I found a nearby place to work, so I decided to buy a bento box for lunch today! I was interested in the new release, the Karaage Kokumaru Curry Bento for 680 yen (excluding tax), so I chose that one! I chose the salt flavor for the karaage. When the bento arrived, I was surprised by how big it was! It had a huge portion even without getting the large size! The salt karaage was delicious! The coating was crispy and the meat was juicy! The seasoning was also very good. The curry was spicy but also had a hint of sweetness, making it enjoyable for both adults and children. It's been a while since I bought a bento to eat, but the karaage was so delicious that I was completely satisfied! I would like to come back and buy it again when I work nearby.

I visited on a Sunday night. It was dinner time but there were only a few customers as it was a takeout-only shop specializing in bento boxes and side dishes. I decided to buy some chicken karage, and they had three flavors: soy sauce, salt, and sweet sauce. The minimum order was 2 pieces per flavor, so I ended up getting 6 pieces in total. The karage is cooked fresh after you order and is ready in less than 5 minutes. When I got home, I found that each piece was huge and even an adult like me couldn't eat it in one bite. The chicken was tender and juicy, all made with chicken thigh meat. The coating for the soy sauce and salt flavors was crispy, while the sweet sauce was sticky. The taste was stronger in the salt and soy sauce flavors, with the sweet sauce being more on the sweet side. Eating them individually was a bit challenging, but they were perfect as a snack with some drinks.

This time, I will review the fried chicken from Tori Saburo Kirigaoka Danchi store, which makes you feel like entering when you see the red signboard, even though it's not bullfighting. <<Various fried chicken>> * Salt, Yokohama soy sauce, sweet sauce (Salt 240 yen, others 250 yen / 2 pieces) "Salt" allows you to enjoy the simplicity of chicken. It is the lineup that is the most popular and has an image that appeals to everyone. "Yokohama soy sauce" doesn't have much of a Yokohama taste, but it is well seasoned and goes well with rice. "Sweet sauce" has an aggressive seasoning, starting with sweetness and gradually becoming more salty. It's delicious! (Each piece is about twice the size of a normal piece, so it's very satisfying to eat.) They fry it when you order, so you can enjoy it hot, which is great, but on the other hand, the smell is quite strong, so you need to be prepared if you want to take it out and eat it in a closed space (such as an elevator). Thank you for the meal! Aside: Lately, I've been feeling a bit greasy, so I've mainly been eating chicken breast and tenderloin, but when it comes to fried food, "thigh" is the best and turns into a high-fat dish in one go... Before worrying about "fat content," if you're going to eat fried food, just enjoy it and don't worry about the fat content (laughs).

After the menu change, it was my first visit. The curry was no longer available. I purchased the 3-piece Karaage Bento for 550 yen and the Tamabento for 690 yen, both in regular size. The karaage was still delicious and large as usual. It seems like they raised the prices slightly, but with the cabbage, white rice, and option to buy extra, it felt worth it for those who want to eat more. I view this positively as part of SDGs. Honestly, before, the portions were so big that I would often save over half of the white rice for the next meal. This time, it looked like the portion size had decreased, but it was still filling. My growing child was satisfied, but I left almost half uneaten. I got to try the spicy tartar sauce and regular tartar sauce as a sample, and both were tasty. I would like to try the spicy tartar bento next time.

I visited after about half a year. The soy sauce fried chicken here is really delicious, and I can't forget the excitement I felt when I first tried it. Coming back after a while, it seems like the menu has changed slightly. The soy sauce fried chicken is now called garlic soy sauce instead of special soy sauce. I ordered the usual soy sauce fried chicken bento with extra rice. When I tried it, it was still delicious but the same excitement as before was missing. Maybe the taste has changed? It feels different, yet not different, maybe because it's not the first time I've tried it. Previously, the bento consisted of fried chicken, rice, and pickles, but this time, the pickles were missing and instead, there was tartar sauce in that spot. On top of the rice, there were a little bit of kelp simmered in soy sauce and spicy cod roe. It might be a welcome change for some people, but I don't like tartar sauce, so I was disappointed.

The ultimate fried chicken bento has arrived. A 5-piece bento with soy sauce flavor. The meat has a great texture. The taste is just right, not too strong. The coating is crispy and light.

This is a specialty shop that specializes in freshly fried chicken. The large pieces of chicken are hot and crispy on the outside, while moist and juicy on the inside. By making a reservation through the app before visiting, you can reduce your wait time.

It's always crowded and you may have to wait a bit, but the freshly fried crispy large chicken karaage makes you want to eat it anyway.

I made a reservation through the app at 12:55 for pick-up. The app showed a wait time of about 15 minutes, but the food was ready in just 5 minutes, which was surprisingly fast! When I got home and tried the fried chicken, it was not hot at all, and the coating was hard. I had to microwave it at home. It was almost inedible. Even though it's a specialty store, if they are just providing pre-made items, I don't think it's worth buying. I understand that there may be some pre-made items during lunchtime, but all 10+ pieces I bought were pre-made. It's not worth buying if you have to reheat it. The whole point of app reservations is to enjoy freshly fried food without waiting. I hope they reconsider their serving methods!

I bought Chicken Nanban as a side dish only (a la carte). Personally, it was delicious. I think it was 480 yen? A bit expensive but I will definitely buy it again!

I have tried all the varieties, but I like the ones with sauce on them. Sometimes I crave the taste.

I couldn't find a coin parking nearby so I came on my bike this time, as there was an issue with the smell last time. I ordered 3 pieces of half-priced deep-fried prawns for ¥380 each and 5 pieces of half-priced chicken wings for ¥150 each. To buy them at half price, I had to download an app called "Order" and order through it, which was a condition. The app allows for pre-ordering and card payment, making it convenient. I ordered before going and picked up the food. The chicken wings were large in size and coated in a sweet and savory sauce. It's recommended to eat them in an environment where you can wipe your hands or wash them as they can get sticky. The deep-fried prawns were huge, about the size of two IQOS devices. They came with tartar sauce that was unique, containing imitation crab, scallops, a quarter-cut boiled egg, similar to a Southern island dressing. I later found out that the tartar sauce is sold separately for ¥50, making the deep-fried prawns essentially ¥140 each. I felt like I got a great deal!

There is no coin parking nearby, so it might be good to go by bike or bicycle. I ordered 5 pieces of deep-fried chicken with soy sauce flavor for ¥600 and 2 pieces of deep-fried chicken with salt flavor for ¥240. When you place an order, you will be given a food ticket with a number written on it. The food is fried after the order is placed. The soy sauce flavor is slightly more expensive than the salt flavor. Buying more pieces will give you a slightly better deal. Both flavors are delicious, but personally, I recommend the salt flavor. The size is about 2/3 to 3/4 the size of FamilyMart's Famichiki or Seven's fried chicken. It's quite large. The flavor is quite strong with garlic. The deep-fried chicken with salt and soy sauce flavors are each placed in a paper bag and then put together in a plastic bag. Moreover, since they are freshly fried, the paper bag is left open in the plastic bag to prevent them from getting soggy due to steam. One thing to be careful of when going to buy by car is the smell. It takes about 15 minutes from the store, but the car will be filled with the smell of deep-fried chicken (laughs).

This crowded place caught my attention, so I stopped by to check it out. It turned out to be a takeout shop that only sells fried food. The smell of oil was so inviting as I approached the shop. I couldn't resist and ended up buying some. I ordered the Yokohama soy sauce flavored fried chicken (5 pieces for 600 yen) and the salt flavored fried chicken (5 pieces for 550 yen). After paying, I was given a ticket with a number, and then waited for my freshly fried chicken. It took a while, but it was worth the wait. The fried chicken was piping hot, with a crispy coating and juicy chicken meat. Personally, I preferred the Yokohama soy sauce flavor over the salt flavor.

The early morning hours just past 5 o'clock saw a light drizzle, but as it nears noon, the weather is clear and the breeze feels pleasant in Akabane on this Friday in March. "Pitopito Seijin" Ichigou has finished work in Kita-Akabane and is now heading back to the office. It's lunchtime and the usual crowded restaurant with long lines seems empty today. Let's buy something to take home. It's "Torisaburo," a takeout fried food specialty store. Singing along to Spitz's "Robinson," the middle-aged alien enters the store. Inside the store, three elderly, or rather mature, women are frying various items, including chicken. Today's order is the "Soy Sauce Fried Chicken Bento (4 pieces)" for 630 yen (with extra rice). The bento includes fried chicken, cabbage, and rice with a simple side of pickles. The fried chicken is marinated in a soy sauce base with garlic and ginger, which makes it delicious. However, with the extra rice, four pieces of chicken may not be enough. Those who order extra rice may want to go for 5-6 pieces. It was a satisfying meal, and I will definitely come back for more. "In our own little country where no one else can touch us, I'll hold your hand tight." What did Ichigou have for lunch today? The pondering continues for Ichigou, pitopito, pitopito.

I love fried chicken, so whenever I come across a freshly fried chicken shop, I can't help but stop by. They offer soy sauce fried chicken for 2 pieces at 250 yen, and salt fried chicken for 2 pieces at 240 yen. The prices are discounted when you order more, with 10 pieces costing 980 yen and 950 yen each. The chicken pieces are fried right after you order, and they are scooped out of the fryer onto a gold sieve to drain the oil. The pieces are quite large and made with juicy chicken thigh meat. The crispy coating is the best part, providing a great texture. I definitely want to visit this place again. It seems like they use Yokohama soy sauce, the only soy sauce maker in Yokohama. This shop is operated by Toridoll. The fact that there are always customers, likely residents of the housing complex, coming in shows that their marketing strategy is successful.

On a certain holiday, I visited a place in the northern district to mourn my late beloved cat of nearly 18 years. As I was heading towards the location with little knowledge of the area and a heavy heart, I came across a flashy signboard. "Fried Chicken" ... one of my favorite foods! I quickly entered the restaurant and ordered 2 pieces of soy sauce fried chicken. To my surprise, they fried it right in front of me! The place was filled with a wonderful aroma, making me eagerly anticipate my meal. And when I finally paid for it, I was handed a huge portion! I couldn't resist and dug in right there... It was delicious!! Freshly fried, juicy, and piping hot, I could truly savor the essence of fried chicken.
