Years ago, my then-boyfriend (now husband) introduced me to this shop, saying "There's a delicious crepe shop nearby." He recommended the Butter Sugar crepe. At the time, I loved crepes with lots of whipped cream, so I was skeptical about Butter Sugar - could something so simple really be delicious? But it was truly amazing!! This crepe was the starting point for me falling in love with the Butter Sugar flavor. The crepe had a perfect mix of crispy and chewy textures, and the crunchy sugar was irresistible. The butter flavor wasn't overpowering. It's the best Butter Sugar crepe I've ever had. And at 270 yen, it's reasonably priced. My husband said it used to be 190 yen when he was in elementary school, a luxurious treat from his childhood. The shop may look old, but it has a long history in the community. They offer a wide variety of crepes to enjoy, but I recommend starting with the Butter Sugar. I went back after a long time and had to wait in line. It's become quite popular!! I lined up on a weekday, so I imagine it gets even busier on weekends. Mornings are probably the best time to visit.

I used to be able to eat it easily before, and it was so delicious that I loved it. However, recently there is always a long line, but today it was relatively empty so I decided to challenge the line. There were 3 groups of 7 people in front of me, and I lined up on Saturday at 5 pm. I was able to order in 15 minutes and got my order 15 minutes later. There was a recommendation for raspberry and blueberry, so I chose the raspberry with whipped cream. I thought about getting strawberry with whipped cream, but I was drawn to the fresh banana over the jam. The whipped cream with fresh strawberries has chunks of strawberry in it. In the pick-up line, a male staff member cooks the crepe and hands it to you. There is no specific proof of payment, you just line up in order in the pick-up line and receive your order. There are benches in front of the store, so you can sit and eat the freshly cooked crepe. The staff also recommend eating it as soon as possible rather than taking it to go. The crepe has a crispy surface on the outside. The inside is soft and chewy. The combination of cream and banana is great. The banana adds a good amount of volume. It was a delicious dessert. After that, there is a taiyaki shop on the opposite side of the station, so I did a dessert crawl!

This shop is not a chain or trendy place, but it offers a delicious crepe at a reasonable price, with a friendly staff and a good portion size.
