JA Zen-Noh Meat Foods directly managed store slogan is "Peace of mind and safety." Although this was my first visit to the Kita-Senju store, I have a memory of going to the Otemachi store a long time ago and it was delicious. I decided to go for the all-you-can-drink set menu for 5,000 yen per person. The clean and spacious store interior was welcoming. The meat selections included beef, pork, and chicken, all of which were fresh and delicious. The beef was served in various cuts and was tasty, although it was not marinated in sauce but served without it, which may be a matter of personal preference. When it comes to yakiniku, I still prefer the old-fashioned style. Everyone has their own preferences, right?

This is a yakiniku restaurant operated by the JA Zen-Noh Group, located in the Marui restaurant street directly connected to Kita-Senju. I visited this restaurant for the first time during a weekend shopping trip to Marui. The lunch set I ordered included the daily special "Tomo" (1480 yen) with a half serving of bibimbap (400 yen), along with a lunch glass of beer (300 yen). The lunch set features carefully selected black wagyu beef from their own factory, and even the cheapest menu item includes wagyu beef offcuts at this price. Despite wanting to indulge in extra meat and alcohol, I opted for a quick meal and changed the rice to a half serving of bibimbap. The lunch beer was served promptly, and the yakiniku lunch set was quickly presented as well. The set includes meat, salad, wakame soup, kimchi, and namul, offering great value for the price. The bibimbap was surprisingly filling, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The marinade added a nice touch to the meat, making it a great pairing with rice and bibimbap. I also ordered a lemon sour halfway through the meal. The wakame soup and kimchi provided a refreshing finish to the satisfying lunch. The total bill came to just under 3000 yen, making it a great value for the quality of food. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the value for money at this restaurant. They seem to prioritize food safety, making it a good option for families as well. I look forward to visiting again, possibly with my family next time.

I visited for lunch. I had been here before but didn't have a strong impression. Today, the food was delicious. The thinly sliced salted beef tongue was just right and crispy. The service was also very polite. It was a pleasant experience. It's located inside Marui, but Epos points cannot be used.

A restaurant run by Zen-Noh. Despite its convenient location near the station, the prices are reasonable, making it a good value for money. However, the presentation of the restaurant is lacking, making it difficult to understand what the specialty is. The side dishes are delicious, and the drinks are served in good condition, so it may be helpful to have a signboard for recommended menu items. As it is a yakiniku restaurant, it stands out from the typical smoky atmosphere, so it may struggle in the deep north of Senju. However, if you know about it, it can be a hidden gem, so I will visit again when I crave yakiniku near Kitasenju Station! Thank you for the meal!

I bought the GoToEat digital meal vouchers but had trouble using them at the restaurants I wanted to go to. Although I didn't initially have a strong desire to visit this restaurant, I found out that I could use the vouchers here. As a result, I was extremely satisfied! It was delicious!! So glad I came here!!

Last time I came for lunch, so this time I visited for dinner. Every type of meat had a rich flavor and was very tender and delicious. The liver was also very tender and had a sweet taste, which was nice. It was a shame that the tripe was sold out. We had a great meal with my family. Thank you for the delicious food!

Today's daily lunch special, Tomoe, featured black wagyu beef sliced cuts, while Hana had black wagyu beef kalbi and red meat. The shop is very clean and has a sense of cleanliness. The beef is truly delicious♪♪ They offer a meat extra-large portion option, which is 1.5 times the regular serving. Unfortunately, I had to refrain from having beer since I was driving (;ω;)

It was Father's Day, so I went to Ueno with my daughter for some real daddy-daughter time to buy her clothes. Unfortunately, there was no stock in Ueno, but they had it in Kita-Senju, so we headed there. We managed to get what we needed and even went to a few other stores to buy more clothes. Along the way, my wife, who was working, joined us and we decided to grab a bite to eat before heading home. My daughter surprisingly wanted to have yakiniku, so we called a few places but they were all fully booked. We ended up at this place, which also seemed full, but we only had to wait for about 15 minutes before being seated. In our family, we only eat tongue and maybe some skirt steak when it comes to yakiniku. The menu indicated that most of the meat was from Australia, despite being labeled as JA direct. We ordered two servings of bean sprout namul for 420 yen each. It seems like bean sprout namul is always served in small portions at any restaurant. Maybe it's the most profitable dish. We also ordered the Pyua salad for 980 yen, thick-cut tongue with salt for 2380 yen, lettuce for 480 yen, special skirt steak for 2380 yen, lean grilled shabu-shabu for 1680 yen (both the skirt steak and shabu-shabu were made from domestic beef), green onion beef tongue with salt for 1780 yen, and beef tongue with salt for 1580 yen. The thin sliced tongue with salt still had a slightly frozen texture. We also tried the cold noodles for 980 yen, which were similar to Morioka cold noodles rather than the Pyongyang style made from buckwheat flour. For drinks, we had lemon sour for 420 yen, three square highballs for 430 yen each, and black oolong tea for 400 yen. Well, that's about it. I suggested going to a tongue specialty restaurant if she only wanted to eat tongue, but she was in the mood for yakiniku, so we ended up here.

The restaurant I wanted to go to was closed, so I went to the restaurant floor at Marui with my children. They wanted to eat yakiniku, so we tried it for the first time. We ordered the New Year's limited lunch special. The lean meat was tender and delicious. My daughter ordered stone bibimbap, but the rice was a bit dry. However, the kids were satisfied with the meal. There were various single items and set menus available, so I would like to visit again next time, maybe in the evening.

They are committed to using only domestic ingredients such as beef, pork, chicken, offal, rice, and vegetables. Popular items include the perfectly sweet and savory Wagyu kalbi, juicy domestic harami, tender and healthy Wagyu thigh meat, and premium tongue salt. Each lunch set comes with a selection of Black Wagyu special loin, Kimchi, Namul, and free rice refills. Upon entering and stating that I was dining alone, I was seated at a table. Although there are around 62 seats, it was quite empty at this time. Looking at the menu, Daily Lunch A is 1,100 yen, B is 1,700 yen, and C is 2,300 yen. I pondered whether it was more worth it to add a large portion of meat for 300 yen in A or to go for B... The Daily Lunch B at 1,700 yen had well-marbled, generously sliced lean meat in five portions. The meat was tender with the sinew properly trimmed. I felt satisfied beyond the price point. Additionally, the evening all-you-can-drink party course seems intriguing.

Yesterday's lunch. It was hot outside and I didn't feel like going out, but I wanted to get a nutritious meal. So, I decided to try a yakiniku restaurant called "Yakiniku Honpo Pyua JA no Sanchi kara" located on the restaurant floor of Marui. You can choose from the grand menu, but the daily lunch set is a good deal. I had been to this place a few times when it was a different yakiniku restaurant, but this was my first time since it was renovated. The interior has a woody feel and looks like a cafe at first glance. The daily lunch special yesterday included A - 90g of black wagyu beef offcuts (1100 yen), B - 130g of black wagyu beef lean meat (1700 yen), and C - 90g of premium black wagyu beef loin (2300 yen). When you order a lunch menu, you can also order a mini yakiniku. So this time, I ordered the B lean meat 130g with beef tongue (380 yen). They mentioned a drink service if you post pictures or videos on Instagram, but I thought, "Well, I don't need to go that far..." and decided not to do it. (^_^;) Now, the B daily lunch and beef tongue have arrived. Rice, namul, and kimchi are free refills. The namul and kimchi portions are small, so you can have as many refills as you want. (laughs) The wakame soup was delicious, and the rice was cooked with Akita Komachi, making it moist and fluffy. The 130g of black wagyu beef lean meat came in 8 slices, cut thick for a satisfying bite. However, the mini yakiniku was really "mini," with only 3 slices. One slice of beef tongue costs 130 yen... (´Д`) Let's start preparing to eat with the table sauce and secret addictive miso. In the meantime, let's cook the meat... Now, the cooked meat is ready to be topped with yangnyeom and miso! The meat is a bit chewy, but the miso is delicious. It has a hint of garlic, and it makes you want to eat two bowls of rice with just this. The yangnyeom sauce was also tasty. It goes well with rice too. I finished the kimchi and namul so quickly that I asked for a refill, which also disappeared quickly. They then brought a slightly larger plate. The crunchy bean sprout namul was delicious. And the black wagyu beef lean meat was still a bit chewy. The beef tongue was... also a bit tough. There was no unpleasant smell, but... Eating yakiniku always makes me crave beer. And for me, the amount was definitely not enough. I was left with a feeling of "not being satisfied." This time, I went to Kitasenju with my friends to eat yakiniku. However, it was raining heavily and cold, so we lost our motivation and decided to eat at Puyasan on the 9th floor of Marui department store. I had heard from locals that Puyasan was popular, so my expectations were high. We ordered a lot of dishes such as tongue salt, mino sandwich, harami, tsurami, and kimchi platter. However, everyone agreed that the kimchi was the most delicious (laughs). The tongue salt and harami were okay, but the rest didn't leave much of an impression. We ended up just drinking and refilling our glasses with beer. Since I didn't take many photos, I'll just share the tsurami and kimchi. I guess yakiniku is better at street stalls after all.

Visited Yakiniku Honpo "Pyua" for the first time. Ordered the Black Wagyu lean lunch set, and being a JA Zenno direct store, the quality of all ingredients, especially the meat, was excellent. This time, I had lean meat with little fat, which had a great texture, good quality, and just the right amount of marbling, making it incredibly delicious! Also ordered the beef ramen as an extra, which had a gentle flavor and was delicious.

I entered the restaurant just after 2 pm on a Sunday for lunch, and due to the effects of the coronavirus, the place was not very crowded. The seating consisted mostly of 4-person tables, with one in the middle left empty to maintain social distancing. We ordered the "Black Wagyu Kalbi Lunch" and the "Salted Beef Tongue" as a side dish. The lunch arrived, and the meat looked delicious! The option for rice refills was also a nice touch. The restaurant had a unique ventilation system for grilling the meat, and the staff were attentive and accommodating. The best part was when they informed us of the last order for lunch, and when I wanted more rice but hadn't finished what I had, they kindly assured me that I could order more whenever I was ready. Overall, the lunch was a bit pricey but worth it for the delicious meat and excellent service. I would definitely consider coming back for another luxurious meal in the future.

The interior had mostly 2-seater and 4-seater tables, with music playing. I ordered the Black Wagyu Beef Assorted Lunch for 1700 yen (excluding tax). Positive points: Good service. The lunch set included salad, soup, rice, namul and kimchi, and two types of meat - short rib and loin. The short rib had a bit too much fat, making it a bit heavy. The loin had a slightly chewy texture. Negative points: The salad was a bit dry, the soup was a bit strong, and the rice was soft with unclear contours. The amount of meat was small, which was fine for me, but it might not be enough for others. Personally, I prefer meat with less fat, so I found both types a bit heavy. Overall, I think the meat would be fine for others. Thank you for the meal.

It's very convenient for meeting up because it's located in Marui. It's not crowded on weekdays. The seats are separated by curtain-like dividers, giving a sense of privacy. It's non-smoking, which is nice. They offer a variety of meat cuts and explain them carefully. All the meats were tender and delicious. Ordering a set of 3 or 4 meats comes with explanations for each cut, which is enjoyable. With its relaxing atmosphere, tasty meat, and attentive service, it's a great restaurant that I would like to visit again.

There is a restaurant called 千寿万彩 on the 9th floor of Marui in Kitasenju. It was still early for dinner, so there were few customers and we were guided to a semi-private raised seating area. We ordered the luxurious black wagyu beef feast, kimchi assortment, and chorogi salad from the menu. After a while, the seven kinds of beef feast was brought to us. The beef on the large plate was shiny and all looked delicious. The lean meat, lean meat steak, kalbi, and middle rib kalbi were incredibly tender and very tasty when eaten after being lightly seared. The other cuts and dishes were also delicious, and it was a very satisfying dinner.

I ordered the Gokumori set, which included various cuts of meat such as rib loin, sirloin, karubi, and tongue. The rib loin stood out as particularly delicious. However, compared to a similar set I had at another restaurant, the taste and quantity did not quite measure up. I also ordered a thick-cut beef tongue with salt, which was tasty but did not offer the best value for the price. Overall, if you are willing to spend a bit more for a meal near Kitasenju Station, this restaurant might be worth a try. However, considering the price, there may be other places where you can get better quality or more quantity of meat for the same amount. In terms of meat quality, I did not encounter any major disappointments during this visit.
