gift, I had them pack a set of two boxes of brown sugar and soybean flour in a box. The packaging was more elegant than I had expected, and it came with an introduction to the shop's products, making it perfect for a celebratory gift! After returning home, I placed 2 out of the 9 pieces on a plate with some coffee and tried them. When I took a bite, it was sweet and crispy! This flavor is sure to be a hit with girls. The combination of coffee's bitterness and the subtle sweetness of brown sugar, along with the sweet potato used in the syrup, gives it a rich sweetness that doesn't overwhelm. It's perfect as a snack with a cup of matcha tea. It paired well with coffee and black tea. The person I gave it to as a souvenir seemed satisfied with the luxurious appearance and delicious taste. Next time, I plan to choose a different flavor for souvenirs!

While on my way to Tokyo Station, I bought some sweet potatoes as souvenirs for my home and for a friend who loves sweet potatoes. I enjoyed them as a snack when I got home, along with some warabi mochi I received as a souvenir from my sister who went to Kyoto. These sweet potatoes are convenient for snacking when you just want a little bit. They were delicious. Thank you for the meal!

At the Tokyo Station Gransta, there is a shop selling sweet potato snacks. To make a purchase, you need a ticket to enter the station. When asking for recommendations, I was told that the most popular item is the "Kado no Wasanbon" along with the baked chocolate. I bought them and they were delicious. Thank you very much.

On Sunday, around 9 o'clock, I was wandering around Tokyo Station without any plans, and decided to get a takeout of a chocolate-flavored wagashi called "Shizuku" made with sweet potato paste using Naruto Kintoki sweet potatoes. It cost 378 yen. I ate it at home and it was unbelievably delicious! I must have it again! Thank you for the meal ^ ^ I will definitely go back again.

Inside GRANSTA TOKYO ◇ Business hours 8:00-22:00, Sundays and holidays 8:00-21:00 ◇ Closed: None ◇ Credit cards, electronic money accepted−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−Selected as one of the top 100 traditional Japanese sweets and dessert shops in 2023. I chose the shop, but according to my wife, it seems delicious. I don't have as much knowledge about traditional Japanese sweets as my wife, so I'll just listen to her. When you enter the store, there are so many options to choose from, what would be good? I'll leave it to my wife after all. The items I purchased were: ◆Kaku Wasanbon (864 yen) It brings out the taste of the ingredients, is it made with Naruto sweet potatoes? Of course, it's sweetened, but it has a gentle coating of honey and sugar, and the inside is well-infused. I enjoyed it slowly with Darjeeling, forgetting about time. It felt a bit sweet, but I thought this was the best finish. It was very delicious. ◆Raku (270 yen) I bought three of these, so I thought she must like them, but apparently she had never tried them before (laughs). I imagined it to be like sweet potato, with a moist texture, but it was a fluffy and high-quality castella cake. It was subtly sweet and delicious. I definitely want to eat this again! 【Overall】 It was even more delicious than I imagined. It lasts for a while, so it's recommended as a souvenir. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal ♥

I often go to the Dean & Deluca side of the same Gransta, and I think I've hardly ever been to this side (near Boulangerie Asano) before. The "Kaku" honey-glazed sweet potato seems to be a popular item, but there are so many varieties that I'm not sure which one to choose (・ω・`;)... so I went with the most orthodox one ~ * "Kaku" ... Narmot Kintoki steamed with Wasanbon and soaked in a special honey bed, then dried and cut into bite-sized pieces for easy consumption (lasts about 5 weeks). I tried eating it as it is as soon as I got home. Hmm, nothing special... so I decided to try microwaving it (1 piece at 600w for 10 seconds), and it was delicious (*゚ロ゚*) Please try warming it up and eating it ~ I wonder if it's really worth being selected as one of the top 100 shops... I'd like to try the Imo Kintsuba if I have the chance. It's totally unrelated, but when I passed by Hitotsu Bukanko, I was surprised to see that Gumi Tseru's ticket distribution started at 8:30, it must be really popular! 2023 Top 100 Shops

The wagashi shop inside Gransta specializes in sweets made with Naruto Kintoki sweet potatoes. However, the difficulty of processing Naruto Kintoki is evident in their products, as well as the common practice of excessive sugar in sweets from large companies. I tried the kintoki sweet potato jelly and baked chocolate, but to be honest, finishing them was tough.

Sweets tour at Tokyo Station Gransta underground floor 1. Bought some karinto and then headed here. Gransta can be quite confusing to navigate haha. After searching around, finally found it. It was located in an area with lots of sweets. The name suggests it might be a shop with its main store in Tokushima. Various sweet potato sweets were lined up. It was around 7:00 PM on Sunday but they still had plenty of products. Couldn't decide which one to get, so ended up choosing the sweet potato this time. They also had chocolate and matcha Daigakuimo. ▶︎ Purchased item: Baked Sweet Potato with Okinawan Brown Sugar for 270 yen. It was quite small. It had a moist and crumbly texture, like a steamed sweet potato cake. There were sweet potatoes in it but not in chunks, just a subtle hint of the flavor. The gentle sweetness of Okinawan brown sugar was pleasant. It was different from what I expected as sweet potato, but I see, so this is what they mean by a Japanese-style sweet potato. It might be a nice little dessert for the Shinkansen ride. For those who love sweet potatoes, definitely give it a try. Thank you for the meal!

Visited around 3:45 pm on the weekend. No customers at the beginning. Found out about this store because it's a well-known shop. Tokyo Station was incredibly crowded, and I regretted coming on the weekend... Even though it's in Gransta, which is expanding rapidly, it was hard for me, a Tokyoite, to find it (lol). It's located in a corner at the back of the bakery "Asanoya", not directly below the Shinkansen platform, but further towards Marunouchi (there are signs). Please refer to the floor map in the photo. Is the "Kaku" with sweet potato soaked in honey the signature product? There were about 12 different flavors. ★ [Kaku] Seared 864 yen Square-cut sweet potatoes lined up in 9 pieces. I couldn't really tell if they were seared from their appearance or taste. Maybe if you compare them with the regular ones, you can tell. At first, I thought it was similar to sweet potato yokan, but it's not as sticky, and it retains the fluffy texture of sweet potatoes, which is unique. The honey has soaked in well, and it paired nicely with the strong roasted tea flavor ♡

It is located near the Marunouchi ticket gate of Gransta. I tried the Kado no Kazu no Bon for around 800 yen. It was delicious. However, it is not particularly special compared to the many other delicious options nearby. I'm not sure why this place was chosen, especially with so many similar options in Gransta and Daimaru.

This is a shop located inside Tokyo Station's ticket gate. I visited on a weekday afternoon and was able to make a purchase smoothly. What I bought that day was the "Kado no Wasanbon" sweet. The sweet combines the unique sweetness of Wasanbon sugar with the fragrance of sweet potatoes, making it very delicious. It seems like a perfect snack to enjoy with tea. The packaging also has a luxurious feel, making it a good choice for a souvenir.

I purchased 【Kaku】Wasanbon for 864 yen (tax included) at a shop inside Tokyo Station Gransta. The Kaku series is a sweet made by soaking sweet potatoes cut into squares in honey. The sweet potatoes themselves have a fluffy sweetness, and the gentle sweetness of the honey, such as Wasanbon, seeps in, making it delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I purchased "Kaku Wasanbon" at Naruto Kintoki Honpo Kuri Oshouten at Gransta in Tokyo Station! It was located inside Marunouchi side of Gransta. There were various types of sweets, but the simplest one was with Wasanbon sugar, so I bought the Wasanbon one for 864 yen. The ingredients are really simple, yet it can last for about a month (store in the refrigerator after opening). When you open it, you can smell the sweet potato fragrance. When you eat it, the simple taste of sweet potato is really good. It's also nice that you can easily eat it in one bite. I would like to try other products as well. ❤

Inside Tokyo Station at the Gransta underground 1st floor, located on the Marunouchi side. Today's purchase - Kakuyu 864 yen. It is a high-quality sweet potato. It may be better described as rich rather than sweet. It may seem a bit expensive for a tea snack, but it enhances an elegant coffee time. By the way, I enjoyed it with my favorite fragrant roasted tea. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 4 pm on a regular day. There were people looking at the showcase, but I was able to make a purchase right away.
- Baked Chocolate: 270 yen
It looks like a chocolate gateau with a chocolate color. It is soft and eaten with a spoon. Although it looks Western-style, it has a distinct sweet potato flavor. It is elegant and seems like a good choice for a souvenir. I paid with Rakuten Pay.

"The combination of sweet potato and honey is amazing in this dish. The sweet potato is steamed and then soaked in a special honey mixture before being dried and cut into bite-sized cubes. It has a light chewy texture that is very enjoyable."

I went to my workplace using Tokyo Station and stopped by Kurio Shouten to buy souvenirs. I purchased a sweet potato called "Yaki" with a flavor of Japanese brown sugar. It is a bite-sized sweet potato with black sesame inside. It is a delicious sweet potato that allows you to enjoy the fragrance and sweetness of sweet potatoes. Next time, I would like to try other sweet potato sweets.

I visited on Saturday morning. It is located on the B1 floor inside Tokyo Station's ticket gate. There was no wait. I got the takeout of wasanbon. It had a simple sweetness of sweet potatoes and a natural taste, which was delicious. I think it's convenient to be able to buy inside the ticket gate. Tokyo Station's Gransta is spacious and the souvenir area is divided, so I felt it would be helpful to research in advance to avoid getting lost.

I tried the sweet potato and castella takeout from Kintsuba starting in October. I underestimated it, but the sweet potato flavor was very rich, and it was a satisfying dessert in one bite. Personally, I prefer the sweet potato with its sticky texture and sesame accent.
