A few years ago, a friend introduced me to a bookmarked restaurant that I had been wanting to visit for a long time. I called the day before and luckily there was a seat available! Located in the middle of Ginza, between JR Shimbashi Station and Yurakucho Station, this area is known for high-end boutiques, luxury restaurants, and historic bars. The entrance to the restaurant is a bit narrow, but there is a sign outside making it easy to find. The beer bar Luprin opened in June 2012, and in April 2020, Luprin Charcoal Grill opened on the 2nd floor of the same building. The beer bar Luprin has an open kitchen as you enter, with a counter seating for 10 people and two 4-seater tables, totaling 18 seats. The atmosphere is moody and dimly lit, with a mix of groups and solo customers, about an equal number of men and women. The staff, including two beautiful female staff members and a male owner/chef, were friendly and easy to talk to. The menu was cute, with handwritten notes on musical staff paper, showing attention to detail. I ordered the Farcry Hazy IPA from Gunma, Luprin Sour with vodka, live baby clam bruschetta, leafy green salad, pink cherry blossom sea bream, and Ezo deer loin. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, showcasing the chef's creativity and skill. Luprin offers a variety of unique dishes using game meat, and their attention to detail and quality ingredients really stood out. The overall experience was fantastic, and I found a new favorite restaurant in a prime location in Ginza. Highly recommended for a cozy and delicious dining experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
