It had been a while since I entered this Takashimaya, and as I wandered through the labyrinth, I finally reached the gelato shop. I ordered a flavor that was part of their increased portion service, and as I tasted it, I was struck by the smooth texture, viscosity, and the saltiness and unique coolness that lingered in my nose. Expressing the taste of ice cream is as difficult as snow melting in the palm of your hand. This ice cream went beyond being just a good Takashimaya ice cream, it had a definite deliciousness to it.

・It's sweets time at Panchera located on the basement floor of Shinjuku Takashimaya. This is the first stop on the Takashimaya Top 100 Stores tour. ・Ordered the No.1 popular Ocean Gelato and the Best Selection rich soy milk from Fukaya, Saitama. The soy milk has a simple taste that lets you feel the soybeans. The Ocean Gelato, with its base of vanilla, is greatly enhanced by the salt, making it rich and incredibly delicious. It's a taste that makes you want to keep eating. Thank you for the meal♪

I visited Premium Mario Gelateria at Isetan Shinjuku store. I was a bit wary of ice cream shops in department stores in Shinjuku after a bad experience, but I decided to give this place a try. I ordered Cassis and Yogurt flavors. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. I really appreciate it. I love Takashimaya... Why does everyone at Isetan seem so high and mighty? I think I'll be a Takashimaya kid from now on. The gelato here is soft and fluffy, unlike the one at Isetan which was too hard. I'm sorry for being cautious. The Cassis flavor is packed with a sweet and sour taste that I love. It's so delicious, I want a bucket full of it. The Yogurt flavor is also amazing, capturing the true taste of yogurt in an ice cream form. It's rich yet refreshing, probably because it doesn't have any unnecessary additives. I love the slight sweetness and acidity of the yogurt. It's so delicious, I want to try the original yogurt now. It's really, really delicious. I love it.

On Monday, September 11th at 11:35 AM, I purchased a double scoop of gelato without lining up. The price was 780 yen for a combination of Classic (sea) and Premium (Tochiotome Strawberry) flavors. The gelato is divided into three ranks: Classic, Premium, and Super Premium, with prices varying depending on the selection for a double scoop. Additionally, whether you choose to eat in or take out also affects the price. This time, I chose Classic + Premium flavors to enjoy in the store, costing 780 yen.

I went on a tour of the top 100 ice cream and gelato shops. I visited this shop located on the 1st floor of Shinjuku Takashimaya. There are several benches in front of the shop, so you can sit and eat there. It was a holiday snack time, so it was crowded with customers. I ordered a double gelato (premium + classic) for 780 yen, with candied chestnut (premium) and macadamia (classic). The gelato felt heavy when I held it in my hand. It had a good volume, which made me happy! It was sticky and had a gradually spreading cool sensation that was pleasant. The chestnut had a gentle flavor, not too sweet, and elegant. It had whole chestnuts from Italy, giving a luxurious feeling. It's apparently soaked in syrup, but the pieces were small so I couldn't really tell. The macadamia had chunky macadamia nuts and chocolate chips in a refreshing milk gelato. The crunchy texture was enjoyable. It was sweet but had a refreshing aftertaste and was delicious. The gelato was sticky, smooth, and had a sake flavor called "Nanaken." It's a rare find and a recommended gelato to enjoy after shopping at a department store. (*˘︶˘*).。*♡

I visited Gelatria in Shinjuku Takashimaya B1, which is one of the top 100 ice cream and gelato shops in Japan. It's a bit hard to find near the vegetable section and elevator. The prices are a bit high, especially for a double scoop. They offer three types of flavors: Classic (regular), Premium (high-end), and Super Premium (top-tier), with prices varying depending on the choice. A double scoop can cost over 1000 yen depending on the combination. There are chairs lined up next to the shop for eating in. What I had: - Double scoop (Classic x Premium): I chose the classic milk flavor and the premium Yamanashi peach flavor. The peach was refreshing and tasted just like fresh peach, not too intense but rich and smooth. The milk flavor was also delicious with a gentle sweetness. I wish the scoops were a bit larger for a double scoop, but overall it was a tasty experience.

On Saturday morning, around 11:40, I went to this shop located on the basement floor of Shinjuku Takashimaya. There was no wait, so I easily purchased the popular No. 1 sea salt gelato for 520 yen and enjoyed it on the bench outside the shop. There was a trash can nearby, which was convenient. The gelato was sweet with a hint of saltiness, not too crunchy or icy, but rather smooth and slightly stretchy. It was very delicious! Thank you for the meal. I will definitely go again.

I visited after dinner. I shared an ice cream with my friend. There were chairs lined up next to the shop, with one chair per item for one person to sit. However, we both sat on one chair. I'm sorry. The price felt a bit high, but it was quite delicious.

Shinjuku Takashimaya B1F food section gelato shop. Selected as one of the "Tabelog Ice Cream/Gelato Top 100 Stores 2023". I had the Sea Gelato and Rum Raisin double scoop (670 yen). It was smooth, creamy, and delicious! The flavors seem to change, so I would like to go back again. Money spent: 670 yen Rating: 4.5 points 5 points: Definitely want to revisit! 4 points: Would revisit if the opportunity arises! 3 points: Would be okay to revisit. 2 points: Once is enough. 1 point: No need to go.

I went to Panchera in the basement of Tokyo Shinjuku Takashimaya, which is a famous ice cream shop. I ordered the popular No.1 Sea Salt and Chestnut flavors. The Sea Salt flavor was really delicious! The Chestnut flavor, being expensive, had lots of crushed chestnuts in it. I prefer a smoother texture like Mont Blanc, but the Sea Salt flavor was really good.

After finishing a meeting in Shinjuku and regretting my tight schedule, I hurried to visit the gelato shop, Panchera, that I had bookmarked since I didn't have time for lunch. I knew it was located in the basement of Takashimaya, but I couldn't find it. I wondered if they had moved. However, after looking at the store map, I found out that it was actually in the prepared food section. It was located past the tempura and seafood bowl area. There were two customers ahead of me, and there were about 8 chairs available for dining in. The flavors available were quite numerous, with about 10 flavors always on offer. I wanted to try the chocolate flavors, but they seemed to be unavailable, so I ordered the popular pistachio and rich vanilla flavors. The gelato was served in about a minute. The presentation was meticulous and I appreciated the attention to detail. The rich creamy vanilla, listed as the 3rd most popular, had a strong aroma even before tasting it. It had a soft texture and a strong milk flavor. The richness and slow melting texture in the mouth were delightful. The Sicilian Bronte village pistachio, listed as the most popular, also had a stretchy texture. It had a bitter sweetness and a slightly astringent taste, which was subtly balanced. The combination with the vanilla was also excellent. The gelato was quite delicious. The location and dining options may have some limitations, but the price was a bit on the higher side. Depending on the flavors, a cup with two scoops costing 940 yen might seem pricey to some, almost like a lunch. Personally, I find the location convenient and there were other flavors that caught my interest, so I would like to visit again.

I visited Punchella, located a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, with my friend as part of our Saturday's top 100 store tour. This was our first stop to earn the rare Ice Gelato Top 100 Store badge located in the basement of Shinjuku Takashimaya. The shop had seating available for eating in, but no tables. We decided to eat in and ordered a double serving. The flavors we chose were Sicilian Bronte Village Pistachio, the most popular flavor, made from the world's highest quality pistachios from Sicily, and Ocean Gelato (Salt), the second most popular flavor, made with Italian sea salt and flavored with Blue Curaçao. The pistachio flavor was rich and tasted like being in a pistachio field, while the salt flavor was just right, enhancing the sweetness of the pistachio. Overall, the experience was smooth, and we were able to order without any issues. The flavors were delicious, and we were able to earn the Ice Gelato Top 100 Store badge. It was a great meal!

This is a gelato shop located on the B1F of Shinjuku Takashimaya. I stopped by while visiting for another reason. I thought it would be a cozy cafe-like place to eat, but it was just like any other store in the department store basement. Plus, there was a place to eat in front of the elevator, so it felt a bit awkward. Well, the eating area was just a row of pipe chairs in the hallway. Despite the heat, there were a decent number of people, maybe 4-5 in line, so I decided to wait. The gelato comes in three ranks: Classic, Premium, and Super Premium, with prices varying based on the combination. So, even for a double scoop, there are 6 price options. I chose my favorites based on my cravings, and this time both were Premium. After paying at the register on the left side of the showcase, I waited at the pick-up window on the right side. Once I received my order, I luckily found an empty chair and sat down to enjoy it! Now, as for the taste... The Rich Creamy Vanilla had many black specks, likely vanilla beans, and it lived up to its rich flavor as advertised. It was delicious! The Tochiotome from Tochigi Prefecture was more like a strawberry milk ice cream than just strawberry. It had lots of fruit chunks inside, adding a different taste and texture. It may be a bit pricey, but it was a tasty gelato. They accept PayPay as a payment option.

- Sea Salt Gelato (Single) ¥510 [Taste] Very rich and delicious, although I couldn't really taste the sea. [Value for Money] It was tasty, but for this price, with this taste and portion, I thought I might as well go for store-bought ice cream.

There is always a gelato shop in the basement of department stores, right? I hadn't been to this one before. I stopped by while buying Japanese sweets. I chose the Sea Gelato (salt) and Candied Chestnut. It was written that they use Italian chestnuts for the candied chestnuts. It tastes like Marron Glacé. The Sea Gelato wasn't actually salty (lol).

940 yen for a double scoop! I chose pistachio and chestnut, which cost 940 yen. The pistachio is from Sicily, Bronte village, and the chestnut is Italian chestnuts in syrup. The gelato here has a smooth and fluffy texture that melts in your mouth. The chestnut didn't have as many chestnut pieces as expected, and the pistachio was a bit rough but lacked the nutty flavor. Despite the high price, I was not fully satisfied. This was because I chose the premium and super premium options, such as the super premium pistachio and the premium candied chestnut, which come with additional charges. There were no classic flavors that caught my attention. The classic flavors include ramune, yogurt, black sesame, chocolate chip, and milk. Overall, it was a satisfying experience. They have chairs for sitting and enjoying your gelato. By the way, this store is ranked in the top 100 gelato shops in Japan!

Located a 3-5 minute walk from Shinjuku Station, Punchella Shinjuku Takashimaya store is a gelato specialty shop with a somewhat retro atmosphere. It has been selected as one of the top 100 ice cream and gelato shops in 2023. The prices are quite high and somewhat unclear, with some gelato flavors costing nearly 800 yen for a single scoop and over 1,000 yen for a double scoop. I tried the classic Ramune flavor, which had refreshing sweetness with Ramune candy pieces. The combination of the clear sweetness of Ramune and the fizzy flavor of the candy pieces was delicious as expected! If you're shopping at Shinjuku Takashimaya and want to enjoy gelato on your way home, be sure to visit this shop. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by here as I had a little time in Shinjuku in the evening ✨✨ It's convenient being inside a department store, isn't it? ✨✨❣️ Today, I had the super premium Sicilian pistachio gelato from Bronte Village that I've been wanting to try, along with my favorite rum and golden raisin in a double scoop. I was looking forward to trying this pistachio gelato as it's the most famous super premium flavor. It wasn't as intense in pistachio flavor as I had imagined, but the deliciousness was exceptional ✨✨ And this gelato has a very stretchy texture. Rum raisin is always delicious no matter where you have it ( ˶>ᴗ<˶) There are about 4 seats on each side, and they even provide chairs for those who want to enjoy their gelato here d('∀'*) Thank you for the meal ✨✨❣️

Located in the B1F of Shinjuku Takashimaya, this gelato shop can be found easily by aiming for the toilets in the spacious underground area. The Double 830 Sea Gelato Pistachio Sea Gelato has just the right amount of saltiness and a texture that melts in your mouth. The pistachio flavor is thick and smooth, leaving a rich taste that lingers in your mouth.
