A Latin American cuisine restaurant located at the midpoint between Kanda Station and Iidabashi Station. You can enjoy authentic Argentine and Mexican cuisine here. The meat dishes, appetizers, and wines are all excellent! The Empanadas and Muslo al Chilindron, unique Argentine dishes, are highly recommended! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is like being in a foreign country. It seems like a great place for a date! And rumor has it that even celebrities come here for meals...

I opted for a course with all-you-can-drink option. Since it's an Argentinean cuisine restaurant, there are no sour drinks included in the all-you-can-drink menu, so if you have limited choices for alcohol, it might be better to order drinks separately. The restaurant doesn't have many seats, and it always seems to be full. The staff, consisting of a few people, seems to be a bit slow in serving the food. The dishes are not too exotic, so anyone should be able to enjoy them.

Actually, I was planning to go to a nearby Chinese restaurant for lunch, but it was closed, so I ended up going to this restaurant instead. The delicious-looking hamburger was sold out. They said they had a one-plate dish, but the cream chicken with yellow chili was not available due to timing issues. So, I had to choose between Argentine beef cutlet or pasta, and I decided to go with the cutlet because I didn't think it would be interesting to have pasta at an Argentine restaurant. There weren't many lunch options, so I almost left, but the staff's service was very polite, so I decided to give it a try. First, the cranberry juice that came with the lunch set was delicious, and I was already satisfied. The salad and soup that followed were also tasty and raised my expectations. The Argentine beef cutlet (1450 yen) that was served was in an impressive shape, thin and spread out like a handkerchief. When I tried it, it had a completely different taste from Japanese beef cutlets, which only someone who has eaten it would understand. It was thin and easy to eat, but the flavor was a bit monotonous, so I got a bit tired of it towards the end. If they had the cream chicken, I felt that having it along with the cutlet in a half-size portion on one plate would be a good balance. The total bill was 1590 yen, and I felt that over 1500 yen was a bit expensive, considering that the menu prices were excluding tax. However, the portion size was generous, and the set contents were lavish. The cutlet and soup had unique flavors, which made the meal interesting.

I visited this restaurant for dinner a month ago and was still excited, so I decided to visit again today for lunch on my day off. They had a Weekly Lunch sign outside, but please note that they only serve lunch on weekdays. Here is what I ordered: - Focaccia 250 yen: Focaccia with squid ink. It looks impressive, but the squid ink flavor could have been more pronounced. - Grilled beef harami and potato with turmeric 1,350 yen: A Latin-inspired dish with a strong salty flavor. I really enjoy bold and flavorful dishes like this, and the perfect amount of spiciness adds a nice touch. - White wine (glass) 600 yen: Wine is a must. The total came to 2,420 yen. Thank you for the meal. I was interested in the rooftop terrace, so I asked about the conditions for using it: a minimum of 10 people and it comes with a set course menu and all-you-can-drink option.

One of my colleagues mentioned that the Argentine cuisine he had in Bangkok was delicious. I also have fond memories of Argentine cuisine I had in Milan, which was very meaty. So, we decided to look for an Argentine restaurant to try the cuisine. We could only find one in a difficult location near the border between Shibuya and Meguro, with the closest station being Koenji Station on the Inokashira Line. With a group of four, we decided to go for the course menu since the menu only listed dish names. The restaurant's website had brief descriptions of the dishes, which was helpful. The meal started with a salad, which already gave us confidence that the food would be delicious. The Empanadas were like large fried dumplings with a dense meat filling seasoned with spices for added flavor. All the meat dishes were cooked to perfection with a wild char and seasoning that paired well with the wine. The meal ended with an espresso, which was the perfect finish. With four bottles of wine consumed, the cost of 12,000 yen per person was worth it. We started at 7 pm and enjoyed the meal until 11:30 pm, a total of four and a half hours. The ambiance was great, and I would definitely like to visit again! Thank you for the wonderful meal. <Argentinian Asado Course> ◆ Course Plan 2 4,180 yen - Salad - Empanada - Papas Gauchos (Garlic Potato Fries) - Chorizo - Hara mi - Costeleta (Bone-in Rib) - Bola de Lomo - Dessert - Coffee <Addition> - Ceviche 1,598 yen - Beer x 4 - Wine x 4 Total 49,335 yen

Located along Aoshima Street, where it intersects with Yamanote Street. Just a short walk from Matsumi-zaka intersection. Right next to the popular "anea cafe Matsumi-zaka," which became famous thanks to the hit drama "silent." The nearest station might be Shibuya, Komaba-Todaimae, or Ikejiri Ohashi, all of which are about a 10-minute walk away. Taking a bus or taxi might be convenient. The eye-catching bright yellow building marks the spot of the Argentinean restaurant "Costa Latina." The entire three-story building is dedicated to this restaurant, and they even open up the rooftop upon request. Truly Latin style. This was my second visit since last summer. It was a Sunday night, celebrating a colleague's birthday here. The flamboyant exterior, interior, music, staff, and of course, the Latin-inspired food and drinks! Generous meat dishes (they call it "asado"), huge fried dumplings ("empanadas"), fried cassava (made from tapioca), and more. All items you don't typically get to eat every day! With the funky staff and the music in the background, the energy was through the roof! I lost count of how many times we said "Cheers!" A perfect place for a night of hearty meat-eating! ¡Salud!

I had a hard time finding Argentine cuisine, but I finally found it and got really excited! It was a treat to myself for my birthday! The restaurant was very busy and popular. The pace of the course was relatively slow, and they offered a variety of menu items, including a drink all-you-can option. Of course, when you think of Argentina, you think of asado! I was so excited to try it! The meat had a rich flavor even though it was hardly seasoned, and it just melted in my mouth. It is common to eat it with salsa sauce, which was also delicious. The staff were friendly and approachable, and the head chef even came to greet us at the end. I definitely want to come back with friends to this restaurant that left a good impression on me!

Love it! This restaurant was visited during the filming of RAVIT! It is said that Argentina consumes four times more beef than Japan. I made a reservation after learning that dishes I had never thought of before could be eaten in Tokyo. There are several Argentine restaurants, but this one seemed to be particularly popular for its delicious food. I was surprised to see that there were quite a few spicy dishes marked with a chili symbol. However, they were not too spicy, so I think they are enjoyable for those who are not a fan of spicy food. The dishes were very approachable for Japanese people. Even the complimentary soup was delicious. Everything I tried was delicious! The Argentine grape wine, which is representative of Argentina, was also very easy to drink. It was very tasty, and the portions were generous, yet the prices were reasonable. It's an exciting restaurant with dishes that make you want to come back with friends.

The "Garlic Stir-Fried Eggplant" at this place is truly the best, this is my third visit and I always end up ordering it. Today, I also got to enjoy some ginkgo nuts and felt really happy. I really want to try some meaty dishes too, but I always get distracted by other tempting options and end up not getting to it. Next time, I'll definitely go for the meat dish!

When you want to eat Argentine cuisine, this is the only choice. I have been going to this restaurant for almost 10 years now. They serve authentic asado, which is very rare to find. They have a lot of unique menu items, but I was disappointed when my favorite soft tacos were taken off the menu. The overall atmosphere is great, and as the weather gets warmer, the open and lively interior becomes even more vibrant. It's a great place for both large groups and dates. Highly recommended for anyone interested!

- Soup (appetizer): The soup had a sweet taste of carrots. - Watercress and mushroom salad (1,000 yen): The salad had a strong flavor of truffle salt. The mushrooms were fresh. - Empanadas (2 pieces for 880 yen): The empanadas were filled with meat and had a firm crust. The beef had a Mexican seasoning. - Aji de Gallina (1,300 yen): Creamy chicken dish with a spicy kick from yellow chili peppers. - Cazuela de Marisco (1,980 yen): Seafood stew from Patagonia, similar to bouillabaisse. You can add butter rice for an extra 200 yen. It was simply delicious. - Asado: I chose the 300g cut of meat from the thigh area for 2,700 yen. Along with the meat, grilled vegetables were also served. The meat was juicy and delicious.

■ Access: 10 minutes walk from Ikejiri-Ohashi Station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line ■ Second visit ■ Purpose: Dinner with friends ■ Overview: A specialized Argentine cuisine restaurant located along Awashima Street in Matsumizaka. This popular restaurant offers authentic Argentine-style barbecue and casual Argentine cuisine. With seating available on the first to third floors and even on the rooftop, the restaurant also accommodates private floor reservations. ■ Menu: Both course meals and a la carte options are available. There is a variety of courses to choose from, including meals only or courses with all-you-can-drink options, allowing for flexibility depending on the occasion. The house specialty, Asado, has its roots in Argentina's grassland region, where the meat is slowly grilled over charcoal, resulting in deliciously cooked meat. On this day, we ordered three types of steak and several a la carte dishes. ■ Impression: A regular customer brought us to this restaurant for a private rooftop barbecue. The authentic Argentine-style steak served here was incredibly delicious, prompting me to return. Before the steak arrived, we were served with several appetizers. The Empanada, a traditional meat pie, was a hearty dish with meat tightly packed inside the pie crust. It featured original spices that enhanced the flavor of the meat. A must-try dish is the Ajidegajina, a chicken dish cooked with chili peppers and cream. The tender chicken, creamy richness, and spicy kick from the chili peppers created a perfect balance of flavors. The main steaks included three cuts, with the Hara mi steak being a personal favorite. The Hara mi cut includes the fatty and sinewy parts, resulting in a strong umami flavor. Grilled over charcoal, the excess fat drips off, intensifying the meat's flavor. I look forward to utilizing this restaurant for various occasions in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal. ■ Rating at the time of visit: 3.44

- Access: 10 minutes walk from Ikejiri Ohashi Station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line - Number of visits: First time - Purpose: Dinner with friends - Overview: Located along the Awashima Street in Matsugisaka, this is a specialty Argentine cuisine restaurant. It is popular for its authentic Argentine-style barbecue and casual enjoyment of Argentine cuisine. The restaurant has seating on the 1st to 3rd floors, as well as on the rooftop, and can accommodate private floor rentals. - Menu: Both course and a la carte options are available. There is a wide variety of courses offered, including meal-only courses and courses with all-you-can-drink options. The house specialty, Asado, has its roots in grilling meat in the grasslands of Argentina, and you can enjoy meat cooked slowly over charcoal. On this day, we ordered a course with all-you-can-drink option. - Impression: Since I knew someone who was a regular customer here, we had the rooftop to ourselves and enjoyed a barbecue-style meal. The course included appetizers and authentic Argentine dishes one after another. The eggplant and potato fries were all delicious with a garlicky flavor that went well with the drinks. The main meat dishes, Hara mi and ribs, were boldly cooked. The Hara mi, cooked with the fatty suji part, had a very strong umami flavor. The charcoal grilling method allowed the excess fat to drip off, concentrating the natural flavor of the meat. It was a great experience to enjoy meat and drinks in the open rooftop space. I look forward to gathering friends and enjoying a course on the rooftop again. Thank you for the meal. - Score at the time of visit: 3.44

Yamanote Street is just a short walk from the Matsumi-zaka intersection. The closest stations are Shibuya? Komaba-Todaimae? Ikejiri-Ohashi? It seems to take about a 10-minute walk from any of these stations. Taking a bus or taxi might be convenient. The standout bright yellow building is the landmark of the Argentine restaurant "Costa Latina". The three-story building is all part of this restaurant, and they will even open up the rooftop if requested. Truly Latin style. On a Sunday night, I was invited by an acquaintance born in Honduras and raised in Mexico to visit. The flashy exterior, interior, background music, staff, and of course the food and drinks are all Latin-themed!! The main dishes are hearty meat dishes (they call it Asado), along with oversized fried dumplings (they call it Empanada) and fried cassava (which is the raw material for tapioca), all things that you don't normally eat! The funky staff and the background music in the restaurant combined to raise the mood, I lost count of how many times we said "Cheers!" It's the perfect place for a night when you want to eat a lot of meat! Thank you!

I went to a restaurant during Golden Week. The place was almost full, so I was seated on the second floor where there was space available. I ordered a half of house red wine. It came in a decanter. First, I was served a soup as an appetizer. It was too salty to drink comfortably. Next, I had a salad with watercress and big mushrooms. It had thin slices of Parmesan cheese, which added a nice texture and paired well with the wine. I also tried a popular South American dish, empanadas stuffed with meat, which was quite delicious. Then, I had Argentine-style braised beef shank in red wine. It was a bit salty, but the flavor was good. I also tried fried South American cassava with garlic aioli sauce, which was a perfect match. Lastly, I had grilled bone-in ribeye with grilled vegetables. It came with two herb sauces, including chimichurri. The meat was served on a hot iron plate, but the fat was a bit overpowering. Each dish was finished with a sprinkle of flavorful rock salt, but on this day, the saltiness was strong and made everything taste similar. It was a fun restaurant with a South American vibe, but I couldn't help but feel that some dishes were hit or miss.

More than 10 years ago, I had an amazing red wine-braised beef shank dish that left a lasting impression, but unfortunately, I didn't have any record of the restaurant. Since I started uploading reviews on Tabelog, I saved a draft to revisit the place if I had the chance. This time, my expectations were met once again, and I look forward to trying the meat pie and the Patagonian seafood hot pot next time. I made a reservation for 2 pm on the 23rd, a holiday, by phone. The restaurant was quiet, and we enjoyed our lunch in a peaceful atmosphere. We ordered the Argentine meat pie, fried ginkgo nuts, and a cress and big mushroom salad. The meat pie was delicious, with a slightly sweet and crispy crust filled with beef mince. The ginkgo nuts and the big mushroom were also tasty. The cress salad was fragrant and delicious. Finally, the Patagonian seafood hot pot, Kazuela de Marisco, arrived at our table. It was a tomato-based soup with mussels, scallops, shrimp, and mushrooms, full of rich seafood flavor. The waiter recommended leaving some soup to mix with butter rice at the end, which was a fantastic idea. The butter rice added a gentle touch to the hearty fisherman's stew. The wine was also excellent, with a concentrated plum flavor. The restaurant had a cafe-like atmosphere but offered a variety of South American dishes at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

The owner of a quirky wine bar said that the best meat he ever had was the Argentine beef he ate at a bistro in Paris! So, I decided to visit this place to try it out! But, to my surprise, due to the current situation with COVID-19 or import conditions, they didn't have Argentine beef! What was the point of coming all the way here?! Feeling disappointed... When I used to live near Ikejiri Ohashi, I always noticed this shiny lizard building whenever I drove by, so I was curious about it for a long time. Anyway, let's order! Cheers with some bubbly in a champagne glass. Then I randomly chose a red bottle. Interestingly, it seemed like the wine list was not enough, as I had to wait for the couple next to me to finish looking at it before it was handed to me. The food was not Argentine beef, but here's what I had: ~ASADO Argentine Grill (¥4,180)~ <Side Dishes> Empanada (Argentinian meat pie) Ceviche (seafood marinated in spicy sauce) Papas Gauchos (garlic potato fries) Salad (green seasonal vegetables) <Asado Grill> Chorizo (2 types) Beef skirt steak Beef rump steak? Costilla (bone-in beef ribs) The non-spicy chorizo had potatoes in it, which was a nice touch. The grill was hearty, and I felt like I was eating meat in a wild and gutsy way! The chimichurri sauce to drizzle over the sausages and pie, as well as the herb and onion sauce for flavor variation, were tangy and spicy, which I enjoyed. Overall, it was slightly different from what I expected, and the restaurant was a bit chaotic. I was not able to get refills of the side dishes as promised (especially the salad, which I wanted more of), so that was disappointing for someone like me who loves to eat a lot. Thank you for the meal! Maybe I'll have to go to Argentina to get the real deal, haha.

On Tanjima Street, if you go up from Matsumi Sakashita, you will find a neon sign along the street. Inside the restaurant, there are small counter seats and spacious table seats. The atmosphere is a bit dark with candlelight on the tables, giving it a stylish and mature feel. The staff, although their nationality is unclear, are clearly of Latin American descent and speak fluent Japanese. The menu offers a variety of dishes from South America such as soft tacos (Mexico), ceviche (Peru), and beef cutlets (Argentina), all of which are simple, easy to eat, and delicious. The quality of the food is subtly high, with Brazilian dishes also available. There are seats on the second and third floors, offering various ways to enjoy the restaurant. The location, somewhat secluded from the bustling city and train stations, could be a good spot for a discreet visit. Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars - Good, would consider coming back.

■Access: Kamiyama Station. This time, took a taxi from Naka-Meguro for one meter. ■Number of visits: Probably around the 20th visit. ■Purpose: Dinner with friends. ■Overview: A long-established Argentine steakhouse located on the outskirts of Shibuya, spanning from the 1st floor to the rooftop on the 4th floor. The seasoning is friendly to drinkers with a punchy flavor. Regardless of who visits, they will be impressed by the variety of menu items. While high-end steak restaurants are trending, Costa wins with its cost performance and taste. ■Menu: A la carte is the main option. ■Impression: A restaurant I visit every month. I highly recommend trying the harami steak and achigadzina. Also, the eggplant.

I liked the atmosphere around Matsumizaka, and originally wanted to try a different Italian restaurant, but it was closed so I ended up at this place. It seems like a Latin restaurant. It's hot every day, so I started with a beer and then switched to red wine to go with the meat dishes. Both were light and easy to drink. The dishes were hearty overall. They had a bold flavor with lots of salt and garlic, and the meat was in big chunks. It wasn't bad at all. The pasta had a chewy texture and was of high quality. There seems to be a tent seating on the rooftop, so I would like to try that when it cools down.
