I thought it was already over, but there was zunda soft serve ice cream. The moment I held it, I was delighted by its substantial weight. The generous and simple sweetness of zunda, along with the soft serve ice cream that also brings out the sweetness of milk (as expected from Ko-Iwai), created a very nice harmony. The additional black syrup, which was sweeter than I had imagined, served as a good accent to the simple zunda and soft serve ice cream. I would like to try seasonal soft serve ice cream again. Thank you for the meal.

I had some time before transferring to the Shinkansen, so I wandered around Tokyo Station and decided to visit this shop. It was around 12:45 pm on a Sunday, with one person in line ahead of me and two people behind me. I purchased a Soft Serve Ice Cream (490 yen) in a cup. Although the seating area in the Echika shared space was full, I enjoyed my ice cream while standing. The ice cream was made with fresh and rich milk, giving it a creamy and refreshing taste with a subtle sweetness. There were some small bits of milk fat left, but overall, it had a smooth texture and was delicious. The cookie served alongside was a nice touch. It was a bit disappointing to find a hollow center in the soft serve, but it was still enjoyable. Thank you for the meal!

In JR Tokyo Station, there is a corner inside Ecute called "Koiwai Farm Ecute Tokyo Station Store." It is located just before the Shinkansen boarding area and sells bento boxes, sandwiches, and snacks. There is a small seating area available for 30 minutes, and please note that takeout is subject to an 8% tax rate while dining in incurs a 10% tax rate. They also offer soft serve ice cream and pudding. On a hot day, I decided to cool off by getting some soft serve ice cream. They mentioned that you can add additional syrup to make it an affogato, so I added matcha syrup. I enjoyed it in the seating area. The seating area is a shared space within Ecute, so there is a note saying to limit your use to 30 minutes. Given the busy Tokyo Station, it's important to follow these rules. My visit was only about 10 minutes (laughs). Just being able to sit down and eat made a big difference! There are standing counters with outlets for charging your devices. Thank you for the meal.

Inside Tokyo Station, there is a shop where you can enjoy ice cream. On a hot summer day, I visited with my friends while transferring at Tokyo Station. I tried the soft serve for 490 yen, and I preferred it in a cup. The ice cream had a rich milk flavor and wasn't too sweet, just full of milk goodness! It was really delicious and I loved it! I also tried the Coffee Float for 680 yen, which combines coffee and ice cream. The combination of milk ice cream and coffee creates a latte-like flavor. I think Koiwai is a brand known for its milk, and the ice cream had a distinct milk taste. It was so delicious!

I couldn't resist trying the limited edition zunda soft serve at Tokyo Station after reading an article about it. I got off the train and headed straight for it - zunda soft serve on the way there, and zunda soft serve again inside the ticket gate on my way back. It was the best summer ever! The zunda and shiratama parfait ranked 5th in the Tokyo Station Ice Cream Election. Although it was only available in August, you can now add zunda topping for an additional charge starting in September! You can also add black honey for an extra charge - how wonderful! The staff who served me was lively and piled on the toppings while commentating, making the experience enjoyable. The portion was surprisingly larger than in the photos (which made me happy). I usually prefer just the ice cream itself and not the toppings, but I couldn't resist trying the zunda topping. The milk soft serve was delicious, with no off-flavors. The zunda topping seemed carefully crafted, with the refreshing, slightly bluish scent typical of zunda coming through nicely. It was delicious! I highly recommend trying the toppings!

When I hear "limited time offer," I can't help but indulge in it. This time, I tried the zunda parfait. The combination of zunda and kinako was great! There were also two pieces of shiratama mochi. Black syrup came out from the bottom. Oh, I wish I had asked them to leave it out. The sweetness lingered in my mouth at the end. If I have the chance to try it again, I'll make sure to ask them to leave it out.

This is a small Iwai shop with an eat-in area inside Tokyo Station. Although there are many soft serve ice cream options, the one here is really delicious. It might be the best around Tokyo Station, surpassing the Marunouchi Building's Machimura Farm. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Visited around 1 pm on Sunday.
Coffee Float for 680 yen.
It was hot, so I wanted something cold and ended up here. Located in the South Court Ecute inside Tokyo Station. Be careful as there are two Ecute locations inside the station. You can enjoy the rich soft serve ice cream from Koiwai Farm. It's a bit pricey, but the portion is generous. The name Koiwai Farm comes from the three founders' names (Ono, Iwasaki, Inoue). Thank you for the meal.

In a corner of the ecute on the Marunouchi South Exit side of Tokyo Station, there is a shop where you can also eat in. Today, I ordered a cup of soft serve ice cream for 490 yen. The cup was bigger than I expected and filled with plenty of soft serve ice cream. It had a strong milk flavor but was a relatively light type of soft serve. It's nice to have something cold on a hot day. I enjoyed it until the end. Thank you for the meal.

I love Ko-Iwai Farm. I got a rich cream puff and a yogurt to go, and enjoyed them on the Shinkansen. The staff recommended a yogurt that wasn't too sweet, which was a good choice. It had a nice balance of sweetness and acidity, and paired well with the cream puff.

This is a shop located in Ecute inside Tokyo Station. I visited on a weekday afternoon. Despite it being a weekday, Tokyo Station was bustling with tourists, and there were a few people lined up at this shop as well. I purchased soft serve ice cream on this day. I enjoyed it at a nearby seat. The soft serve ice cream was very rich and smooth. It also had a substantial weight to it. It's nice to be able to easily enjoy it at the station.

[Date] Visited on Saturday at 4:00 PM alone.
[Reservation] Not made. Waited for 5 minutes before purchasing. There was a long line.
[Dining Location] Inside Tokyo Station at Echika.
[Interior] Tables. The seating area was full, with some people eating while standing.
[Order] Coffee Float - Iced coffee topped with soft serve ice cream. The soft serve ice cream was delicious, but nothing particularly special. It's a good choice when you're craving something sweet. I was hoping for more of a milk flavor or some unique feature since it's from Koiwai Farm, so that was a bit disappointing. The coffee was also just average. Overall, it was a satisfying treat!
[Service] The staff were efficient and friendly.
[Final Thoughts] Recommended when you want to quickly satisfy your sweet tooth!

I went to Jichiro, a famous Baumkuchen shop at Ecute Tokyo, but they were sold out of Baumkuchen, which was disappointing. However, I found a delicious treat at the direct store of Ko-Iwai Farm while walking around Ecute Tokyo - the "Strawberry Custard Soft Serve." It consisted of soft serve ice cream topped with custard cream, sweet and sour strawberry jam paste, and cookies. It was delicious and cost ¥790.

I was tired from work and finally spring break is over and Tokyo Station is starting to feel less crowded. I wandered around the station during my transfer and came across Koiwai Farm! It's small but they have seating! They even have affogato on the menu! I couldn't resist ordering it. The coffee bitterness was great, and the soft serve was generous and satisfying. It was so delicious. Now I feel energized to make it home!

I really wanted to have soft serve ice cream on my way back home! The soft serve ice cream in a cone costs ¥490. It's from Ko-Iwai Farm, so it has a rich milk flavor. The cookie also has a delicious buttery taste! I even felt like buying just the cookie. However, towards the end, it got a bit too sweet, and the center had a hollow space. Considering the price is close to 500 yen, I wish they could have given a bit more. But it was delicious!

Dessert shopping on the way back from a trip. My child requested pudding. Custard pudding @390 yen Pudding in a jar with a lid. A firm and rich pudding. It has a creamy texture from the fresh cream, with a rich sweetness from the high milk content. It was thick and creamy, allowing me to fully enjoy the richness of the milk.

I tried the limited-time sweet potato soft serve ice cream. I was torn between that and the Mont Blanc flavor, but I ended up choosing the sweet potato because it had chestnuts on top. The sweet potato flavor was not too sweet and had a good amount of richness. While I was enjoying it at the counter, I noticed an elderly man next to me enjoying the Mont Blanc soft serve, which also looked delicious.

If you want to eat soft serve ice cream at Tokyo Station or in the Ginza area, then at Tokyo Station, go for the soft serve ice cream from Ko-Iwai Farm! In Ginza (Kyobashi), I think the soft serve ice cream from Boul'Mich is the best in terms of price and taste. You can cover everything around Tokyo Station, so you can have dinner and dessert right outside the Tokyo Station gates. I try to avoid sweets, but when traveling, dining with others, or on weekends, I go all out! However, I try not to overeat. On this day, I had already eaten a Zucotto at Fruit Orchard Liebel. Despite that, I spontaneously went to Ko-Iwai Farm in the station to have soft serve ice cream alone. I haven't posted a review, but I've probably had it more than 20 times. The portion is generous, and the soft serve ice cream, waffle cone, and cookie topping are incredibly delicious! Oh, it's so good. Why do sweets make us so happy? I'm really trying hard to resist sweets. I usually go without sweets for four days a week. Instead, I endure with fruits like bananas and persimmons. Oh, I deeply realize that I really love sweet things. Sweets are such a sin. Just how much of a sweets paradise is it around Tokyo Station! Everyone is tempting me.

After arriving at Tokyo Station on the Shinkansen, I was feeling a bit peckish and had 3 pieces of PAOPAO's shumai before trying their soft serve ice cream. As a result, the sugar intake helped me feel refreshed and relieved the fatigue. The texture was thick and slightly firm, providing a satisfying fullness after eating. It wasn't overly rich or sweet, just the right balance. While there are soft serves out there that are overly creamy and rich, this one was just right for post-travel fatigue. The slightly thick biscuit provided a nice crunch. There is a counter where you can take a break.

When passing through Tokyo Station, I came across a Mont Blanc flavor that I love! I immediately ordered it. The chestnut paste is normal, but the soft serve is delicious. It's also nice to have candied chestnuts on top. Next time, I plan to go try their simple soft serve.
